I love this hotel. The room was big and comfortable, bed was amazing (comfty, soft, and easy to sleep on). For a flight crew is a very convenient location with a great entrance to the security area for the Delta terminal (even if the terminal is the north one, for eating the hotels location is convenient). All accommodations by the hotel provided, great fitness center, beautiful and luxurious ambiance. Only thing I would like see change is the front desk agents, some could be more friendly (there weren't rude or disrespectful but didn't felt very welcoming).

Ideally located at the airport if you are travelling in and out of Detroit Airport and need a place to stay overnight. High standard rooms and the restaurant serves plenty of healthy food and the bar is stocked with enough drink options to cater for everyone.

The lobby of this hotel is in open view of the homeland security podium at the entrance to the gates. Is the glival security team of the westin aware that a member of hotel management confronted me while i was eating dinner and let ME know to MY face how upset she was at me because i walked across the hall and told homeland security and then the detroit pd (as requested by homelend security) that the valets at the westin needed to be trained as they were telling customers they could consume pot products on their sm9king bench. You ATTACKED me in front of everyone. Did you report in to westin worldwide.

Booked a room through a travel website, ended up being at this hotel. However, the room was booked in the wrong "area" chosen. Travel website was not initially helpful, however, staff at Westin eventually helped get the issue resolved and refunded.

Similar to my last stay I had a fabulous deep sleep. The rooms are lovely with nice modern touches. The bed is so comfortable. The room is CLEAN and polished- front staff are friendly and accurate. Best of all it takes minutes to get out of the hotel through security to your gate. This hotel is worth the money if you need to rest a little in between flights.

Awesome staff. Great burger. Beautiful respite from the airport.

If you fly Delta, and your flight back home is early morning, the wisest choice will be to stay at Westin which is at the Detroit Airport and the security is literally right by the lobby. If you fly Southwest or any other airlines, then you can still take the free hotel shuttle to get to your terminal on the other side of the airport.

About my experience at the hotel, I would give 10 stars if possible. I went there around 5pm. Got myself salmon and black rice from the restaurant to eat in the room. Then I came down to the lobby to get something and found the VIP lounge where they were serving hors d oeuvres. Great service, nice room and delicious food! Also I judge a hotel by its bathroom. If it's nice enough to take a picture there, then the hotel must be good.

This hotel was not at all what we expected. We were placed here after the airline could not get us home. I was expecting the typical Westin heavenly bed. The bed was not heavenly it was 2 full size not even queens and they were not the most comfortable. The hotel was under construction so getting around was not as easy as it normally would have been either.

Safety and complete satisfaction! Key card to visit floors. Front desk attentive and alert. Called to see if guests could come up! Clean clean clean!! And the bed slept as good as my own! Just enough room for a weekend trip. Shuttles and car rental near by. And the Valet was PREMIUM!! Simple call and my car was ready and the heat was turned on for me!! These are just the little things that made this sorrowful visit worth the stay! Thanks Westin!

The parking is outrageous. $36 for 8hrs is silly. We are not Chicago!!

Beautiful hotel with immaculate rooms and great views. I don't think there was a bad view in this hotel. It's a huge plus that the hotel has it's own TSA check point to avoid the ones in the terminal. There were a couple nice looking restaurants but we didn't have the chance to try them. Next time we have an early morning flight, we're staying here again.

Really like the updated lobby with the green wall, although I do miss the bamboo. They've got great seating and power for working out catching up.

My experience in customer service is when somthing gets messed up or screwed up somehow! Its the way your able to go above and beyond for your customer to have a better overall experience to continue to delight there true needs so they have a positive outlook on your place of business! I was completely dissatisfied on my experance here at the Weston Detroit airport! If somthing is promised to your customer follow threw. I felt like the sheets where pulled over my eyes when I reserved a executive suite.The only reason why I booked this room and this hotel was so that me and my fiance could take a night out away from reality and relax in a jacuzzi based tub with some good room service and just a day away from our normal routine. My fiance and I work many many hours such as yourselves and when you actually get a moment to spend quality time with each other it is priceless! That's why I decided to spend almost $600 for 1 night at your beautiful hotel. But to be treated the way I was treated I felt downgraded and completely embarrassed to be put in the position that your staff put me in! Your staff told me that they would give me credit towards my room $100 to be exact soooooo does that make it ok to fish and bate meaning paying for somthing that your not getting (bathtub). All and all its not about the money for my fiance and I it was supposed to be for the experience. They booked us a handicap accessible room that is completely unnecessary to our needs. All we wanted was a bathtub in the room. To be a hotel of your standards how could you not be able to accommodate that! I could have easily went anywhere at any time at any place but I chose you because you're supposed to be the best in the business. So your staff continued to make poor excuses on how they cannot take care of me and my fiance once again downgraded and embarrassed I honestly Wonder if I had my Suit & Tie on like I wear 60 per week maybe your staff would have takin care of me then. I felt as I was judged on my appearance and maybe you could just go ahead and put the sheets over my eyes and flutter me with a lousy $100 gift certificate to make me go away. So then you could get away with such embarrassment and humiliation. I truly hope you take the survey serious and maybe even use it for training purposes on your customer experience I am completely appalled on how your staff handled my situation I felt simply takin advantage of! If you feel the need to call me feel free.

Stayed in an executive suite overnight waiting for our flight. Great room with view of the ramp, but still quiet enough for rest. Friendly staff and of course perfect location for getting some rest during a long layover.

Attended a short meeting. Staff were helpful in directing me where to go and the lunch served was great.

Quick overnight business trip. The hotel is connected to the airport, which was great! The room was comfortable, but the hallway leading to it was desperately in need of vacuuming. All in all, I'd stay there again...

It doesn't get any more convenient than this for the airport, unless you have a flight leaving from the north terminal. Rooms are nice. There could be more accessible dining options, but there's an excellent club lounge.

This is one of the best!! It s awesome from reflections bar and the food was delicious the wings and the pan roasted chicken was a hit!!! The suite I had was clean and very nice and well set up everything you would need even if you forget your essentials from needle and thread, safety pin, q tips nail file just those little details make it all the better! Even a covid packet with a mask etc!!!

My 8 year old son and I had stayed at this hotel from March 7th until the 9th. During this time I had been trying to get to Jamaica for a family vacation and due to some very unfortunate issues we encountered, we were unable to go. I wanted to take some time to thank those ladies at the front desk for all their sympathies and understanding with our situation. They went above an beyond Genuine Guest Service! I wish I would have written down names as I believe they should be acknowledged by their Management. They made a very stressful situation into a more comfortable time for myself and my son. Thank you again ladies for helping us stranded travelers!!!!!

The hotel in general was very nice and I'd stay there again if I ever get back there.

We stayed one night to catch our flight the next day. We were on the 5 th floor. The employees are always pleasant. Rooms immaculate. Love the Westin line of bedding and towels. Absolutely loved the lavender oil.

Very nice hotel directly connected to the Detroit Airport. Beautiful! Great staff, very nice rooms, and really great room service! The hamburger on a brioche bun, and wedge salad I had was delicious. I would definitely return next time I am Detroit.

The hotel is very beautiful on the inside, with many comfortable chairs to lounge in. The rooms are equipped with good WiFi, comfortable beds, generous amount of towels and pillows like you'd expect.

There's a fancy looking in hotel restaurant that I have not eaten at yet.

As an airport hotel there is nothing to do but sit in your room (although they do have a gym and pool) because there is nothing nearby. On the other hand you have cool views of the tarmac if you like looking at planes and the noise is barely noticeable.

There's a separate security line to get into the terminal which is nice and access to the regular departures level is as easy as walking there.

The valet service is also prompt and easy which is a big plus.

Amazing view! Perfect location for inconveniently timed flights. Professional staff. Not kid friendly. Surrounding location is not desirable unless you have a flight.

Went for a work event. The ballrooms are beautiful and very well kept. The staff were very polite and efficient

My husband and I stay here every year before going on vacation as a way to kick it off early. Love dining in the restaurant. We have never had a bad meal or service. In fact I loved my meal so much ( a mushroom toast) that I want to recreate it! Staff s always helpful with helping us with our luggage and getting checked into the airlines

Terrible. 350 per night no breakfast. Beds were horrible. Front desk was un helpful. Gold member which means nothing now. Ill be staying with Hilton from now on.

Not much to do there when you are there for a competition but still a nice hotel

Love the bed, and the shower...the products are nice. The lavender relaxing oil is a nice touch especially since I usually only stay at this location when there are issues with my flight. I just had a cheeseburger & fries but it was really good and surprisingly quick.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Prices are a bit high but great location.

Wonderful place to stay when you re passing through Detroit! Beautiful atrium. Fantastic breakfast. Our room looked out toward the tarmac and yet it was very quiet. Loved it!

Clean rooms and the bed was very comfortable. I had a great night's sleep before an early morning flight.

We have stayed here several times as they provide various savings for airline employees - but not anymore. We were stranded at Detroit Metro because of delays this past Valentine s Day. After a long day, we arrived at midnight, where the front desk manager told us their "last room" would be $640 even though we were checking out five hours later. No, there were no discounts not even for seniors. His attitude was one that said, take it or leave it. Very difficult to swallow that type of corporate greed, the greed that takes advantaged of stranded passengers, and jacks up prices during a busy weekend. Down the road, if there was a better price and we had a longer stay, just out of principle we won t ever stay there again. In spite of the 15 degrees outside, we left. In doing so we found much better options for future stays.

Even with the reduced rates, we had in the past, the hotel is not worth the money. One pays for the convenience. Therefore, much is overlooked; for instance, we have never been greeted with any sense of warmth from the front desk. They all appear, even this past Friday, to have had bad days and find it difficult to welcome a guest enthusiastically. Before and even now after their renovation, they still appear as if the guest is bothering them. Considering the exorbitant prices, one would expect a minimal show of graciousness.
Yes, though, they have the nice security check-in into the Terminal that only works for those guests who just have a carry-on. If you need to check baggage you will need to take a long walk to access the airport security lines.

One should know, if you only have a carry-on, the hotel shuttles drop you off at the Delta Terminal, where there are short lines and very easy assess right as you walk in. The carry one line goes so quickly that there are no distinctions between TSA, Clear First Class.

There are numerous hotels a 10th of the price a couple of miles down the road, which offer a free breakfast, Internet, and around the clock shuttle service and a welcoming front desk. I recommend using them if $600-$1,000 a night savings is important to you.

Very polite ppl. Missed my flight due to lack of information giving to me of parking lots. However turn out with a blessing from a sweet lady name Bonnie S. T.Y. so much. No cleaning,wiping down, very clean place, bt because of Covid-19,and such a high level of traffic, more disinfecting would be great. Reflection food was very good. Hotel shower and tub was awesome.

I Only visited a friend. Didn't actually stay there. Swimming pool is to small.

Attended an event at the Westin. Nice hotel with nicely decorated meeting spaces and excellent food services. Convenient for out of town guests to attend without needing to seek other transportation. Parking options limited for locals and at a high cost.

Very happy with the room and check-in service. But very disappointed by the lobby restaurant. I stayed here twice. First time, the wait tme was supposed to be 15 mins (I was told) and it turned to be 30 mins. Apprently the wait staff forgot to keep an eye on waiting customers. Second time, I ordered a coffee in the morning and sit down at a quite area of the cafe. One hour later, no coffee has showed up and I was told I was sitting in the none-service area when asked. The waitress is argumentative although I clearly told her I will remain sitting at where I was. She apprently didn't know how to clearly communicate the restaurant policy and need training. The restaurant needs a turn-around manager.

This hotel is pretty nice as far as the building and its proximity to the airport so if you are having a short overnight at the airport or your have an early flight to good place to stay but the staff is rude and the shuttle bus service that they have going from terminal to terminal is worthless as well

Decent hotel. Small rooms, but clean. Prices are super inflated due to convenience factor of being IN the airport. I was surprised that staying in the hotel didn't offer any amenities regarding checking of bags. Was kinda neat to see the terminals from the room though!

Perhaps I had my hopes set too high, but this hotel was no where near what I would expect. Especially being a Westin that is connected to one of the best airports in the U.S. Beyond Valet taking my keys, I was expecting a bellhop assistance with luggage. Well there wasn't even anyone from the hotel to welcome me and more importantly to provide some direction on where I needed to go. Basically one was on their own after the valet. Earlier in the day I did a self check in using my app, which informed me I could use the blue tooth key to enter my room. So the wife and I moved our luggage as we did our own navigation through the hotel and back up to the 6th floor to find out my room phone/bluetooth key did not work. So I had to make my way to go find the reception desk which took me a bit to find (needs more signage), to find out that the app was incorrect and that I cannot self check-in with the park-stay-fly package. Once finally getting into the room we did head down to reflections and from here I will say the drinks were really good, the bartender did know what he was doing. The food was good and some items had it's high points, but nothing that wowed us.

Overall well I have stayed several times at DTW park, stay, and fly packages and have ones that I prefer. This trip for the wife and I, well I decided let's splurge and stay at what I thought was going to be the top of the line. With a cost being more than double of it's competition well I've received better service at other hotels, and the additional cost and ease of walking into the airport vs taking a hotel shuttle does not justify the extra cost. So it's one of those "I tried it, but won't ever stay at the Westin in DTW again."

It was a good stay. Our a.c. didn't work very well. Asked to have it looked at or change rooms and nothing was done. Also asked to stay an extra day for similar price and was told to pay full price or check out. Overall clean hotel.

Fantastic hotel, highly recommended! Very friendly staff when I checked in, even though it's quite late at night. The restaurant food was good as well, didn't try the heavy main dish but the app and the salads are on point. The real cool thing is this hotel is literally in the airport!! So my room was overlooking the tarmac! How cool is that! The noise level is very low because of the heavy glass. And there is also a security gate inside the hotel for quick access to the gates. I love this hotel! If comeback will definitely stay here again.

I am a Titanium member. I was offered the room opposite the elevator on the 4th floor. I returned to front desk and asked for a less noisy location. I was offered a room further from the elevator on the 2nd floor. I went to that room and it was also across from the elevator on the 2nd floor. I returned to the front desk and asked for the manager. The manager told me the hotel is sold out and offered me a room next to the ice machine. I returned to the 4th floor room. I called Marriott Bonvoy customer service and was told that I got the best room given the hotel is sold out and that in his opinion that the room opposite the elevator is not noisy. I reminded Marriott of my status and that I booked this room many weeks ago. Again the same sold out logic was repeated. I gave up and am now going to bed.

Sue helped us get the parking pass package and get adjoining rooms!! such a pleasure!! Room service was excellent and fast too considering all the rules and regulations rules with covid!!! excellent service!!!! THANKS AGAIN SUE FOR HELPING MAKE OUR STAY GREAT!!! oh the valet guy who was working on Sunday December 26 th AT AROUND 7 pm was awesome as well !!!! thanks to him too i didn't get his name unfortunately.. he was so kind and helpful!!!
