Westin Crown Center Review

Stayed here with the family over Thanksgiving. Service was superb and the room was nice and clean. The front desk people were always very helpful and smiling. The restaurant was a little pricey. The hotel has walkways connecting it with a lot of local attractions which was great. Would definitely stay here again.

These is the second place I've ever 5 starred anything! It is absolutely great! The location, the convenience and the staff are great! Highly recommend!

They charged me 2 times for 1 night stay and then said he would compensate me and give me a complimentary night in the near future but never heard back after i emailed numerous times. And it took weeks for them to refund the extra night they charged my card for. Horrible experience. Probably wouldnt ever stay there again! Way over priced for the quality/ customer service i received.

The bed was very comfortable and the staff was so friendly. The waterfall shower was awesome too, and the shower gels they provided smelled so good. The bummer part was that for $200, breakfast was not included. I guess I should have expected that though.

The room was extremely nice, but was curiously lacking a microwave. Also, there were several items placed around the room that had only a small note on them indicating that if we used them it would cost money. It made it a little hard to comfotably use the room because we coildn't quite be sure we woukdn't be charged for things. That said, the staff was exremely nice, and the facilities (stores, pool, exercise facility) were similarly very high-end. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would be happy to return!

My husband, daughter & I stayed here September 30th. We found within hours after checking out that we left a shopping bag with wrapped gifts from one of the local stores there in the crown Center. I called to inform them and was told they would call me back. After waiting, calling, being promised an answer, I finally gave up. I hope the maid/maids enjoy our carefully picked out Christmas gifts we had purchased that day.

We have traveled extensively all over the world and have never had anything stolen until staying at the Westin. So when making a reservation, keep this in mind. We assumed this calibur of Hotel would have taken care of the situation as well. They did not.

We had a great time. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Great location that's close to all sorts of things to do. Kudos to Leo at the front desk. He was very helpful.

Beautiful modern hotel with a ton of amenities. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Pool is beautiful.

Very rude employees and very hypocritical with the mask mandate. Apparently we cant have the masks under our noses, but the workers can. Sheesh!!!!

Greats rooms and fairly accommodating however the staff doesn't seem too confident in what's going on with the remodel. I'm sure that once the remodel is complete things will be running much smoother.

Great hotel in a great location. Check out the indoor waterfall on the second floor.

Walking distance to a lot of attractions, didn't need the car once. Great place for a family weekend.

Disgusting cup on the table when I first sat down to eat breakfast this morning. NASTY. Was sitting there for 10 minutes before anyone said anything to me then the lady had an attitude when I told her about the cup

I didn't stay in the hotel itself as a guest, however if I needed a hotel it is likely I would stay there. The scenery was very nice, it was clean, it was quiet, the people who were there seemed to be well mannered and not crazy. I took my girlfriend for our anniversary around KC and the Westin's cliff face inside was something I wanted to show her and take pictures with.

Rooms are nice, comfortable beds. The staff is great, they are friendly, and very helpful.

Ate dinner at the Brasserie. The food was very good and the restaurant had a very pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress was also great and had a fun personality. Also, you have to check out the natural rock formation outside the restaurant in the lobby that they have used to make a beautiful indoor waterfall.

The lobby and meeting rooms are nice. The water feature on the second floor makes everything up there smell musty though. Allergy sufferers beware.

The entire Westin Kansas City team are friendly and welcoming. I had one issue with my in room refrigerator and it was quickly resolved. Eventhough it was late at night there was a building engineer available who quickly came to my rescue and replaced the refrigerator. The pool area is relaxing and there are many outdoor spaces to relax at. The property location is in proximity to shopping, dining, and other activities. I always have a positive experience every time I stay at this property.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Easy access to downtown Kansas City

Very nice accommodations, even though there were a few false starts on our reservation at the beginning. The shops were a blast, the bar was very friendly, and I recommend a corner room for the view.

Beautiful room. Great view. Comfortable bed. Expensive parking. Extremely close shopping. Most of the staff friendly.

Great location with gorgeous view!! Has all the perks of a typical Westin hotel. Highly recommended to stay here.

This hotel is perfect if visiting Legoland! They were very friendly and helpful. The person checking us in made sure we had a room where our 5 year old would have a view of the city. Will definitely start again.

This would be a near-perfect hotel experience with the addition of MSNBC to the TV channel line-up. Of the top three -- CNN, FOX, MSNBC -- this is the only one missing, and many frequent travelers like me would very much appreciate having this choice.

The location is absolutely fantastic, especially with the new street car. The restaurant has good food, and being connected to crown center shopping is incredible. The price was a bit steep but it was worth it for sure.

We captured some pictures around the tree. It is beautiful. I like the way they do the decorations around the hotel. It's perfect for pictures.

Nice Westin property with some quirks. I found the room to be nice by Westin standards however the lobby was very busy and loud. There was also loud music coming from across the hotel in the morning. Being next to Crown Center and Union Station was convenient, I just wish it had not been so noisy.

Walked through on our way to the train station and it looks like a nice hotel.

Attended a social meet up for an outdoor event. The conference room worked well for the check in.

Lovely hotel beautiful indoor outdoor swim in swim out pool great sauna great shopping attached to the hotel so convenient that you can just take the link over to union station to Harvey's for Brunch or go to Pier Point for a nice romantic dinner without having to drive over just a leisurely walk. Or take in a movie or the dino exhibit at union station all attached really to the hotel so nice. Also wonderful valet parking and concierge level floors with appetizers and drinks so nice

I want to come back to Kansas city just to stay in this hotel and bring my family to the crown center! The lobby is modern and beautiful, the waterfall inside is lush and calming, the rooms are gorgeous, spacious, super clean and smell great. I was recognized as a preferred guest from the moment I came in and was given the room with a great view of Kansas City. Customer service is phenomenal, food and drinks at the bar are great. I also love the fact that you can rent workout gear for $5 during your stay. What a fantastic idea!! The BED is truly heavenly!!! Crisp white sheets and multiple down comforters, plush pillows. I sighed out loud when I fell into it. I have never stayed in a Westin before and now I don't want to stay anywhere else!!!

Loved the location! Right in the midst of tons of activities for people of all ages!

I was walking around while at Crown Center. It is so gorgeous, I hope that I someday have the opportunity to stay there and see what it's like.

Room was nice and clean, bathroom not so much. Tub was dirty, odd smell I couldn t place, and the toilets looked like they belonged in a rest stop, not a $200 per night hotel room.

Was lied to twice about parking, three times if you count the clueless parking attendant who told me to not worry about scanning my card when leaving the lot.

I was specifically told that as a guest of the hotel I didn t have to pay for parking both times. Woke up to another $18 dollar charge on my card for parking. I called the hotel and was transferred twice, then spoke to someone at the front desk who told me even she has to pay for parking in the hotel lot and just paused as if that should be enough of an explanation.

Wonderful, relaxing and peaceful environment. Very comfortable accommodations and very close to the things you want to see and do in Kansas City!

Stayed at the Westin for the Folk Alliance International conference. The staff were all wonderful, the hotel is lovely, has great amenities and is very conveniently located.

It's nice and and in the middle of Kansas city. The rooms are good, I just didn't stay in it.

The staff is always accommodating. The rooms are recently remodeled and comfortable. As always, the beds are fantastic. The proximity to the shopping and eating at the Crown Center is a big plus.

Always stay here for the tree lighting ceremony every Thanksgiving. This place never disappoints.

Nice downtown hotel. It is kept clean. Perfect for work or conventions. It is connected to a small mall with a good food court. In the winter you can literally walk to a restaurant and never step in the cold. It is also connected to Union Station in Kansas City which has some fancier restaurants. It is located close to downtown. It has a great 4 star restaurant across the street.

Building seemed nice. Was only passing through to get to other places, however. Great access to food and shopping.

Its a lovely hotel with a great location. THE BEDS ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST. I LOVE THE MATRESS ! I am a local and on several occassions I have stayed at the WESTIN CROWN CENTER on my stay-cation.Contected to Union Station, shopping center, a Lego Land, Aquarium and another very nice hotel by The Link ( a covered and suspended walkway) means that when the elements dont cooperate there are still plenty of things to entertain. A streetcar runs nearby and goes throygh the entire downtown area to the River Market.Very comfortable, polite and curtious staff and plenty of things to do make it money well invested into your mental and physicsl well being
