Fiancee and I stopped in to find booking information for our wedding. No staff on call, parking was awkward and made me feel like I wasn't welcome. Overall it was overwhelming for nothing gained.

Great hotel and especially great service. Reesha (I m sure I m spelling that wrong....sorry!) went above and beyond for me. My TV was broken and as insignificant as that sounds there s not much else to do in a hotel room when on the road for business. Unluckily, the maintenance staff was swamped, so not a quick fix in site. Despite that, and with warmth and empathy Reesha quickly got me into a new room with a working TV. Once I got settled into the room she followed up to make sure I was satisfied.

Turning a negative experience into a very positive one has made me a more loyal customer and truly is the sign of a great employee. I will always stay in this hotel when I m in KC and hope managenent recognizes Reesha.

Also Heavenly beds rule!

Thanks Westin KC team.

Unbelievable! Saw a play here and did the tourist thing since I'm new to the area. Look forward to showing this place to others. Shops galore
Kid (very) friendly. Scenic in the extreme. Very clean
The designers deserve bonus points.

The "Heavenly Bed" is always a draw at any Westin, so the difference is what? The KC Westin was very clean and classy, even though its connected to a more public food court area. The staff was quick and helpful when I needed some assistance with my heating unit (my failures, not theirs), the Lobvy coffee was hot and plentiful. I cant say anything about the restraint, as it is being renovated. I always love my SPG properties!!

We stayed at the Westin the night of our wedding. ...

We stayed at the Westin the night of our wedding. My sister-in-law reserved it for us, noting that it was our wedding night when she reserved it. We were booked in a room with a shared doorway to another room. When we arrived, after midnight, there was a group of women in the adjacent room having a party and making A LOT of noise. After awhile we finally called the front desk, who said they would take care of it. Half an hour later, no change. We called the front desk, same response, same results. I finally got up and went down to the front desk, and they again told me they would deal with it. The sound level never tapered off. Eventually we were fell asleep we were so exhausted. After we got back from our honeymoon, we called them to tell them about the issues. The manager was very understanding and offered us a free night at one of their suites. Very nice. So we called them up a few months later to use the free room. We were told that the manager who promised us a free room no longer worked there, they had no record of a credit for us, and they were, under no circumstances, going to offer us a free room. Needless to say, the service we received at the Westin was absolutely appalling. Without question, it was the worst customer experience I have ever experienced.

Location and room were good, the lobby was beautiful. However the construction in the hotel was bothersome, and could wake you up early. There was no complimentary breakfast, which was a shame, but the hotel was connected to the crown center Mall, so there were dining options. Overall, a good stay

Clean and kept up but service is close to the worst I've experienced in a long time. Our room was supposed to be ready by 3:00, and at 5:15 they finally told us that it was ready and gave us our room keys to check in. After waiting in a long line to get on the elevator, we arrived at room only to find that the front desk person forgot to activate the keys. I understand that no one is perfect, but the fact that not one staff member apologized or showed the least bit of remorse has left a very sour taste in my mouth.

I was really impressed when I stayed at this hotel. It is connected to Crown Plaza, which regretfully I didn t even visit. They have a beautiful waterfall inside and an awesome gym for a hotel. Staff was always friendly and breakfast buffet was good.

Supposed to be a king bed newly renovated room and ended up with old room not newly renovated in my opinion and two queen beds I was promptly told that there were no King beds left. I made the reservation months ago having a king bed should not have been an issue Marriott properties have gone downhill. I will not be staying at a Marriott property in the future and I recommend that you do not stay then either

An outstanding modern hotel, great service on every level, excellent city views from rooms, and perfect central location for exploring Kansas City. This definitely feels like a luxury hotel in every way possible. Rooms are clean and spacious. Have stayed here several times and will be returning.

The amenities are nice (pool, restaurants, and shopping center) but it shouldn t be so high priced! We paid $400+ for 2 nights and the room didn t have a microwave, they try to make you pay for WiFi but if you catch a nice front desk lady she will tell you the access code is AIRLINE20 . Also for that high price , we found a HUGE cockroach in our bathroom!...the shower is nice though..

The venues here are very nice. I've attended a superb formal dinner in their ballroom, as well as visited many of the shops in the hotel as well as crown center. The link makes it easy to visit all of the local attractions. The features like their lobby, indoor fountain and garden, and glass city-view elevators are great to visit as tourists or with kids.

The Westin brand does not disappoint - this property is ground-zero for the Crown Center complex in Kansas City, which provides more than adequate shopping and dining opportunities. A network of sky-walks provides access to the nearby Union Station too, keeping you safe and comfortable while you explore the area. The rooms are well-appointed and maintained, I will stay here again.

This is not a new hotel but you wouldn't really know that. The atmosphere is classy and inviting. The staff are polite and helpful and you have ready access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. There is also skywalk access to Union Station. There space is architecturally intriguing as well. The foundation rests on the natural limestone and shale exposed during construction. An area of exposed stone, rising 5 stories, is Incorporated into a beautiful man-made waterfall and curated natural garden. This hotel is beautiful and strategically connected to downtown KC, it's natural appeal, and inviting list of fun activities.

I've stayed at the Crown Center Westin once every six months for the past few years and have never been disappointed. It is an older property but is well maintained. Ask for a room on the north side for a great view of downtown KC. Several restaurants are connected to the hotel, and a Panera is across the street.

I visited the hotel for a conference, so no interaction with hotel staff or room information, but conference/ballrooms were beautiful and the hotel lobby was clean and pleasing to the eyes. Looks like a classy place!

Pretty nice, but the little things ate at me a bit. Was promised a city view, newspaper, and microwave; none of which materialized. There's also no communication at all about how to call the front desk, how to checkout when using the parking, how to get to the pool or gym, etc. Why they don't have a book like every other hotel is beyond me. These things aren't extravagant and should be included with a $250 room.

Very clean rooms, amazing view. Parking is a bit linites, would recommend paying the extra for valet. Overall, we enjoyed this trip and would recommend it of you have children, as you can access a variety of areas near the hotel without having to brave the elements the
to the Skywalk system.
