Western Village Inn & Casino Reviews

The customer base is very wide, the wait times to eat can be really rediculous and forced like they want the excuse that you wait and gamble from boredom. Overall I don't really enjoy my visits.

Food was great but had to wait over 1 and a half to be seated....

The avocado tuna sandwich(s) are very tasty, I would recommend.

"Side joke" with no sand & without the wich.

Rooms were in disrepair with cracked flooring, peeling wallpaper, etc. Very strong chemical smell from cleaning.

Kinda old, but well kept up and clean. More of a local spot than anything

The rooms were clean and staff friendly. Had to use the wifi to zoom two meetings and had no issue. Lots of parking. Enjoyed a complimentary drink after checking in. Got up early and went for jog around the lake...really nice way to start morning.

Good food, good music, loose machines, and friendly awesome cocktail waitresses!!!

They have great breakfast here. Get the whole hog!

The inside is clean and smoke free but, always crowded and parking is challenging.

Nice and Clean. My Only complaint is the TV service wasn't working right. There's only 4 channels that would come in...

Wow. Never judge a book by it's cover! Don't let the dark and semi out of date appearance outside steer you away. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. We ate at the steakhouse and we're beyond impressed. The staff was so super friendly and attentive. We never were looking for them or went without. They had our glasses full and the food was continuous. Our servers (Angelina and Aliana) were a great pair. They answered all of our questions and we're so pleasant. It's no surprise they're booked out for the next month, we tried!

One of the eateries in this casino and hotel is the Marina Cafe. They serve the kind of entrees you would expect from a cafe, but the portions are sizeable enough to satisfy a big appetite. Add on that the variety is very good, you can safely bring an entire family and feed the hungry and or finicky throng and have a bill that doesn't break the bank.

Nice variety of slots and table games. Several dining options are available and accomodate almost any budget. Cocktail waitresses are propmt and very friendly....it doesnt hurt that they are all very attractive as well! I highly recommend ordering a "Chocolate Banana" from your cocktail waitress- they make probably THE BEST chococlate banana in town!The sports book is small but has a great bar/lounge area and every variety of sports displayed on their giant wall of flatscreens. The hotel offers very comparable rates beginning around $50 a night. CC or cash deposit required to rent a room and is generally refunded within a weeks time. The only downfall with this casino is that for all the comps you can earn using your player's card offering dinning in one of their restaurants and entries into various weekly/monthly drawings- from my knowledge and experience this casino (as well as the Peppermill, their sister resort/casino) does NOT Offer any type of freeplay incentives based on your gaming. In a nutshell no matter how much of your paycheck or refinanced mortgage you spend in their casino, You Won't be givien any credits or freeplay to continue gambling in their establishment.
*Note this is just my personal experience and knowlege- perhaps I just havent lost enough money or played enough in the casino to warrant being given any freeplay. Inquire at player's services to verify if my opinion or observations are indeed correct.

This place has a great selection of games and is definitely a place to come lose yourself in some fun

Ate at poncho and Willies. Chips and salsa was good. Got something called a machete which is a giant margarita, for 3 bucks! It was tasty, but didn't have much alcohol.

Nice rooms with reasonable prices when you book online. The hotel is quiet and in a good location right next to the sparks marina.

Great deals at this smaller hotel/casino. Really good free drinks while gambling. Good prices at the bar. We love Pancho and Willy's for Mexican food. Prices are good with huge portions.

With the exception of the waiter, waitress, I don't think the employees are friendly

This is a really nice hotel. Im enjoying my stay. The rooms are very nice and clean. Almsot every casino fees are like over $20 but this one is less then $5. Great location and its so close to the mall.

It's close to shopping. The marina is right there ..The children love playing in the Park

Not actually hate it was miserable though, there was so much noise and yelling and screaming and traffic in the hallway at up to three 3:30 in the morning it was absolutely insane we will never stay there again.

I never win at Western Village and it's almost impossible to get a cocktail waitress.

It looked an awful lot like The Peppermill in there...

Fantastic atmosphere! Worth every penny. Best lamb I have put my lips to. My bacon wrapped scallops were cooked to perfection! I couldn't be more happy with my experience here! Top notch!

Ok, nothing special. Food is over priced. ORDERED steak & eggs hashbrown plate with 1 waffle on the side & 2cups of coffee for breakfast. It was $27.00+. Just saying I work hard like most people do & don't throw my $$ away. Breakfast was bad service wasn't there. I'm more than willing to pay for good food & service this place plan on throwing your $$ away. I gave them a second chance which was worse than the 1st, there will be no 3rd.
Thanks & plenty of other places that will cook & provide you with service. This place FAILS repeatedly.

Went to the coffee shop and got the hidden gem there: two gloriously large, thick, juicy, tender, perfectly cooked prime ribs, complete with fixings. This was enough to feed four of us and have enough for leftovers. The best part was that, thanks to player rewards, it was buy one, get one free. Stupidly good value! The server was nice, and the food was quick. We got pecan pie gelato at the pizza stand afterwards, and while it didn't taste very pecan pie-like, it was still pretty tasty.

Western Village. Is a fair place to drink, gamble, party, talk to friend's just hang out.

If you want to eat and/or gamble in Reno, this is the place to be. Pancho and Willie's is the best place to eat, and you can't beat $2 single deck Blackjack, lots of penny slots, and $1 craps. Go there!

Best ultimate nachos in town. In 1984 they only cost $3.75 today they are only $8.75. it's the perfect snack for two people

Cool little casino right next to the truck stop. Slots aren't loose but they are a good bit better than the TA next door. They have table games and three really good restaurants too. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

5 stars for us. Just as you walk into your room, your senses are met with the most wonderfully sweet fresh smell. It gets better from there. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone, without hesitation!

This is a smaller casino but you will find a variety of slots and some table games. If you like the interior of the Peppermill then you will feel right at home. I haven't eaten at the restaurants but hear they have decent food.

Immaculate room with blossoming dogwood tree in the window, over looking the lake, but the shower is 10 + years old.

this place sucks. room was filthy and dark. radio was stolen in their parking lot, security was useless. avoid this place like the plague.

I started there for 4 days it's been fun I'm going to stay there again in June for my next home time

If you get a room on the second floor then bring some ear plugs. EVERY time someone walks or moves the floor Squeaks!!! Poorly designed building. Hopefully they will have a room on the top floor or I will be leaving. Maybe change my rating too.

I love the steak house , we always go on our birthdays get steak Diane, mushrooms, great customer service, always treated like Queens we in joy going every year wish we could go more offen , they used have birthday gift card sent out on your birthday's but they stopped that, the gaming is also great,,need to bring back the birthday card sent in mail for a free dinner or lunch

I like the food at western village, coffee shop wings & terminator burger are good! also Pancho Willey Mexican restaurant is real good ; and prices are reasonable!
