We had a great experience at Westminster Toyota and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone! We had been looking at a Toyota 4Runner at another dealership in the area and had a very negative experience. When we arrived at Westminster Toyota, we instantly saw a night and day difference in service, professionalism, and transparency when dealing with Sam and Harvinder. They are focused on ensuring customers leave happy instead of making a quick sale. When the 4runner we were hoping to look at was not on the lot that day, Sam went above and beyond and drove it out to us to test drive (over an hour each way) and once purchased, he followed up with us to see how we were making out with our new vehicle. Both Sam and Harvinder made this a very pleasant, stress-free experience for us and we look forward to returning in the future when it is time for a new vehicle.

I went to westminster toyota and bought a 2018 camry and i am very very happy with my purchase it was probably the best sales experience i have ever had purchasing a car. There was a brilliant salesman named sunil narula who helped me out the whole way through. He was incredibly helpful and was not pushy at all. I am over the moon with my purchase and i would especially like to thank Sunil.

Only the first day was very good after that they took 3 weeks get my documents I had to call several times and I go there and pick them,wasting my time. They promise me window sun visor and tinted but they ended up with only front sun visor and bubbled window tinted, Their service is suck.

Jeremy and Rosh were both professional and helpful in my car buying experience. I never felt pressured into making a decision. Their insights allowed me to make an informed decision about my purchase. I appreciate Jeremy's honesty when answering my questions about the vehicle. Make sure you do not get helped by Sales Rep LEO.

I got to this dealership this morning and was greated by a Sales Rep named Leo. I told him i was looking for Manny (a different sales rep). But then he started to ask me questions like what are you looking for. I was assumming he was the only person available to help me at that time so I took his help.

I told him I saw a few Toyota Corollas that I saw on line that I wanted to look at today. I also mentioned that I wanted to check out some RAV4s. Then he spoke to me in a very condescending tone and was like there's quite a price difference on the two. Can you afford it?! What is your budget!!!?

(I'm alot older than I actually look)

I told him " I'm a young working professional. You don't think I can afford a $20000 used RAV4?" I was so repulsed by his sales manner and attitude. He was so condescending and rude.

Then we went to look at the car and I told him I wanted to drive it. Because the engine looked clean.. so the last thing would to be to test drive it. Leo (sales rep) laughed at me. It was the type of laugh that is rude and degrading. Then he said "Look carefully, if you like, then you can drive. " OBVIOUSLY I LIKE IT OR I WOULDN'T WANT TO TEST DRIVE IT. His attitude was so rude and he made it seem like i was wasting his time. He never even explained anything about the car to me!!!

Anyways, he grabbed my drivers license and went into the building.

But then i thought I wouldn't be able to stand his rudeness for a full test drive. So I went in and told the reception girl to page him & tell him that i didnt want to test drive it anymore. Leo came down the stairs and I told him I'll come back another day and left.

All I wanted was to buy a car, I didn't have to go through that. That sales rep Leo was soo horrible!! He was rude, condescending and degrading. What a horrible way to make your customers feel first thing in the morning.

I went to a few other dealerships after and their service was amazing and they went above and beyond what they could to give me what I wanted in my car. :)

The store is small and the facilities are outdated, but the price is relatively real and the credit is reliable.

Barb is nice, friendly and accomodating. She explained everything to us and answered all my questions.

I m in a Liberty to say, that my experiences with New Westminster Toyota was unparalleled to any of the dearlership in The Greater Vancouver Area. I had been to quite a few dealership in the mainland but the Attention I received at New Westminter Toyota far exceeded my expectations.This is the only dealership that I noticed, that all The Staff have a smile on there Faces, approachable and not a prejudice. I also observed in this Dealership, that Managers or The General Manager in not just confined in there offices, you can also find them on the display/sales floor assisting other customers.

just bought a 2020 RAV4 about a month ago, the BEST vehicle purchase service and experience I've ever had. My product advisor is Michael Chen, and he is just the most amazing sales rep! Arrogant and rude sales manager. I went to buy a new highlander, met a nice junior saleseman and done a test drive. I then had to wait for more than 30 mins for the sales manager to do the deal. This guy ruined my day. He wouldn't give any specific valuation to my trade-in, wouldn't commit to any time frame for getting the new vehicle. The worst dealership I have ever seen. I will buy my car from another Toyota dealership.

I am on my third Toyota from Westminster Toyota, the sales staff, the service staff, and the management team are totally customer oriented. I always feel welcome by the service team (Cary is great at explaining things) and I have never felt any pressure from the friendly sales staff that I have dealt with. The new dealership facilities in Queensborough Landing is so much bigger and better than the previous location - with plenty of space for customers to relax while waiting for their Toyota to be serviced. Free coffee included! My recent purchase experience working with Product Advisor David Lau was amazing, David is a professional and very helpful and patient in every way. The general sales manager and sales manager made a point to talk with me and help me understand a few of the finer points of the deal. The Business Manager and Insurance sales person were both totally on top of getting me through the sale to driving off the lot with my newly purchased car. The service department people are super rude here. They will suggest a bunch of extra work "Needed" on your car to rip your off. When you tell them you will think about the extra work because of the cost, they roll their eyes at you. Should've read others people's post about this place. My own fault for coming here.

Second Update: After updating my first review, I finally heard back from a manager. Three weeks later, after taking my vehicle in to inspect it themselves and giving me a quote to repair of double my regular mechanic, they offered me about 1/3 the cost of their quoted repair (by their Toyota service department) rather than repairing it themselves to make it right. The manager only called after business hours (7pm or later) or before business hours and no-showed an appointment they setup with me (I live out of town and had to drive an hour and a half to get there). Nobody knew why I was there when I showed up and I had to explain myself multiple times to retrieve my vehicle. Although I appreciate the nominal offer of something to resolve this, the unprofessionalism was astounding from an apparently well-reputed dealership. I also made a call to the GM because of the poor service and the sales manager no-showing my scheduled appointment; the GM did not return my call. I was considering leasing in the future but will never deal with this dealership again.

Update: I took my vehicle to the mechanic for its first oil change and found out there was an existing leak in the steering, when I was told by Toyota there were not leaks and the vehicle was in mint condition. I asked Westminster Toyota to make it right - after 2 months of going back and forth trying to get a response, they would not do anything for me. This has resulted in about $1400 in repairs right off the lot. I decided to purchase from a dealership so that I wouldn t have to worry about the condition of the vehicle (I ve bought privately before), and paid a premium for this, but very much regretting this decision. If you buy from Westminster Toyota, take your vehicle to an independent, trusted mechanic right away to confirm everything is as it should be.

I really appreciated Cliff s expertise in the industry and working with me to get to a deal I was really happy with me. We purchased our Rav4, February 2015, and although we live on the Sunshine Coast, we have always had our vehicle serviced at Westminster Toyota. We have found that the service department goes well beyond what one could/should normally expect. They are efficient, courteous, polite and very professional. Your vehicle is always returned, upon completion of the service, washed. That in itself is a treat!
Once you book an appointment, they take the time to send you a friendly email confirming your appointment. Furthermore, they also take the time, closer to your appointment, to personally contact you.

We have found Service Advisor Jeff Herbert, to be outstanding. He takes the time with you to review your work order, upon check in, to insure that you are aware of what is needed. He may also provide you with options of what needs to be done and what can wait until your next service. He then also takes the time to review, in detail, your invoice upon completion of the service.
Jeff goes out of his way, above and beyond, to help, whether it is to advise on service options, source out accessories, direct you to a recommended outside Toyota contractor (windshield, paint), or replace your damaged licence plate holder.

I had a great overall experience dealing with William Zhao. He is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He and his manager Harvinder gave me a very good deal on the RAV4 that I wanted. I highly recommend William to those people who are looking for a good deal or discount and exceptional customer service to go with it. Thanks very much William, Harvinder and Westminster Toyota.

Had a very unpleasant experience with sales manager. Went to trade my BMW X5 for 2017 4runner. While negotiation we were treated very rudely and some of the comments made by sales manager were very inappropriate.
He said " We have alot of CAUCASIAN customers and they do not negotiate at all ! "
He continued "If I had known that you were going to negotiate , I would have low balled to begin with and made you beg for every penny"

Everyone works hard for their money and if I can afford 47000$ SUV then it doesn't mean I can't negotiate !
It felt like I was being racially profiled !

Do want to mention that other Manager Kartik and salesperson Chintan were very professional and apologized for all this. That manager also called back to apologize within 2 hours of posting this Review. I am glad some actions were taken but I am deeply hurt and will not be going back to this location again.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Westminster Toyota. When buying, the sales team were awesome. Special mention to Cliff who was super patient and really listened to what I was looking for. Real bad experience for a trade ins. Put down a deposit for a Rav4 prime on May 2020, until Mar 2021 no email or phone calls then I decide to text sales ask for my R4P. status and told him we will trade in 2 car for it. And sales Lance told us we need to wait another month til APR. Suddenly Lance told us my R4P is in already to pick it up, Okay we are so happy for it and then we decided just trades in for one car not two. Now the nightware begins, sales thought we trades in 2 cars but now just one and they are not happy for it, and they said all the bad things about my trades in car have lots of issues. LIke no service history in Toyota, now a day lots of people DIY oil change is very easy , also we have do paint job for your trades in, your car have lots recall and issues that they knew about it and already worried next buyer who will buy my trades in will have lots of issues. Then they just offer me a dirt cheap amount for my trades in. HELLO!!! Lets focus my sales of the new car first! I am the customer who actully willing to pay MRSP for your car. NOW you just loss 2 sales and shame on you guys. I will never goto Westminster TOYOTA again and not recommend for all my co-workers and friends and family.

When we first arrived, we were introduced to Gary (Gurjot Sandhu) and immediately his smile re-assured us that we had a good man looking after us. He was so personable that it was almost like we were talking to an old friend. His knowledge and skill were evident as he guided us through some possibilities that we could manage. This was important to us. You see, my wife had an accident the day before and we needed a vehicle to replace our Yaris. It was almost as if he read our minds on what are needs were. Gary was pleasant. understanding, personable, and without any feeling of pressure sales, he helped us with our choice. He worked with us to get the best price for our trade in and a fair deal on our new 4Runner. We absolutely love our new vehicle and couldn't be happier! I intended to wait a little while to really see how this dealership deals with clients and who our car sales person really is.

We went to check out some vehicles, and the first person (Michael) I spoke with was not in that day but he made sure that we will be accommodated. We met David Lau and he was awesome! David had us drove the cars we looked at and guided us through. We didn't get the cars we intended to get... Instead, with David's help, we got a better one (2018 Nissan Sentra SV, very low mileage and a great deal)!!! Thanks to David's very calm, kind, and friendly accommodation to us. He fought for our "interest" too, and made sure that we would be happy as we walk out of that dealership.

After we got the car, he made several follow ups just to check on us about how we like the vehicle we bought. This is what I call "Added Value" which many dealerships do not practice anymore. Most dealerships/sales people, after they got your business, the clients become just a number in their quota. Their enthusiasm when they first met you suddenly goes away just like the Canada weather. But we didn't experience that with David. We just met him for couple of hours yet when we parted ways, I felt like we've been friends for years. We were very much satisfied! Keep up the good work brother!

Definitely the best place with amazing employees. It was my first car and I had so many things going on in mind. I am glad I choose Westminster Toyota and I met Sam who I think is the best sales person they have. He was a big help he understood each and everything and presented the best deal possible. I was so happy with the deal he proposed that it was even better than the budget I was looking to spend. I couldn't have asked for more. Sam was honest throughout the whole procedure and cleared all my doubt. The agency provides the best customer service. Choosing this place to buy your car will not make you regret your decision.

I had a noice coming out of my Corolla. Took to the new Westminster dealership. Met with Jeff.

I was told it would cost me $240 for a compression test and $130 for intake manifold test. I'm sure because, I wrote it down while having the convocation over the phone.
They couldn't do the compression test because of malfunction with their tools. So I was told I'm not going to get charged for the compression test.

When I went to pick up my car, my total was $329.

When I asked for a breakdown of the costs.
I was charged $203 for the intake manifold + $20 for their computer updates $ 69 for labour = $292 before tax.

Worst dealership ever. Do not recommend this place.

To summarize they couldn't fix the car. Wants me to comeback when the engine light goes ON. but charged me $292+ tax for intake manifold test, labour, and their computer update.

I went to Westminster Toyota because I had been perusing their website for a used car. Talia helped me choose the right vehicle for me. I took my car there due to a recall. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and friendly services provided by Jeff and Roy. Jeff walked me through all the details when i dropped off my car and Roy drove me home and back while they worked on my car so I didn't need to stay there for several hours. They even washed my car after the service is completed. They truly care about the customers and take pride in their works. I would for sure go back to them when I need a new car
