I won t recommend this hotel.. sad and not super clean

This place is amazing for the price. Chase T. at the front desk absolutely went above and beyond in regards to any special request I had. He was also very knowledgeable on what there was to do for tourists around the Fort Lauderdale area. I will always choose the Westin whenever I am staying in for FLL area.

Room was large but decor was a little dated. The bed was a heavenly bed but it wasn't as comfortable as other Westin heavenly beds. I wonder if the mattress was just old. Check in experience was prolonged and not very good. Pool area is very nice and clean.

Staff is nice. But everything was broke or under construction. No pool day shuttle did not run on friday. Room was nice but the phone didn't work

I don't know if this is a true fair assessment because of covid-19 however the hotel is running on a very small Skeleton Crew and there is very little available through the restaurant. However in regards to the front desk even though they had one person working at a time they were incredibly polite and efficient and doing their best to accommodate all of the patrons.

Hotel is very quiet. Staff are very helpful. Parking lot is very big and it is free to park. A bit further away from the ocean than I usually stay, but not too far.

One of my favorite Westins right on A1A. Great outside pool/bar deck with several restaurants including great sushi!

Jermaine, Raphael and the staff at this hotel are the absolute best at what they do. When I say that Jermaine single-handedly changed my vacation and how my last day would go that is an understatement to the experience he created for us. And it didn't just stop after we checked into a beautiful room that he kindly put us in due to the issues we experienced all day but the manager the next morning extended the hotels kindness once again and got us breakfast. I really wish that I could put into words how meaningful the staff and all that they did for us was. Outside of the fact that the property is beautiful the rooms are clean well-kept and the amenities are endless it's the people that make this hotel one I will visit again and again. Because of these people they have represented the Westin in a way that has completely changed my perspective on travel and where I will stay when I do. I just want to say again thank you to the staff here and for all that you had given me before I came back to Philadelphia.

This hotel sits closely to the highway, great staff people, rooms are clean and comfy. I would come here again.

This is as good a place as I've ever been in service wise. They bent over backwards to accommodate every request we made. Staff, from the front desk, Front Of House in the restaurant (breakfast was amazing!), housekeeping, all were courteous and generous with their time. At first entrance I thought it would just be some boring corporate meeting house with beds. But it really changed my mind from the first interaction to the last. Kudos to the GM, you challenged your staff to produce a 10 and you got it.

Room was clean and nice. Flat screen tv, complimentary water and toiletries, reading light on headboard.

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Room wasn't ready - had to wait 2 hours - finally get a room and the bed is broken, blood on the sheets - stained carpet. Wait over an hour for another room. Hotel is beat up - needs an upgrade. Definitely not anywhere near the Westin quality you would expect. Would never stay here again - even if it was free.

It was very nice for the meeting we attended. The staff was very accommodating for coffee while they were slammed for breakfast with the hotel guests. There was lots of parking.

Westin always does a nice job. Only downside is freeway noise.

If the hotel very comfortable good location and especially the staff that attends first x that is already three times that I come to this hotel.

Great room service, the food was amazing! Slowest wifi I've had all year and the TV signal looks like you're stealing it from the neighbors. I ended up using my phone's hotspot to do business and research.

Comfortable meeting rooms. Ample parking. Clean. Good food service.

If it wasn't for the super nice and attentive staff, this hotel would earn a 1 star. However, in today's competitive market, great staff is essential and expected. The facilities here is what suffers the most. Broken switches, lights, elevators, door locks, beds, tile, walls, you name it, it's probably broken here. I've not stayed at an established business-level hotel that has needed a remodel as bad as this Westin in the 12 years I've been a traveling sales professional. The beds are old and stinky, the rooms smell like chlorine, the carpet looks like it should be thrown in the dumps. It's obvious that the Starwood brand doesn't care about this once-shining gem in their fleet. Do not stay here.

Older property without the amenities that you would assume for a Westin. They are doing upgrades however, which should improve the overall experience.

Terrible experience! The hotel is under construction which we weren t told about til we arrived. Our room was filthy: stained carpets, worn out furniture. Staff were unsympathetic: we get this all the time . It s disgraceful that this hotel is under the Westin brand. Avoid if at all possible!

Went for a seminar down there in Fort Lauderdale,FL. Loved the atmosphere the design, cleanliness of the place and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again if I had the money. Just was not impressed with the restaurant and the food.

Elevator was out of service so it seemed like only one was working. Called the front desk for sheets for the pull out bed and it took 40 minutes to get the to us. I had gone down myself to get the sheets and when I came up to the hotel room door the guy was there with the sheets. Not the best service in the world.

Very disappointing that a 4 star hotel can look like this! very dated rooms, black mold in the pool, bathroom by pool smells horrible aswell as pool area smells like dirty sewer water, just look at the pictures that i have posted.

The Westin is always is very nice, I hear the pools amazing have yet to be invited by mr. Westin to take a dip.

This hotel had some great rates so I booked it, but it was in a rather obscure area with not much to do, but did have easy access to 95 if you plan to travel around. I have to commend Chloe at the front desk for taking care of me, she has great energy and truly understands customer service. My original room smelled pretty rank, which others have complained about here, but I talked to her and got a different room free of charge. Unlike other hotels, parking is free, which is a huge plus. Definitely would recommend this place, but it does need cleaned up a bit.

It was a great experience, very relaxing and lots to do

Staff is incredibly good. Restaurant food is ok if you don't feel like adventuring out. Rooms are relatively updated, although the TV was a bit old. Overall would definitely recommend.

Super comfortable beds and I liked the rain shower. The desk area is a little small and the soap is leaf shape that is impossible to hold onto. The are mid-updrade and few rooms have refridgerators. I didn't use the pool but I heard good things about the breakfast buffet from my friends. I'll gladly stay there again.

In desperate need of an update. The rooms smelt old and stuffy. I had to ask to be moved to 2nd room due to smell. The carpets in the rooms were really old. There was dust all over (vents, light switch, etc.). I could not get my shaver to work properly, it kept tripping the surge protector. I would not stay there again

We enjoy staying here. The hotel is convienently located, the rooms are ckean and comfy, the pool area is beautiful and the hotel is pet friendly.

A little pricy but decent lunch. Worth a try. They offer different theme everyday. Good salads

Nothing much going on in the neighborhood, but friendly staff and quiet. Ah, hotel room was large and the swimming pool was nice!

I like the design of this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly.

First, check in was really bad, we came late night, The unfriendly front desk lady over charge me because of pin pad problem. Also we book for 1 king bed and she gave us 1 room with 2 small beds, she said she just came and we have to take this room because she doesn't have anything available, I was really upset because I book for this room 3 weeks before. But, the next day I met a wonderful and nice lady Laura, after I explain her what happen, she gave us another room with 1 king bed and offer us free breakfast for the rest of our stay. Thank you Laura for your consideration, we enjoy the breakfast. Food was very good and servers very nice and friendly. I didn't get chance to see you again Laura, you change our stay and it's because of you I gave 5 star to Westin. The room was very clean, bed was like heaven. other than bad experience with check in everything was fine.

I say at this place several times a year.. only because of location to where I need to be the next day.

If I was looking for a place to vacation, this would not be where I spent my money.

The rooms are large but very dated. The doors do not shut well. Make sure you push the door hard to insure it actually closed. I've returned to my room before, thinking I shut the door, to find it was still open because it didn't close.

The front desk for the most part are friendly. Check in us slow and often they are training new people. If you are checked in by an order staff member, your service is much better.

However, if you are a gold or platinum member, DON'T expect to get an upgrade, not even from a queen double room to a king. For some reason, they NEVER have an upgrade. I stay here monthly and have never revived one. I haven't had this same experience at other Westin hotels. They also seem to always forget to include the 20% discount on food.

I use room service when I'm there. The food is good. I recommend the burger and the steak. The yuka has little taste, go with the potatoes. I cannot recommend the Cuban sandwich.

The restaurant is just average. Once again, the service isn't anything to write home about. The breakfast buffet is pricy and only has the average food items on it. For the price, you are better off with room service. I recommend the egg white omelet.

The last time I was there was my worst stay. The toilet would not stop running even after I called them up to fix it. However the absolute worst part of my stay was getting up in the morning to take a quick shower and to find that I had no hot water. When I called the front desk to get this fixed the answer was to send somebody up to simply run the water longer and of course there was no hot water. They did apologize but that didn't make a cold shower any better.

Great hotel! No railway nearby to keep me awake all night! Complimentary breakfast is wonderful as well!

Meeting my mother and a friend at the hotel. Lobby was lovely. Clean and well appointed bathrooms.

Hotel staff was great very friendly. I had an issue with the cleaning of my shower, twice, but the hotel was very understanding and accommodating to the situation. The reason why they only get a two stars is because on top of the few mishaps with the room, I had extra charges to my credit card that had been paid with cash, too many staff members were changing info on my reservation which made it hard to check out. Almost a month later my money still hasn't been returned.

Had to change rooms as the air conditioning was out in the room. The new room wasn't much better. They did comp my breakfast, but the night was miserable. Shame on them as this hotel is not cheap.

Went for a training seminar so I didn't see the rooms but the food provided by the hotel restaurant was very good.

Only a quick overnight stay, but the quality is closer to a Sheraton from my experience. Nothing spectacular stood out, mostly adequate for working professionals.

The BEST service, amenities and location could not have been better! This was not my 1st stay at this location and it won t be my last. The ENTIRE staff made made the experience more than you could bargain for! Keep up the great work Westin Ft. Lauderdale

We were at the Westin for a 2 day training conference. Parking was easy and staff was amazing. Food and drinks provided were great as well.

Stayed for two nights in a standard room. The room was clean, and everything worked (although the internet connection was noticeably slow). Ordered room service one night and the food was well prepared. Overall the experience was pleasant.

The rooms were dated and weren't as clean as I expected. When you come through the entrance you will be wowed by the appearance but it changes once you get to your room. Will I ever stay at this property again, no... not at all.

Love love love this place! The hotel staff at the front desk was amazing. The property manager even greeted me while I was in line checking in. Rooms are very spacious and clean, and the pool is immaculate. Much better experience at this location than the location by the beach. Parking is FREE and they don't have that pesky resort fee. Will definitely stay here again.

Had an interview in the area and had to stay here for a couple days. Pretty good luxury hotel, has all the fixings youd expect.

I booked a queen suite for my daughter's prom night since the prom was at the hotel and it would be easier to have her get ready there. At check in there were no luggage carts and I was told it would be at least 30 minutes before there would be on available. No one offered to help us with our luggage! No robe in the room as was stated in the reservation. My daughter had to sit in a towel while having her make-up done! Desk chair in poor condition! When I sat back the chair went back so far I almost fell over! Holes in the ceiling! Chipped soap dish! Not what I am used to at Westin properties at all! Very disappointed. Don't think I'll be going back there again!

The BEST service ever. And the place is AMAZING. Frantz, Rachel and the rest of the staff are Awesome, they took care of me and my wife as newlyweds for our honeymoon. The Room is pleasant and clean, roomy would even say Sexy. The best hotel experience ever.

Lonia and Jordan are the best she made my trip and ill definitely be back, welcome service, SPG recognition and great views from the room

The room was nice. But, I was never informed that there was construction going through the hotel. They shut down all their restaurants including Starbucks without telling or listing it. The website says they re open. Picked the hotel specifically for the restaurants. Was quite upset

Be awareeeeeee!!!!!!! If I could give this piece of hotel a minus 7 stars I would. They changed us twice from rooms and both showers didn t work, the water wouldn t drain, therefore it will go up to my ankles. They said they will send somebody to the room and it s been over two hours since nobody has showed up. Another customer told me they were supposed to check in at 2 and they only checked them in after hours of waiting. They should go out of business! Be aware of getting fungus!!!!!!!!!!!
