Slots were tight but poker room is where I play here

I'm very pleased with my stay. It was a last minute decision and we were able to get a king room for $85. Room was clean, could tell there was some damage around but it wasn't terrible. Comforter was gross, too many cigarette burns to count...luckily (hopefully) everyone knows to not use these. The casino/food prices was what I expected! Overall the staff was friendly (but noticeably exhausted).

The hotel was perfect for my dad and I just to go hang out and gamble for the night. The pool was very clean and calm. The front desk let us know where our room was and when we requested a quiet corner room they gave us exactly that. The room was perfect for that "i need a place to sleep tonight" attitude. We had a great experience.

Drink were great and there's was good entertainment!

We rode to Wendover for the the MDA ride and our room had no working AC. It was so hot that my husband went outside and slept on the bike. Called the front desk and complained. Maintenance came around 1 a.m. was unable to fix the issue. Miserable stay.

All i have to say is I had a better check in at a motel 6! I get here and check into my first room, and the toilet does not work. I called for maintenance to come fix it. 5 minutes later the call me and tell me that they are switching us rooms. I get to the second room and they actually downgraded us! I went back down and they gave us a third room. When we reached the door, the keys wiuld not work. So we went down again. The fixed the keys and we finally get into a room about an hour and a half after we first checked in. Oh and now the toilet keeps running every 10 minutes! Honestly i just want to go home and just save the money that i would have spent here.

The bathtooms we're dirty. I sat at 1 slot machine, put $100 in, and it took my money but still said I had 0 credits. I pressed the service button, and waited 15 minutes- noon showed. I finally found an employee to tell them what happened, and waited another 20 minutes for the service man to arrive. A few minutes later a security guard came up and took me to the back room. The security guard stated "if I open the machine and there is no money, there's nothing I can do" making it seem like I was lying about putting a hundred dollar bill in. They finally opened the machine, and of course my money was in there. I took my bill and booked it out of there as fast as I could! Word of advice: keep track of how much money you're putting in their slots. Awful experience.

3/4 the dealers don't know what they are doing pay you out wrong most the time especially the craps dealers terrible

Nugget appears to be on a down hill slide. Alway dirty, stairs don't look to have been vacuumed in ??? Montego Bay across the sky walk is better. Clean and updated.

No cocktail servers who care to work. Standing at the bar talking amongst themselves.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was accommodating.

Friendly staff, comfy beds and beautiful atmosphere. It wasn't worth the money I sent to stay there.The air-conditioning didn't work, the elevators wouldn't work, Jacuzzi didn't work. The pool closed at 9pm and didn't open until Noon the next day. I had a patio and woke up to broken glass all over it because a room above me had broken a window. The maintenance hurried to get it cleaned up. The shower water fluctuated from ice cold to boiling hot and burnt my little boy. The curtains were old and torn. I was really disappointed!!

Broken machines, terrible customer service at the diner. Terrible food.

They've done some upgrades/improvements, but it still could use some work. Rooms aren't very nice. Wallpaper is peeling off walls and it's usually not that clean. However, it's connected to Montego Bay through the sky walk which then makes it bearable.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE RESTAURANT WITH STAFF WHO JUST WANT TO GET OUT OF THERE, DO NOT TRY THE BUFFET. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME

had a great time. love playing the tables, enjoy the complimentary drinks. would love to have the cocktail waitresses come around a little more often. It seems they come around a lot on the weekends just not so much during the weekdays. I would love to see that change a bit. I enjoy staying at the hotel the beds are quite comfortable. I love that in the summer you can spend time at the pool and spas. I wish you were able to use an indoor pool during the winter months. enjoy the rooms with your personal jacuzzi they are very roomy the tubs are quite large enough to fit two larger adults in them comfortable. Great stay.

Absolute WORST HOTEL I've ever stayed at... where should I start... first off our drapes as well as our bedding had holes and tears in them. The box spring (which was exposed with no covering sheet) had nasty brown stains on it. Pillows were beyond lumpy and gave zero support, the bed might as well have been a rock. Our towel rack in the bathroom was ripped out if the wall and not replaced so we had no where to hang wet towels and the ceiling in the shower was peeling and ripped to shreds. The shampoo and conditioner they left was half full, meaning it was the one some other guest used! Carpet was COVERED in disgusting stains, and lighting was dingy and almost non existent. Also had stains on all the walls and wall paper was peeling off everywhere. The whole hotel was gross not just our room dirty carpets, stained walls, trash all over...

Only reason we stayed here was bc we received a discount through my husbands scuba company but it was the WORST mistake.. I will never set foot in this place again... don't waste your money you will be disgusted!!

Always have a great time but this time they were out of vanilla ice cream and could not get my usual sunday

Booked a room and as soon as I went into the bathroom there was a cockroach. I put the bug in a cup and took it to the front desk and the manager said that its a Madagascar and theres .
nothing to worry about!! She swapped us rooms to a hirer up room, that they wont be up there because they are only close to the pool. Walked into the bathroom in the new room and there was urin in the toilet and on the floor in front of the toilet!! Horrible experience.

last time I was out there the tables were $5 min I play craps mostly and made it a point to always playing at the nugget due to the craps tables being $2 it costs a lot for me to go there and with this added cost I cant go as much.

Not a gambler, but a stopover for the night while driving cross country. The lobby was nice, checkin clerk was good, but the room and hotel in general were shabby/dirty. Water stains on the ceilings, bed were so broken down that I had to sleep on the floor in between them. Wouldnt stay there again in spite of the cheap price.

Shabby, old school. But maybe that's part of the appeal? Wallpaper falling off, black ink spills in our carpet. Looked like an exorcism took place.

We stayed in on of the tower rooms above the parking garage. It was a nice room, although to furnace/ac made loud nice all night.

We always have a great time at the nugget! The rewards card has given us so many freebies and the staff have always treated us right. They have done a great job with the covid restrictions.

I never win here and they need a new filtration system, the smoke is too much to handle

Hotel and casino bathrooms are ghetto. But you are more likely to win here than anywhere else. Do not sleep here. The rooms are disgusting.

Well, obviously we have some RAPIST MAIDS in Wendover. She's openin' your doors, she s snatchin up your clothes, tryin to rape em. So y all need to hide your kids, hide your wife, and hide your husband cause they re rapin everybody out here.

This place needs an upgrade. The carpets were faded in both the room and the hallways. The chips at the tables have clearly been in use for the last 15 years. Several of the slot machines were broken. Idk if they were being replaced or under maintenance but there were no signs giving an explanation. And on top of everything, the person I went with had bed bugs in their bed and got bitten several times. We let the front desk know on the way out and I've been told since that they've shut down the room and have it scheduled to be sprayed...so they did that, at least. I gave them two stars because the tables dealers were friendly, the cocktail waitresses were fairly quick, and the buffet wasn't bad. Having said that, do yourself a favor and spend the extra 10 bucks to stay somewhere else.

If we could give the nugget a 0 or negative star review. It would be fitting. Seriously the stains on the floor and the bed sheets were bad enough, not to mention the chair were unforgiving. We usually stay @ montego bay but thought let's try the nugget. Not a place we would recommend or stay again unless a change is made in the room service's.

Room was alright, air conditioner didn't work, neither did the heat. The hotel leaks water from the roof on every floor, if there's a chance of rain the floor will definitely be wet. Paints peeling or missing in parts of the rooms. The biggest problem was during checkout, when we made our reservation and got there we were told 301.60 for 5 nights in the middle of the week, when we went to checkout it jumped to 620.36 . I was quite upset but instead of fixing the issue or trying to. I was told "well my manager isn't here right now, you can call her later and attempt to dispute this. Needless to say the issue finally got fixed after some extremely unkind words and 3 people later, but that issue shouldn't have even occurred.

It's a typical casino...Mediocre food and lots of people smoking cigarettes

Nothing special! Whole West Wendover seams to be a little bit run down..

If you are looking for a romantic weekend getaway, this is not it. The "King Suite" is dark and dingy with threadbare towels and a constantly running toilet. If you want to adjust the shower temp you have to turn it off, change the temperature, then turn it back on. The casino is dirty and dark - a huge contrast to the bright casinos down the street. My advice - don't pay extra for the Suite, and consider going elsewhere.

Very disappointed the furniture in the restaurant was terrible uncomfortable as heck and the table spin like a top.

The room was nice. The view faced east so we got the sun. It was an amazing sight but there was no way to shut the window except utilizing two screws put into the wall to stretch the curtain, hooking it on large holes. The staff was very friendly though.

Keno staff are great and friendly, I often see them helping the elderly or folks who dont know what they are doing. Trinos tacos is fast and affordable , great meal for the price.
Sports book workers are always friendly. Rooms could be a little better but overall this and the partner casino red garter are where I spend my money in wendover.

This has to be the worst hotel casino ever. We stopped here after being on the road for 10 hours. The staff was horrid. The buffet was so bad, you would get a better meal from out of a dumpster. My hotel room was filthy dirty. The bed was busted. It was leaning so bad, you just roll off of it. Not to mention I had asked for a room with 2 queen beds. I was charged for 2 queen beds and guess what.. The beds were doubles. When I talked to the front desk, they were as helpful has hitler was to the Jewish people. When I asked to speak to the manager, she "wasn't in". I left her at least 5 messages and the loser never called back. Who ever ownes this hotel and casino should just implode it, with that worthless manager and front desk staff in it and just start over. Just go next door or across the street to a different place. Spare yourself the frustration of filthy rooms, rude and worthless staff and old food.

Elevator's out of service. Rooms not the nicest. Black mold in bathroom. Carpet missing and tack strip exposed leading into bathroom. Bathtub was still dirty. Restaurant's in the hotel are not good. My hash browns were cold. I mentioned it to the waiter and he brought out a practically raw replacement. Very little meat on the french dip sandwich. Requested a room near friends when making the reservation, but they said rooms are "pre-assigned" when I got there, even though we all made our reservations at the same time. Dance floor with friend's at night is fun though.

Spent $10 made $300 but the service was so bad and the bar tenders attitude was completely disgusting ignored me after just asking politely for a drink I do not recommend this place

Feels like the oldest casino in Wendover. Machines old and in need of repair, restrooms dirty, smells worse than any of the other casinos. Buffet half empty and lacking fresh food. Avoid the roast beef- driest and toughest I've had. Any other place in Wendover would be a better choice.

Worst hotel in loooong time. Everything It's nasty in there. When I walked in the smell just hit me. I said myself Ok let see the room. On elevator and on hallway it's gross and smells. So i opened the door and there was yea..nasty all over. Everything is old very old. I couldn't take my slippers out because the carpet was sticky and gross. This will be the first and LAST time in here.

We offer limousine overnight package deals to the Nugget best casino in Wendover hands down! The comp dollars they offer are amazing, the staff is great, buffet is the best! Bring your dancing shoes for their dance floor!

Checked in, but don't try it before 3 p.m. then showered filled up jacuzzi got in hit the button no jacuzzi went down to the front desk for a comp they said they would send up the maintenance I said you miss the moment I've already showered and tried to take a Jacuzzi for my back I don't care if it's fixed now. the cafe I came in for breakfast about 1 in the morning set there for 10 minutes no one even came to my table, if you're looking for a comp here I do not recommend it the rooms were clean the games are sufficient the buffet was okay my recommendation try and push on through to Reno

I was so disappointed in the way the manager of the hotel treated me and my husband it was supposed to be a Romantic getaway and the maids came in the room while me and my husband were asleep we went dressed it was embarrassing then the manager of the hotel called the room and told me to come check out I was so exhausted I fell back to sleep for about 30mins woke up went to the front desk and was told they were gonna charge me $175 for the next night so for 2 nights in the dirty hotel was close to $400.
I checked out they charged me 175 for a room I' didnt sleep in and the manager was very rude and I felt that they had stole my money cause I didnt authorize the hotel to charge my card it was by far the most disappointing embarrassing trip I've had ...

Had a room at the Red Garter. We toured all the casinos trying to decide where to spend our money. After walking through all the property's we decided that if we ever go back to Wendover this is the place we would stay and gamble.

Fun place to get away and the room was ok didn't expect all of the Marijuana smoke inside the hotel and inside of our room.

Love the place even though I waste all my money there I never walk away with money even if I win I put it back in the machine the machines they have little vacuum tubes that suck money out of your pocket I swear they do

Not worth the money rooms and hallways dirty, wallpaper pealing everywhere. The heater in the room did not work and the blankets were paper thin, so ended up freezing all night long. The water in the shower would not get hot. Disappointed I choose here for my wife's and my anniversary.

The rooms aren't up to date . The tv service sucks only basic channels its slow at changing the rugs are stained and the showers are small.

It s a pretty nice Casino, not my favorite one out of the Wendover Casinos but it s still great! It has an open casino area and all your favorite games including bacarrat which I don t believe is feature at the other casinos. Check it out

This was a great surprise when traveling in the RV. I'll be back here. The whole area is very RV friendly and the employees in the casinos are professional and courteous. Good job with the customer service.

Good casino if you have kiddos because they have the arcade.

This hotel is awful! We paid $120 for our room it was so outdated it has those ugly floral comforters on the bed we didn't have any hot water I called down to the front desk 3 times they kept telling me they would send maintenance up immediately well an hour later they finally decided to put us in another room this was 2 doors down outdated and ugly also the heater blew out cold air so I froze all night and an alarm clock was going off all night in the room next door so I will NEVER stay there again. We were there celebrating my 19th wedding anniversary

If you like a casino that's not too big or small then this is for you but OMG they need to switch up the music more. The same singer /songs over and over.

Staff is not outgoing. Have to approach them with questions and needs. They won't offer assistance. Has been a mediocre stay. Nothing to complain about,but nothing to praise either.

Overall they stay was comfortable. The a.c. in the suite needed to be repaired. And the card reader wasnt working at first. Both matters were resolved quickly by management.

Liked the casino and the restaurant, would likely stay there next time we travel there.
