Wegmans Food Markets Review

Not sure if our tax money is paying for the cop to be stationed there.

High quality, excellent service, reasonable prices, you should put one in Philadelphia.

This Wegmans is still small and is a bit harder to park at than most.

Amazing service and excellent choises, I've been coming to Wegmans as long as I remember and every interaction I've had there is solid and I could not recommend them enough the only thing that could be improved upon is that the parking lot can get sketchy at times

Wegmans is a staple. Very well run. Wish they carried more brands and were more environmentally friendly.

Christian in the sandwich shop is the most amazing person!!!! He always is so warm and kind. He always greets everyone with friendly smile and truly desires to provide the highest level of service. It is always a joy to see him!!!!!

A wide selection of higher end products. There a definite chance that they'll have whatever you're looking for, and if not, you can request a new product to be added. Interesting atmosphere.

Great bakery, produce and all around grocery store. This should be the standard for all grocery stores.

I really do not like this wegmans. The only reason it isn't getting a 1 star is because wegmans is a great company. This store is very small and crowded. Parking lot is a mess to the point where there is an RPD officer guiding traffic. I try and come to this store around 12am to avoid all of those issues.

Pros: Super fresh produce, a huge selection of almost anything you could ask for, huge bakery and prepared foods section, flower and deli section, reasonably priced and widely varied meats and seafood, a very reasonable international section, even an all natural and organic foods section. There's a reason it's one of Rochester's favorite grocery stores. Wegmans brand items are all of high quality with a nice price reduction if you are working on a budget.
Cons: Parking can be frustrating, when it's busy I just take the first spot I see, even if it's a hike from the door. If you are going in for more then a few items try for the off times, before noon or after 6pm. Also, if you are working on a budget you might choose to check out some of the discounted grocery stores in the area first and swing back to Wegmans for the few things you can't find anywhere else.

All that fancy remodeling they did and how grand it looks ! But inside? It looks good yes! BUT!! You'd think the isles would be more than 3 feet wide and that there'd be more selection. The prepared foods are way overpriced. When you taste it, you know why it should be exceptionally cheaper. Customer service is always at it's best however. And it is a clean establishment. Just thought it would be bigger inside with more to offer.

Wegmans is usually a five out of five but this location gets three stars. The parking lot is atrocious. They tore the entire store down a few years ago to build a new one. This location still doesn't have the selection of other wegmans and they managed to actually make the parking worse. To add insult to city tax payers there is usually an RPD officer stationed in the parking lot directing traffic. Great use of tax dollars. Normally I'm all about wegmans but they really sucked a big one on this store.

It might seem typical that I, a citizen of Rochester would claim that this is the best grocery store hands down, but it really is.

Perfect for the city residents of this area.. yes its crowded and small, but the suburb Wegmans are reserved for open space and big carts... We love our little Wegmans just as it is!

Smaller than the other store so is easier to find what you want

(Bakery-East Ave) I ordered a cake, online, from them for my husband's surprise party. The cake was really, really good and their service was impeccable. Also, I sent a a small photo of his band's logo for the cake and worried it wouldn't be large enough for them to make it work but they did. Thanks guys!

It's Wegmans! They always have what I need. They, just have everything, it seems.

A little compact for a newer Wegmans but you can hardly tell on the inside. The prepared food sections are great. The attached Italian restaurant, Amore, is excellent. A great food destination in downtown Rochester.

I VISITED AN AUNT AND UNCLE IN WILLIAMSON ALL THE WAY FROM TEXAS.....I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVED....THIS WAS BACK IN '94 AND I CAN TELL FROM THE PUCTURES ON MY PHONE IT LOOKS EVEN BETTER....ID LIKE TO SEE THEM COME TO THE LONESTAR STATE BUT WISHFUL THINKING THERE.
