Western Village Inn & Casino Reviews

The rooms are old but have been remodeled. And the rooms are very clean. Our family ate at the Cafe Belini. My Father was happy with the large portions and the great prices. Our server cut the terminator burger in half for my Mother to share. Overall, my elderly parents enjoyed their stay at the Western Village.

Love the restaurants in there and also casino is very clean

The gambling is not good - No jackpots or decent winnings - the food restaurant Primos was bad - I ordered chicken nachos and all the tortilla chips were soggy - not a good place to go to

Kicked around for a couple hours just to check things out. Hadn't been there since 2012 according to the players club. Overall on par with how I remember it so, looks like Reno/Sparks has done better at survival than Vegas, Primm, Jean and Mesquite. Still, after a couple of free beers I wondered out to explore elsewhere. Ok for a quick visit.

Sad 2 be in the the 1st floor with All the Barking Dogs. They Should Ask The People, if Their Pet' s Barks ? Our Dog is not a Barker, it was 2 hard 2 get a good night Sleep listening 2 Barking Dogs from Rooms around you .

Had to get a room at 5am and the lady that helped me out in the middle of the night was awesome! Leslie? Will always be greatful to you.Spent 3 days there and the housekeeper went beyond her duties to make what should have been a bad 9 th birthday for my grand girl into one she won't forget! You see,we have all been moving from motel to motel sense Feb of this year because a soon to be ex husband had not paid rent as agreed and one day the police just showed up and locked them out of the only home they had ever known! We have been paying for room's ever sense which has cost us all we have every week.As I said, I expected my pay the night before our stay was up,booked the room for another day and planned to pay for it the night before but,as our luck had been sense Feb,my pay didn't come.The next day I spoke with the front desk and told them we got all our change together yet we were short $14, also let them know my daughter was getting help and she would also get paid that pm. They said we had until 11:30 to pay or we had to leave. She got help but a friend's card was refused,we were told we had til 1pm to pay so my girl was transferring cash to Paypal to cover the balance. We were in line at the desk trying to figure out PayPal, and when called up was told we were out of time,the transfer was taking place yet the Manager refused to wait a few more minutes for $14!? We were not rude, caused no problem yet she called security to take us back to the room and escort us out! I have never been so humiliated in my life!! My daughter was banned from renting a room there again with no explaination?? We are locals,good people that thru no fault of our own ended up in bad circumstances.Still don't know what we did wrong?Make sure you can pay all and don't expect compassion from some people.

we ate there tonight, the manager comp. my dinner because when I stirred my salad a large piece of saran wrap was through out the salad, people sitting near us were shocked when I pulled it out and showed it to my husband, I will never eat there or recommend their casino food again

Not really affordable, maybe it's because of the 'Burning Man event/ BBQ cookout festival.

Like stepping back in time. Very dated but if you like that then this is a place for you. Clean and friendly staff.

Reasonable room rates $2 single desk 21 tables nice restaurants. Only one draw back allows smoking

My husband and I have been coming here for 28 plus years. It is my favorite steakhouse. This has always been a 5 star restaurant

Prices are reasonable, food is exquisite, service is top notch! The bananas foster is too die for. Diane the manager makes the best bananas foster (over everyone else that works there).

Very quiet and romantic setting. This is my children's favorite restaurant too. My son says that they have the best Prime Ribbon. We got here for all our special occasions. This is also our favorite casino. If you don't walk out ahead you almost always walk out even.

To whom it may concern. Regarding the valet department. They have had the best personnel working there for years and all of a sudden their has been a huge change.
I will never go to your casino again. People are being fired unfairly. The food has changed and it is not as good as it was.

I am a local and love to come to WV and have my car parked as I am disabled. I have always been treated with respect and kindness from all the valet.

I am very disappointed in the management. I will be telling others about this situation. Fair is fair. Your managers are unfair.

The rooms are very large, there is coffee machine and capsule coffee. They also leave two small bottles of complimentary water. The casino has tables to play black jack and roulette with minimum bet of $ 2, to try and play a little is very good

This place used to be a wonderful place to stay and have a good time and do some gambling since it was bought out by the Peppermill it's not some fun anymore all they consider is money money money I no payouts. I'm not a big fan of it anymore but you might enjoy it

Great rooms! Very clean and spacious with a great view of the water. Very close to the Outlet Mall and other shopping.

Long wait at cafe . TERMINATOR burger was worth the casino atmosphere .

Only stopped in for lunch however I was very impressed with service and food for such a good price.

We stayed at the hotel for the night on our way through to Flagstaff. The desk clerk was helpful and the room was large and clean. We had a nonsmoking room and it smelled ok. The casino and elevators in the building all reeked of cigarette smoke however. We arrived on Friday night and the place was busy. We called the Mexican restaurant in the casino to reserve a table but they were full for the next two hours so we ordered take out. We got two huge delicious meals for less than $20. We never gambled but we enjoyed walking around the flashy casino a bit. The room came with a complementary cocktail coupon which we used.

It's a run down little casino that looks like the ugly sister to the peppermill, but the restaurants are great!

The steak house is awesome. Getting to it through the smoky, maze like casino... Meh. Very good food and service though.

Went in ordered a wonderful dinner to go. Played while we waited for dinner walked out a winner.

Staff was extremely helpful and helped make the stay more better.

I've never been in a hotel more hospitable to pets. Water and food bowls set out, and a convenient stroll to a well maintained pet run area with light colored sand so pets won't burn their feet in the hot Nevada sun.

Cafe is a classic old school casino cafe, with totally friendly servers. And the Casino bathrooms are beautiful and clean.

The Casino is still a smoking lounge which is just nasty. My nose was running like a faucet just walking through.

Decently priced american food at Belinis. Large portions are always a plus and the staff is friendly. However, both the brown and white gravy is not that great.

It's a solid locals casino. The food pretty good and it's inexpensive. They recently updated the decor as well. It's close to the freeway and has ample parking.

Both restaurants have great food. Plenty of machines to play and the rooms are across the way.
