Wegmans Food Markets Review

I am always very satisfied with the food items here!

This has always been my favorite Wegmans. It's smaller but offers everything that you need. It's the Wegmans experience.

Amazing customer service. Employees were very helpful. Much better than Wegmans in Pittsford.

A fantastic selection of high quality goods combined with 'fresh from the farm' produce and superb customer service makes Wegmans a place I feel good spending my dollar.

We get coffee and sometimes a muffin and go to the cafe to talk, read the New York Times or listen to an audiobook. If we go early enough, it's a quiet atmosphere. As the lunch hour approaches, it gets noisier and more crowded but still a nice atmosphere to look out the window, eat lunch & observe the variety of people that come and go. Of all the Wegmans eating areas, this is our favorite place because it is set apart from the rushing shoppers, and affords more privacy for conversation and reflection.

Well I wanted chicken noodle soup, but didn't have.i wanted a slice of pepperoni and cheese pizza didn't have

4 stars only because the parking lot is a disaster. They remodeled the store very nicely inside. If you want to avoid the craziness in the parking lot, my suggestion would be to use the tiny back lot and walk up to the store.

This has been my almost daily lunch spot for the past year because of its proximity to my work. They have the sub and pizza shop with different buffets - hot (Chinese, homestyle, wings etc.) and cold (salads) that rotate slightly each day. It can get quite busy during the lunch hour but I have always been able to find a spot to sit and enjoy my meal. This may be more difficult for groups larger than 2.

The grocery store itself is on the smaller side with tight aisles that can make it hard to maneuver. I usually save large grocery trips for a different Wegmans and only pick up a few things at a time from East Ave.

Aisles are super cramped, the choices are pretty limited especially when compared to other Wegmans, and the parking lots is atrocious!

Wegmans is simply amazing, but this Wegmans isn't as good as some of the others available. I love the wide array of bakery options, but I believe it has taken up room for regular grocery items. There are items I like to get that are available at every other Wegmans in the area, but aren't at this one. Also the aisles are a bit narrow compared to the other stores.

Wegmans is one of, if not the top, grocery store out there. There is so much to say about it. Excellent produce, amazing meats (giggity), delicious premade foods, awesome dairy selections, fabulous deli meats and cheeses, fantastic bulk foods, extensive beers and many more.

The Quality of the products sold is good not awesome and the price is high. Although I go to grocery stores that give me two to three times the value for my dollar and I know what to avoid. I still come to Wegmans for specific items that I can't find at these other places. The stores are well stocked and provide good customer service. I think it's not good that self service check out and pay stations are here. They eliminate jobs and haven't lowered any prices.

Good selection but less than other locations. Prices are steep. Pretty good customer service. Food is always fresh. Parking is a nightmare and this location's lot is dangerous to pedestrians

I always get overwhelmed shopping at this Wegmans or army the one in Pittsford. So many choices, but all of them excellent!

Selection is limited, after several attempts, including speaking to manager I was unable to acquire the block of Amish butter. I heard three different stories, it flies off the shelves, the delivery truck isn't here until this afternoon, I've put in an order but it must not have come in this shipment. I live in the neighborhood and seriously have to go to a different Wegmans for certain items. No Persil laundry soap, no lemongrass. Seriously, I've gone through the proper channels (I thought ) to request the Amish butter and after several attempts I've given up. Lard, that's what's in its spot. Lard. Employees are generally very sweet and try to be helpful. Parking is unbelievable. Hit/side swiped twice in this lot. Poor planning for sure

I love the fresh sushi, and all the prices are low.

Wegmans has been recently rated No. 1 supermarket in the country...need I say more?

Recently renovated a year and change ago. It still feels small but the reno made it a bit more friendly

You can go to price rite,and pay more for a box pizza, but Wegmans better with low prices,unbelievable.

I love wegmans. Its neither the cheapest nor the most expensive but it has style selection.and cares for its staff whos customer service are second to none.

The sub shop works very hard to make what you want. an gets everyone in and out as fast as they can.

Big, busy, and beautiful. This one is huge. Some areas get a bit tight with all of the foot traffic, but it's manageable. Very clean and updated stock.

My favorite wegmans to go to. Always clean everything is fresh and the staff are always friendly.

Can get very crowded during peak times. Make sure to go off hours.

Wegmans is one of the best grocery stores I've been to they got great fresh produce and great choices of food

Located near the Cultural Arts District of Rochester NY, it is founded and owned by the Wegmans family of Rochester. The store is packed with any kind of grocery item imagineable, including a great selection of ready made, pre-packaged and delicious "meals to go!" Newly designed and built, it is a lovely, open-market-style facility with excellent selection of high quality produce, meats, deli, flowers, pharmacy, and take-out or eat-in food. It offers something for everyone. Parking during peak hours can be challenging due to traffic congestion. Usually, security and traffic police directs traffic flow during peak times of the day.

Wouldve been 5 stars but the traffic in their parking lot is often a nightmare.

This is certainly the best grocery store in Ithaca, but there are several drawbacks. I'm especially annoyed about having to weigh and tag my own produce. And the produce area is very cramped and poorly organized. The expensive organic stuff is easy to find and the conventional produce is hard to find. The bulk area with canned and other items is spacious and empty. There are few people over there, but that's where all the space is. I don't like shopping here, but I don't have much choice. Also, very expensive.

Way better than the Wegmans it replaced, this is a super Wegmans.

Wegmans has great prices and the hot foods they sell here are the reasons why I visit for a quick meal. Also the cakes here are awesome we bought one for my partner's birthday and it was one of the best bakery cakes we bought from a grocery store. If you don't feel like cooking I would highly recommend visiting their huge deli section with so many choices to choose from. I love the general tso chicken and lo mein noodles they sell.

Every time I needed help, every person I spoke to working for Wegmans, help me but made sure that I was satisfied with the response. Awesome

I'm from the south and I thought I would miss not having a Publix or Harris Teeter here. Not anymore, Wegman's is the best grocery chain ever!

It's hard to beat the quality, cleanliness, and variety that you find at Wegman's! This store in particular is my favorite.

I liked a lot, muuuucha variety of products, impeccable, beautiful.

I have never been this Wegman's before. I had an hour or so before the Eastman Museum opened and I wanted something to eat. Wegman's deli saved the day for me. I should have bought a quarter "Danny's Favorite" but I got a half. That sandwich was loaded!! I took back to the museum's rock garden and ate while waiting for the museum to open. It was a real treat for sure. Thank's Wegman's. You're the best.

Great store, but the parking lot is too busy and at times dangerous. I give Wegman's credit for adding extra security staff to improve safety.

It's a store. Arguably overpriced. But, you are able to get everything you need. I'm.not vegan but I eat plant based and I think they have a really good selection of plant based products. Arguably overpriced but I still pay for them. They also do not have a very large kosher section and it's arguably expensive.

Love Wegmans, but this place just doesn't have enough parking and always seems so crowded. As a cyclist, this is one of the scariest places for me, and I always go late in the evenings to avoid the backup of frustrated drivers. I've had a few near misses, and twice seen pedestrians get dinged by cars backing out of spaces. Recently had leg surgery and had to use the motorized carts for a few weeks...other customers were very impatient with having to wait for a cart that fills most of the smaller aisles and takes forever to turn around. Some were nice, but a few were rude enough I decided to have friends shop for me while I recuperated, which was disappointing. Still, love the sushi and hot food bars when I do get there during peak hours...wish they had it later, especially on weekends.

I had a great experience there. The manager was needed and came quicky, and handled the problem very fast.

Wegmans is truly another great place born in Rochester.

I came in a few times. Recently and was treated pretty crappy if you ask me. Was dealing with some health issues. And I felt I was treated poorly. I had been homeless 2 months with no help. Doing it all on my own since every shelter in new York Rochester had done the same thing. I was on my last leg and DSS was denying me help. I was charged full price for food that was being thrown away. And about to expire. I felt like Wegmans was a place I could go. Since I've been coming here before I was even born. And I just personally felt discriminate against. There a holes. Costomer has no rights. Worst Wegmans I know. They treated me like garbage. I feel like there always trying to find a way to make me look like an a hole. They don't consider myself. Pretty sickning if you ask me. I didn't get good costomer service at all. My opinion. Many it's because I'm white.

Sometimes have to go to another Wegmans to get something because East Ave. does not carry it. Parking lot is a disaster. Never have had a problem with any one working.

Somethings are good, somethings are bad. So is life.
