Wegmans Food Markets Review

Sub shop tonight was a great experience with Christian creating a delicious chicken salad sub on heated ciabatta bread. Great attitude "my happiness (working at Wegmans) helps me make delicious sandwiches."

High quality food, great cookies, a little expensive with not many benefits for rewards members

Ordered a deli tray, executive. Came with ham and salami. Requested they be replaced with non pork deli meat. No extra meats were added. Just a exchange. Was charged ten dollars extra for extra meat even though no extra meat was added. Tray was not well prepared. Tomates fell off. Was not closed tight. Felt punished for beliefs that include not eating pork.

I like it, but they could come down on some of their prices for items

If you haven't experienced Wegmans, put it on your A-list!

There is absolutely no other grocery store like Wegmans!

The parking lot is Horrible! Way too congested! Very accident prone.

As far as Wegmans go, this one is quite cramped and lacks the selection of the other stores... Definitely not my favorite

The store is easier to navigate than the Pittsford location but with obviously less selection. Not a fan of the self check out, there's almost ALWAYS an issue that involves waiting for someone to help you.

Even after the remodel it's still not my favorite wegmans. Kind of cramped and the parking sucks if it's busy. Still it's wegmans and everything else is awesome

Wonderful business great food some of the foods a little pricey but they are all ways the top of line and so fresh and as they say good things cost money

I love going to Wegmans. They tend to have a variety of stuff to cook and decorate your home. If you're feeling like making a international plate of food go there for they will have the ingredients you will need all in one place

Small enough, but reasonable selection. It's a pretty standard small Wegmans.

Great Experence! Very helpful staff and easy to navigate

I like all the new changes, only issue is the parking is terrible. Sad that police have to be there to keep people calm. I advise if you need to shop there go late or early in the morning, otherwise park in the back lot to avoid stress.

Wonderful store I wish they had more fresh meat and poultry selections for 1 person households without higher prices on those items. Example a loaf of their bread is 5 dollars but if you buy 1/2 loaf it's 3 dollars

I went to get a sub the best sub's at Wegmans and did some shopping the price is right.

Parking is a bit tight. But that's the only negative thing you can say about an incredible grocery store and dining experience. I always have a great selection of products and everything is very nice quality at extraordinarily competitive prices. The food in the restaurants is also excellent and you can walk in and pick up a quick lunch or dinner at there hot food bars or Pizzeria or whatever and go away quite satisfied.

Okay, I love Wegmans as a whole. The meat is fresh, the fruit is fresh. They get alot of local produce.it's clean. It's completely accessible. Someone will even shop with you for accessibility reasons if you call ahead. They will take your bags to your car. For the items I buy they cost less than Tops. At East Ave the have small sizes and single packaged items. The staff is helpful and courteous. I do have a few issues. 1) Slowly there is an increase of Wegmans brand while other brand disappear. I like a choice. When this happens the label indicates it was packaged in Rochester but doesn't tell me where the product originates. 2) They redid the East Ave store to make it bigger but put that restaurant in it and took up valuable space. They have so many displays in the aisles and near the registers it's hard to get around. 3) And the parking! Thank goodness they have employees park underneath but why didn't they put more underground parking. Who's paying the City of Rochester police to direct traffic in the Wegmans lot?

I was born and raised in Rochester. Wegmans is literally the best supermarket in the world

I personally don't love the lay out of this store, however it is much better than the previous store and it is a Wegmans its the best grocery store in the area, of course.

Only the best quality food for me. Lately the quality of food has been going down, but at Wegmans you get fresh food and friendly service that's going to make me go back again and again. Very satisfied.

It's not as big as other Wegmans but still carries enough products to satisfy the shoppers.

Wegmans is always 12 out of 10 or 7 stars out of 5...they are always voted the best for a reason.. They ARE the best! Very customer oriented and they hire employees that embody that mission statement as well. Highly recommend Wegmans!

The only store in the city. It has all the wonders that make Wegmans one of the best grocery stores on the planet. The tricky part is parking. Early in the morning or late at night provides a better parking experience.

In my opinion, this is the worst Wegmans location by far. It's truly a shame that it's the closest one to the downtown area.
The parking lot is atrocious. The produce department is a claustrophobe's nightmare. The aisles are a game of chicken. It is impossible to have an easy shopping trip without frustration in this store. If you misplace a coupon (or your peace of mind) while shopping, good luck finding it - you won't. It is also not uncommon for the app to show something as in-stock despite the store itself not having it.

Wegmans is an awesome place to shop. Have everything u need and more. Love it!!

Always great. Huge selection of cold and hot foods. Large grocery selection. Amazing baked goods

This isn't the biggest Wegmans in Rochester, but it my favorite. It's well laid out, shelves are always well stacked and the employees are very friendly and welcoming. I've also never had to wait in line that long, even during.busy periods.

The produce is always top-notch, and so is everything else.

There are much better Wegmans. Customer service is nice and helpful. Many cashiers aren't friendly here though and they never ask if you want paper bags.

Wegmans on East ave, busy yet has alot of things the other stores may not, very good gluten free section, as well as a really nice international isle, though if you go there during rush hour or on the weekends, expect to have to dodge and weave through traffic and people.

More expensive than tops or Walmart but excellent customer service

Great selection; can be quite crowded especially at busy times. Desperately in need of a self-checkout option because this is a common location for small purchases.

Great Wegmans. Smaller than most but they make great use of the space.

The first place that the jockey takes your trailer to the dock to keep the road way cleared and the jockey I had the pleasure talking to gave me some good information about a place that takes care of their employees.
