Had a good time at the craps table and hang in with friends. Everyone was real friendly.

Only place with keno in wendover. Love the players card perks. So much freeplay

They always had the best DJ's. I hope that comes back soon

I recently stayed at the Wendover Nugget and it was a horrible experience. They messed up our reservation and when we went to check in tried to charge us 3 times as much as we had booked our room for. They had booked the wrong room and the rate on the room we had asked for had gone up by then. They said that rate we had reserved was no longer available and would not give it to us. We thought the mistake could be resolved easily enough and asked to speak to the manager. Manager Brandon MIller was very rude and upcooperative. He couldn't fathom the idea that they had made a mistake and accused us of lying. Even though he verified the rate we said we had reserved was available the day we booked it he said he had no "proof" that we asked for that rate. Any normal person would ask for the best available rate right? I would never call and say please charge me double or better yet triple!! Anyway after going around in circles about getting the rate he told us that was the price and we could take it or go elsewhere!! I couldn't believe that this was someone who was considered a manager! I know a lot about customer service and would never speak to anyone that way. I would have loved to have gone somewhere else but at that point the other casinos were booked up so we were stuck taking it.

As far as the stay the beds in the room were not very comfortable and the light in the bathroom was very dim and flickered. There was a hole in the wall in our room. and the steak buffet was not very good. We also went to a restaurant in the casino that had us wait for 45 min for our food and didn't bring one person in our group a plate when they brought the food. After a few minutes they told us they were out of what she had ordered and she needed to pick something else. I just wonder why didn't they realize that when the order was placed 45 min prior?

I would not recommend this place. It may be slightly less expensive but they are lacking in service and common sense.

The room for the most part was decent. Sliding door to the pool area was great. The hallways and elevators were sketchy at best. Half the elevators were not functioning. Holes in the hallway carpets but no big deal. main reason for 5 stars was MARK!!! he was the greatest bar tender busting jokes and making amazing drinks. If he ever moves to another hotel bar I'll be staying at that hotel

Bathroom faucets don't work, no fridge, pillows are flat, tv remote don't work, bathroom is run down and tired and service at the front desk was somewhat rude and unbecoming of a quality resort hotel/casino

Light bulbs very dim made the room very dark.
Ice machines didn't work on the first 3 floors. Front desk was very rude and would not help EVEN when I had a toddler in the room with me.
Shower didn't look clean at all.
Asked for a handicap non smoking and didn't get either.
Glad I didn't pay for it.

Best I could give was 2 stars. The front desk personnel were not friendly. I felt like we were second class citizens that they didn't want to serve. Food is ok at best the table games are ok darker gaming floor than I like. Not coming back the suite room we rented was not cleaned to satisfaction just seemed like they put fresh towels on the racks and called it good.

Casino and layout was good however without a phone on Roblox it is a little underwhelming the beds are not that comfortable the TV wasn't working and the current runs through the window didn't work

So me and some friends went just to gamble we did not stay the night but we gambled and had fun

We arrived on Thursday evening and were assigned a room...after a very long walk to the far end of the hotel (the elevators are not conveniently placed and no instruction was given by the desk) we arrived and our room and found that it had not been clean...right down to the pee still in the toilet (in addition to the unmade beds and general room disarray). We called the desk: their solution, maybe we could stay there anyway?! We were informed that they did not think anyone was available to make up the room. We returned to the front desk and ultimately were assigned another room (BTW, at this same time there was another 'guest' demanding service and said he had been waiting over an hour). When we asked for a comp of some sort, the gal at the desk said no, because we were now 'in the right room.' ?!?We trekked back through the entire hotel to the far reaches and, low and behold, were now in the room next door to the first one. While trekking through the hallways, we notices dirt everywhere...it was obvious a vacuum had not been used for some time. We discussed reporting this to the manager and realized that the management MUST be aware of the deplorable condition of their facility as well as the totally disinterested attitude of the staff. We felt that had we read a recent on-line honest post, that we would have simply gone across the street to the Montego Bay (which appeared to be clean and well tended - we chose to go there to dine - I mean, if the condition of the hallways was any indication, I would hate to see what the kitchens looked like!). Good luck when staying in Wendover, in addition to Montego Bay, we would certainly consider the Peppermill as well. BUT never again will we stay at the Nugget.

A nice place to stay at affordable rate. They need to work on their customer service at the check-in desk. The last couple of times we have stayed here the person checking us in had an attitude.

The carpet was filthy. Holes in the walls. Noisy, even though we were on the top floor of the tower. The shower was draining slow, so you had to shower fast. I would need to get pretty desperate to return. Obviously suffering from poor management.

We had so much fun in that cadino with the dealers, we also had the best waiter "waffles" in the cafe. We stayed at montego bay but had alot more fun at the Nugget

Not to impressed with Starbucks very rude. She says Shea a manager. Was treated poorly and as if she didn't want my business. Not a memorable moment

Beds are hard. Paint peeling in bathroom. Not the best but by far not the worst. Dont know if I come back.

Gross rooms. TV didn't work. Toilet didn't flush. Air didn't work. Dirty rooms. Yes, I called the front desk. They said maintenance would be up. They never showed up. Should have slept in the car. This was our first stay here and I'm very disappointed.

Dont really like the new tight slots. What happened to the pool tables in the billiards bar? Great place to stay.

Really like playing slots here friendly & because I am on the + side of 60 the music is a little loud.

nice place, free buffet with the bus tour we were with, $7 dollar complementary gambling token, and the rooms were nice and quiet like we had asked for. but....our room was close to the casino and smelled of smoke the whole night we were there. i don't understand why we couldn't have been put further away from the smoky smell ? will book our own room next trip far away from the smoke.

Shower valve handle was broken. No little bottles of shampoo or cream rinse

Kind if run down, and the breakfast place inside is slow and the food isn't that special. Serving sizes we're small. The one thing on the menu that was exceptional was the pancakes, they were delicious. This Casino is one of the smokier ones in wendover but the slots are great. 4/5 in total for me.

For what it is, amazing. Sleeping in a border town only happens in the morning, so it s weird to get a room for the night before, but where else are you going to play poker and have more fun than this. You can run across the sky bridge and stay out of traffic, or you can run across the street back and forth across the border of Nevada and Utah, because it seems fun at the time. There s a lot of cigarette smoke, but that s kinda what you want if you re playing slots, I guess. It s far enough from Salt Lake that you re mamma won t find you, and it s close enough that you can get there for kickoff on Monday nights after work. Burn through the desert and pass Bonneville as the sun goes down and the music is blasting.

The casino is old and smells moldy. The machines do not pay out. Everything is broken. The food is terrible! Trashy!

The food at the buffet and restaurant are horrible but the hotel is fine.

More out of date than the other casinos, but not as busy.

I will never stay there again. The room looked out dated. There were water marks all over the ceiling and walls. The sink clogged the first time I turned the water on. There was no fridge, no coffer pot and my biggest problem is the $50 dollar deposit I put down on the room has never been refunded and I have talked to the front desk multiple times and they just keep reasuring me it was refunded back to my card but it's not and it's way past the time. There is never a manager available to talk to. I guess I'm going to call get gephardt from channel 2 news and see if he can help me.

Where to start!! The place is a joke!!! We use to love going there and got free rooms and meals all the time .. The machines paid good and had a blast . But this weekend we went for my wife's birthday and the room was 170.00 and wasn't worth 25.00!!! Floor had holes in it,the heater didn't work,elevator wasn't working!! Spent over 400.00 in the casino and didn't win anything!! Didn't hear of anyone else winning either!!! The buffet use to be decent but know is sucks!! Cooks have no idea how to cook half the stuff! The cafe has had half the menu taken away!! I wouldn't even give them a 1 star but it's the only way I could post!! You would think being a loyal customer for over 10 years they would contact you and make it right! But they will just probably just ignore this .

Rooms are ok no mini fridge. Security is horable to over 2 hours to get a drunk who kept picking fights on the dance floor removed. And that's after telling security along with a pit boss and a floor manager.

When we arrived we had to get a new card from the other casinos but the payout is still amazing and you still get great food and drinks.

It smells horrible compared to other casinos. The dealers are not very nice and they had very few tables open. It is very dirty there.

Room was ok. Not great, not bad. I would stay again but it was nything special.

The staff was great. But the food was terrible. We went to the buffet and it was way over priced for the quality that it was.

Wendover is always a fun place to do a little gambling

We made a reservation for a king suite at the nugget for the 3rd of July, online. Having never stayed there before -We, for the most part, liked the room, even though we were put clear in a back corner and the wall paper was peeling off of the walls in a couple of spots and there was damage to a couple of walls, and there was a drunk outside our room yelling at 1 am - the bed was comfortable. We spend time at the nugget each time we go out and have breakfast at their restaurant. Other than the issues above, we had a good time.

Love the DJ and club nights back in the sport's book. The pool party is off the chain!

Rooms were cold. Couldn't get the heat to work. Lampshades missing, and not very clean.

The interior was inviting and nice and air conditioned. The dealers at the craps table helped teach my friends GF to play and were awesome.

To many people smoking in the nonsmoking rooms and elevators

Nice but old. Pays out so much more than
Montego Bay, Rainbow, Peppermill. So I guess if you want luchuryish then stay at one of the 3 but play at the Nugget or Red Garter.

When we first check in there was 2 separate people complaining about things going missing so that was our first turn off. Then we discovered the tv looses signal within the first 10 mins of being on. The room was ok but very dark and the lights were broken so they were a pain to turn on. The only thing i really liked was it had a big tub. As for the casino it could use some up grading with the carpet and a better buffet( do not go to thier buffet at all cost!) Beds were comfy and it looked clean.

Cheap, you get what you pay for, neighbors several other resorts. Rooms have ac units, decent beds, shower and sink, television set, and mediocre lighting.

Clean and friendly service. The dealers and bar staff are terrific and helpful. Convenient parking and accommodations, with options to eat and drink.

I really wanted to learn blackjack but the tables were taken I got lucky and one table was open she taught me enough to play and was super friendly and patient. I would go back just because of her customer service.

I reserved a two-night free-stay at the Wendover Nugget Hotel Casino (Dec. 5th and 6th) with a confirmation number provided securing my scheduled stay prior to leaving my house in Clearfield, Utah. When I went to check in I was told I had to go to guest services to get a voucher, although my reservation was confirmed over the phone. Guest services informed me that I did not have any free stay. They even accused me of already using it, as if I was being dishonest. The notice I had with me was from last year but I was approved for this year due to the confirmation I recieved by calling in first.
They acted as if I didn't speak to the right people. I said that is the phone number they provide and asked if any other phone number is provided for the consumer to call. They said no there was not. As I told them, this is a violation on their end because my stay was confirmed regardless of how they operate and whether or not the notice I had with me was from another year or not. If I was not allotted the free-stay applying to this year, then why was I approved for the two-night free stay per confirmation provided when I made the reservation? No type of compensation or accommodations were offered on their behalf, as if they were not accountable for what their services promised to provide me.
Ironically, the 'free-stay' had to be cancelled, which I did after this dispute on Thursaday December 5th. I thereafter left and returned to Clearfield.

Apparently it's cool to pay out 1/4 of what the machine says. Just left, never to return which is too bad because I hit wendover pretty often.

3 blue 7's on 2nd credit = 160 credits
Was paid 40 and told by the staff the third blue 7 was green. It wasn't.

I'm out, there's nicer hotels and casinos that actually pay out within a 1 mile stretch of road. They also seem to care more about repeat customers further down the road as well.

Always go to much fun just loose 90 percent of the time

Although Rooms have been "updated", they are still old..needs lots of renovation.. especially for prices charged for room rates! I will say the bed and Jacuzzi tub in room was really nice.
There is No fridge or microwave! No coffee pots in room.
We were told pool was open/functional but when we went to pool they were closed the whole day for cleaning.Not happy with that!
We enjoyed the casino..had a little luck and we had fun!

Best casino in Wendover because it has a dance floor.

My husband and I had reservations yesterday which was a Sunday for 3PM. We arrived at 3:15 to be told our room wasn't ready. They then gave us our coupon, two for one buffet if you reserved your room on line and acted like it was a gift for the rooms not being ready. We weren't ready to eat yet and went and sat at the Keno station and waited until 4pm. We got our room keys and went up and no towels in the room. House keeping showed up with the towels pretty much right after we arrived. We then noticed that the TV only faced the jacuzzi...You couldn't see the TV from the bed at all. No arm, no swivel, just flush to the wall. I called down and the person I spoke with said we would be placed in the same area and all the rooms in that area were the same layout. It's Sunday night...The casino was empty. They can't possibly tell me that there were no other rooms available except for where we were already. Needless to say I was very irritated. We decided to pull the mattress off the bed and put it on the floor where we could watch television after our evening of dinner and gambling. We definitely will be staying in a different casino next time. It's a shame when a lazy desk person can lie to you and ruin your overnight get away as far as to Never wanting to stay there again. I would suggest to management to put your TV's on arm mounts and re train your front desk to smile..It was noticed not a single smile...And to not lie.

Right when I was checking in I should have known not to stay here. As we were checking in the desk phone rang twice with complaints about the heater not working in one room and maintenance needed in the other. I was then informed that when making your reservation online through them is not a grantee that they will keep the room for you if you arrive after check in time begins. We put our bags in the room and went out for the evening. Upon returning we realized the lamps and heater didn't work and there was no ashtray in a smoking room. When we called the front desk we were told that they couldn't do anything about it until 8 the next morning cause they have no maintenance crew during the night and if we needed an ashtray go down to the casino and grab one. They decided they could send someone with a light bulb only to figure out that the lamp was broken. The next mourning we were abruptly woken due to the guests next door banging on the door and yelling for the other one to let him in. I called the front desk to have someone handle the situation and it took them 45 minutes. So we had to listen to the banging and yelling for 45 min. The second night They still had not fixed the heater and the room was cold the whole night. If you have a comfy car consider your options before staying here. Back in the day I would have rated 4 stars for this place but after this last stay hell no.

Room was shabby , neeting update, probably hasn't been updated since the 70s.
Carpet was dirty with cigarette burns.
On the other hand the staff was very nice and when the fire alarm was pulled by a prankster at 10 p.m. they did their best to shut it off, but it took a half hour.

Front desk, does not seem to like their job....first of all make the guests feel welcome with a smile and how are you today. The young man who checked us in acted as though I was impossing on his time. (I was the only one there) won't go
into details.
The room was nice, can't beat the price. We were in the main hotel section. Our view on the other hand was of the roof! But it was close to the elevator as I had requested....so ok..got what I asked for. Although the room across from us was empty and did have a view of the outside..
Now the restaurant....The food was great, service good, but as we were the ony two people in the restaraunt when we ordered (one more came in as we waited) it took 45 minutes to get our food! Burgers and fries...I did not see and orders to go or room service going out...so not sure why it would take that long....we finished our meal and the gentlemen who came in after us was still waiting for his!
Overall nice place to stay and food was good if you don't mind waiting almost an hour to get it!
