This place doesn't deserve any star. Worst customer service ever. The jetted tub didn't work. Room service kept walking in on us as we were trying to get ready. Hey remodel your casino you've got the money
We went out to unwind and have fun at the casino. It was very enjoyable. The bathrooms needed some major attention though.
The Nugget is very middle of the road for me. Not great and not terrible.
Room was bug infested and when I reported it I was called a liar

Casino is nice.. golden harvest cafe service is a little slow. So they get 3 starts.
The staff at the nugget have always been courteous and the rooms very clean. The perks I get with my players card work for my needs...especially coffee.
Lots of fun. So far have been gambling for 5 hours and still up $20.00. Food is better at Montego Bay.
The rooms are ok. Up on my arrival, I noticed, the coffee machine
was no longer avalable in my room. Towels are also in short supply in the room. We went to the coffee shop for dinner, we stood a long time to be ignored,in an empty coffee shop.
We ate at the buffet, it lacks innovation. It is the worst buffet in Wendover,in comparison to the other
casino's there. Not much variety...the shrimps, where not on ice. My Opinion is.....the
Nugget shout fire the Chef, because the food is not that good,never will we eat there again,we where warned by our friends.
Had a lot of fun. The rooms in the tower could use some updating but with a better price than the other casinos it was acceptable. We are going again next weekend and staying there again.
Great Saturday night outing, and shuttle Fun Bus tours daily!

It was just a really nice place. My wife and I ended up going while drive through to get to California. I would take a trip back just to stay there.
Not a very good place to come here....employee think that they own this place and making money for who ever own this place...no cursing...it's not even a high class place...thanks for having us....never coming back here again...best wishes to to all that come here...GO TO VEGAS
A little more dingy than the other hotels, but its not as crazy as the others, but everyone is super nice and helpful. The atmosphere is great too.
Poor front desk, computers down, could not get keys to room, nothing offered for inconvenience, no fridge in room, please fix

The Nugget is a good place to take a short trip to. It's got nice Suites with jacuzzi's. The slots are great. The food is awesome and I really like the live music. All the way around a pretty good stay for the buck.
Elevator did not work, had to walk up the stairs to the skywalk.
The steak house is great quality dinning! The lobster tail was to die for, it's a must when you visit!!

I stay at the Wendover Nugget nearly once a month. It's a no-hassle check-in with clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms. The house buffet is delicious and bountiful! And with Starbucks convenient to the lobby and casino, it's a no-brainer why I stay at the Nugget.
Very nice place to stay, staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the comps and promotions make it just that much better, I will return.
The Nugget is what you should expect to get quality wise in wendover, I leave that up to you to figure out what that means.

I love this place. The drinks aren't all watered down like other places. The atmosphere is chill and later back. I enjoy the progressive machines in the front.
Hotel is ok, but not great. The hotel rooms have no coffee machines, ironing board or refrigerator. Kinda sucks

I have been to wendover several times. This is the best hotel out there, the rooms are very nice. the casino is great and the service is ok.
I really enjoy the stay there. Just wish they can make some upgrade to the place thats all.
Horrible Buffet, machines not maintained at all. We paid a fortune for the buffet to find very little selection, and almost everything had sat so long that it was dried out and brown on top. The pasta had sat in the water so long it was mushy and everything was lukewarm when it should have been cold or hot. Finished eating before someone came around, and when she asked how everything was, I didn't get a word out before she left. Serious health code violations for temperature for sure. The slots were fun, but half of the lights for the buttons on just about every machine were burned out, it was obvious they don't put much into maintaining them, and as it's their 'bread and butter', you'd think they'd pay better attention. Certainly the last casino I'll go to when in Wendover. Do yourself a favor and don't give this place the business until they get their act together.
Alwaus liked the nugget until the last 2 times i stayed there my phone was stolen both times wont be hanging out there anymore

One of my favorite places for some me time on a Keno machine! There's a STARBUCKS , Restaurants, authentic tacos, a dance floor, Bars upstairs& down.I love the gift shop! Rooms come with coupons or vouchers to spend in the Casino!Nice clean rooms ..
Currently staying here, the water in the shower/bathtub area took 15 minutes to warm up. The toilet seems a bit clogged. The thermostat doesn't heat up the room and only blows cold air. I absolutely love the casino part of it!. Sadly I am just not very impressed. Pillows are lumpy but the mattress is fine! I'm not one to write a negative review but I thought I should this time. On a positive note the bathtub is nice and roomy!
This place has so much potential to be the crown of the town. I would really like to see this property become what is should/could be. However, the building is aging and does not appear to be kept up as it should be.
The casino has a lot to offer and is a pleasure to be in. The restaurants have good food, but very slow service. The hotel needs a serious face lift and be updated.
A few of the items are; hall carpets are not vacuumed regularly, the wall paper is pealing off several walls (rooms and halls), the faucets (sink and shower) are old and worn, the drapes need to be replaced. Full sized pillows would be a plus.
Our room had a hole cut in the floor drain of the shower and was not smoothed off, thus leaving a danger to anyone that stepped on it
New mattresses would be nice.

We have stayed here a few times and has always been a pretty good experience. The only problem we have ever had is we ordered a non smoking room that smelled a little like smoke because we were by the bridge. I would suggest staying here but if you prefer non smoking not on this floor.
Everything in the casino was great. Nice seats by the slots and tables. The food and drinks where great. The hotel room was descent was missing a door handle from the bathroom. But over all it was OK.
Not the splashy appointments as seen in the newly remodeled casinos in Wendover, but still a good place to score a nice jackpot. Their Freeplay is more generous and remodeled guest rooms are quiet and comfortable. Now if they could raise the buffet quality and continue to improve the ambience - like the background music and lighter colors in dark places - we have a great place to visit and win in. I am your faithful customer and appreciate the gaming experience.
Rooms were clean and looked nice! The rooms had some issues though
I've been to the Nugget a few times, usually taking the Utah Trailways "fun bus" I like the Trailways bus because you can drink alcohol in the way there. The Nugget provides busgoers a coupon book with $5, free buffet, free Starbucks drink, two cocktails. The Nugget has a fun dance floor by the sports booking/bar, usually finding some crazy drunk dancers, always entertaining! The Nugget is where to go to feel like home.
Best hotel in Wendover in my opinion, by far the cleanest, least gaudy, best food, and nicest rooms. A little pricey but if you want a nice hotel, it's worth it.
I will never stay at the golden nugget in wendover again. I got the sweet with a balcony and the slider door is bolted from the inside and the outside. I could not watch TV from my bed because the TV is on the left side at the end of the bed. Not only could we not watch TV but we had to put the matress on the floor because the box springs were broken in the middle so the bed caved in. There were no covers on the outlets. Air conditioning unit did not work. We had a jetted tub and only half the Jets worked. It was mine and my husband's 17 year anniversary and this place is a true dive. So unhappy. When I complained to the manager he said there was nothing they could do. He could switch me rooms but I could not get a Jacuzzi. They gave us coupons for there buffet 2 for 1 price and we still had to pay $30 a person to eat. Never again will I stay here. Or eat here.
we paid for a suite, the sliding door to the patio was screwed shut, with empty beer bottles on the outside. The carpet was pulling up, there were hairs in the Jacuzzi, the sheets had holes in them, the outlets were not attached to the walls. Overall I paid for the most expensive room in Wendover I ever have and had a very sad experience, the make matters worse this was my birthday weekend.:(
Worst hotel experience ever. Expensive room. Peeling paint on the walls, scuff marks and scratches on the door, chipped headboard and the front desk staff was a bunch of kids with zero customer service skills. Was put on the first floor and had the pleasure of hearing drunks shouting outside my room all night long.
Will never return here. Would rather sleep in my car.
To start with I booked my room almost 6 weeks in advance. I requested a non-smoking room because they smell bad and I have asthma. We show up to get checked in at a little after 3 pm and what do we get? You guessed it, a smoking room! We More
Nice room. Staff was good. Cafe was fine. Good gambling options. Close to other casinos and concert hall. Shuttle service to other properties is a nice touch. Wish there were mini-fridges available.

Stopped for Starbucks. Walked through the casino to get to it. Typical smoky casino floor with slots and game tables. Got a cold brew at Starbucks and lost a few $s at a slot machine on our way out.
Due for renovation. Holes in walls, paint chipping, ex. However slots are loose, staff is friendly.
One of the cleanest casinos I have been in. The restaurants have fabulous food and the prices are reasonable. All the employees were easily available and very helpful. Looking forward to my next trip.

My boyfriend and I stayed on the non smoking level of the hotel (4th floor)). When we stepped out onto the floor, after exiting the elevator, we were greeted with the most repugnant smell. It was either water damage or mold but either way it was disgusting. Luckily there was no smell in our room however there were ants. Our friends' room also had ants. Seeing as we were only there for the night we didn't make a big fuss to management but if we ever make a trip to Wendover again we will be staying elsewhere.
A bit run down and the pit boss seems to have an issue with gay men, but the only place in town for keno.
