No phone number to contact the support staff... One of our vendors is using them for billing. The invoices are conveniently attached to e-mail (good!) but one page invoice is always being printed on 2 pages with second page being blank.... more then that - when statement arrives it is actually does not give you an option to save as pdf file.

I've tried dozens of app to invoice and bookkeeping and this one is by far the best one I found, and it's free!!!! I do not need the paid features so I can't review about those. I've been invoicing and bookkeeping for 2 years now and even if it's not totally perfect, I'm sticking with this one. It's fairly customisable, I can export data and lots of kind of reports in pdf or for excel. I love the fact that it's cloud based, I can login from any computer. The main upgrade I'd like to see is the complete French invoicing. There's fields I can customize but not all of them so it's a bit annoying for professional credibility. Its still the least flaw I could find compare with other apps, and I didn't get complaints from customers...

I already told the client that the invoice was paid! Now it is being returned to him and I also already paid my vendors so this causes BIG problems with my business! What a Horrible Experience. I have been using Wave's payroll services for a year now and I have nothing but praise. The interface is user-friendly, clear and simple. A few issues that I have encountered have all been resolved promptly and effectively.
Looks to be a pretty decent piece of accounting software, would love to jump in and use it full time, however without the ablity to print checks to vendors, its sorta useless for small business (*and no, the payroll feature is useless to me as I use independent contractors and have over 100 of them). How hard is it to have a print check feature? Add that feature and you get 5 stars from me.
CONSUMER ALERT!!!!! This company has no phone support. They are hard to et in contact with. Do not use a company you can't get live person. I used the to process credit card and they hae yet release payment to my account. No one can be reached phone . The email support no response. I wish I never tried to use them. The use deceptive marketing practices and fake reviews lure consumers in. Don't use your be disappointed.

do not sign up for them as a payment processor they will hold funds for a month then refund to customers at times and leave you on the hook with 0 regret or explanation complete !!!CROOKS!!! its why they have no phone number listed.protect your business stay away from these guys stick to paypal or anyone other service just not WAVES.
They state you get paid quick yet going on day 3 from being paid via credit card and my bank still does not see the deposit because they never released the funds. Also overcharged. They state no fees yet charged over stated amount.
Made everything challenging particularly payroll. Free = actually not gauge you on pay roll and then don t even file with CRA so have to pay late fees to tax department. The worst! AVOID
BEWARE of these guys' bookkeeping services. My accounts were so messed up, it cost me so much more money than it should've with my accountant and a bookkeeper to fix it, and they never filed my HST on time. It's like they did no work whatsoever. Do not use their bookkeeping services!
Claim to offer 1% fee on bank transfers with no hidden fees, but fail to mention a minimum transaction amount to get that percentage anywhere in their ads.
Customer support was very adamant this was okay, and actually couldn't find the mention himself other than in a community help board. I would not recommend Wave until they advertise honestly and get more polite support.

This is the worst support team I have ever experienced. They claim they are integrated with Shoe Box when in fact it doesn't work. You cannot speak to them on the phone. They have no phone number! They take credit card and process payroll for me and I cannot even get support. You get emails back from Brittney and she simply brushes you off.

I spent 2 years imputing information. This year - 2020 - everyone is out of business so I haven't been on there since March. They deleted ALL my info. I just went on to get my 2019 info to do my taxes...and it's all gone. Also no phone number to talk to a human being ANYWHERE!!!! - Turns out I had 2 accounts and I didn't realize. Once I found the correct account all was good. Their support got back to me on Facebook within 2hrs and helped me figure it out. Phewf! (using the program itself has been very easy and practical so I'm relieved to be able to maintain my relationship with them).
Beware! For the 1st couple months, no problem then all of a sudden they started questioning my SEO transaction and held my money. They even went as far as to ask for copies of communication with my customers??? asking me to violate my customers privacy because of $5-$20 transaction? Not happening. Small businesses be warned, there are better and safer options like QuickBooks.
A warning to all (especially small business owners) WAVE is an awful and very unreliable credit card processing company!!! AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL! Not only do they support friendly fraud (i.e. chargebacks), using their service will randomly damage your credit rating because they pull your credit at their leisure. Additonally, WAVE has zero loyalty to their customers and their customer service is a complete JOKE!!! I successfully processed over $10K for my business in the few short months that I used there service... then boom! One fraudulent chargeback... and they damage my FICO score (which was a 730+ by the way) to determine if I was a credit risk, hold all of my funds that were completely unrelated to my ONE chargeback and then block my account. This company is a JOKE!!! I knew I should have ended my relationship the minute they started pulling my credit. Completely unreliable and anyone would be wasting their time using their service. It's one thing to have to deal with a fraudulent chargeback... it's another when the credit card processor is causing even more headaches and not working on your behalf. Save yourself the time and the trouble and the credit damage... find a more reputable company!!! And oh by the way... if you look at the reviews... it's CLEAR that they are using a reputation management company to boost their ratings. All of the 5-star reviews barely have actual reviews and most of the reviews don't even sound legitimate. Another reason NOT to trust a company like this. SCAM!!!!!!!!!
I hate writing bad reviews but this had to be done. Absolutely TERRIBLE service provider. I DO NOT suggest using them. After my first round of recurring and one time invoices ( I am a creative agency and digital consultant ) they flagged my account and would not release the funds until I answered a list of questions about my company that was none of their business and required me to take the time to submit authorization sheets for everyone of my clients. I have used many online processing providers and have NEVER in my 10 years of doing business been required to do. After asking multiple reps why this happened no one could give me a clear answer even after they had cleared transactions from the same customers prior. RIDICULOUS. Considering the money they make off transactions fees I would expect a phone number to call for support to handle emergency items. NOPE. You have to submit every request VIA email and wait for them to respond. Find another software company to work with. This cost me multiple clients and time that was not needed.
Horrible service. If by any chance you end up with any problem or Issues that eventually you do, It is hell of work to solve your problem, the only way to get to support croup is through the chatting method and which is mostly by system, and finally very time consuming, nerve wracking and mostly non effective.

This 100% Fraud business.They get your bank and company detail information and send the invoice with the payment request to your customer.After this they will inform you that you customer sent you payment for your Invoice but you will never received the money on your account. Then they are going to lie to you , because of the big risk (something wrong with your account) they are going to send the money back to your customer between 3-5 business day.But your client will not received this payment .Is no phone number you can call.You can chat online on there side but you will get more lies.Wave take your customer money and keep it .The only way to fight is to create the group and sue this scumbags.

I HAD A CLIENT PAY ME $788.74 CAD VIA THE WAVE APP PLATFORM. WAVE TOLD ME THE PAYMENT WAS GOING TO GO THROUGH TODAY AND COME TIME FOR THEM TO PAY THEY WANT TO ASK 21 QUESTIONS. I love the concept of wave. But their support options are awful They have online chat and and email. I can never able get my connections issues resolved. My accounts transactions worked perfectly beginning and then they lost the connection to my bank. Now I cant get some account reconnected and tracking properly. I have offered to pay for support but they do not offer a Love support option unless you need accounting help which does not resolve my connectivity issue.
After two emails and no reply, I think there is something strange about this company. There is absolutely NO way to call them. You may run thousands of $ through the service, but not contact?
A company that accepts credit cards and requires their end users to violate client confidentiality will not get our business anymore. All the sleek cool user-friendliness of the software isn't worth a lick when they hold your hard earned money and then require you to share your proprietary contracts (trade secrets) is unacceptable. Very bad way to do business.
Absolute garbage company. Of course they will accept any payment, and then proceed to tell you they will hold your money for some reason, everytime you get paid. And yea NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. SCAM COMPANY dont waste your time, they've destroyed my business.
NOT FREE. Wave charges you a fee to receive payment directly to your bank account. I don t recommend this to anyone trying to get paid the total amount of money they deserve. My employer paid me through wave apps, and they charged me $60!!! Just to receive payment. Shady !!
Horrible service. They took money right out of my bank account because a credit card holder disputed a charge after paying the invoice and receiving my products. As a mediator, they didn t fight for me and I ve been a loyal customer for a while with a credited small business. What a shame, don t ever connect your bank with Wave Accounting, and never use their credit card services.
I was disappointed when i saw the software was nice but it was not possible to translate the fields to french. Searching a little for help I saw you responded you have no plan to offer the user a way to translate the what, 6-8 fields required.. ! Second surprise: you are located in CANADA! You know we have 2 official languages! Really disappointed...
Support is absolutely horrible. They never reply unless you spam them with emails. They refunded several of my clients due to an internal error and then told me I would need to reach out to each of the clients and ask them to pay me again. I couldn t get ahold of all of the clients so I lost all that money. Wave did NOT reimburse for my losses that they had caused
I was recommended to use Waves by a friend and since then there has been no turning back. I now stated a small business and to prepare my quotations and invoices have been so much easier and better to track. I am able to customize them with my logo etc. Keeping track of invoice numbers are a thing of the past...
I can do my bookkeeping and keep track of all my transactions. I love the option to remind me when a payment is due.
I presently have 3 business names set up and I wish there was an option to not only use my primary email to send invoices.
This company is a joke, I signed up to use the invoicing and credit card processing for my business.
I gave all my business and personal information on the signup process and afterwards I was told that I can now process payments and invoices. So I then started sending almost $900 in invoices to a few of my clients, they paid them and everything was set for my funds to be sent to my business bank account within a couple of days.
Two days later I get a email stating that they can't do business with my company and that they have refunded all the invoices. Not only did I loose almost $900 in sales I also lost those customers!
Why allow someone to sign up and start processing payments when you are NOT officially approved yet?
This company is in Canada and is very shady, STAY AWAY!!!!
Wave is easy to learn and has a good support team; however, they DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO PRINT CHECKS. Therefore, there is also no check recording automation, etc.
I'm based in Spain and use Wave for invoicing. As a small business owner with clients across many verticals, I appreciate the flexibility and professionalism that Wave gives me. Simple, effective and a real time saver. Thank you, Wave!
Great program, terrible customer service - wait NO customer service!!! Took $7195 and I can not talk to anyone to have the money released! What a nightmare - I do not recommend turning on the PAY BUTTON, without confirmation they have your bank account set up!!! Thieves and Liars
Garbage Company. Took payment for $11,000 then held it for 120 Days. Now it's more than 120 Days, still haven't received it! Zero customer service, no phone number. Don't do business with them.
Would not recommend this solution to anyone. Terrible experience. Payroll processing - constant issues with something or other not working. Accounting - insufficient features provided making it not helpful for even a very small and simple business . Absolutely terrible experience with payment processing. We end up loosing the client due to the fact that clients money where held up by Wave for over a month!

Issue #1: I was a paying customer but they drastically increased their prices for wave Payroll that I had to cancel.
Issue #2: They were hiring process is unprofessional and a waste of time. They will most likely drive away good developers which makes me question if it's really that great of a place to work. I doubt I would apply again even if they were to reach out to me.
Why Can't I get a phone number to talk to a live "customer service technician" or better yet a software support person. I have multiple errors in my reports and I can't get anyone to call me. I was in a 10 person que for live chat and got dropped an 2 hours before their live chat was supposed to be closed down for the day. The lack of 24 live client support is NOT acceptable to ANY small business especially when I am the only one running the show and am out of my office all day performing MY job. This company is very elusive and I now don't trust them at all. I now have to waste more of my time finding another invoicing solution that I can trust and actually talk to. Good job on losing another client WAVE. And supposedly they were purchased by H&R Block but I doubt that completely.
I used wave for my small business. The first time I saw it I was happy with everything this company offered. We did a test run through their credit card application and it was successful. On the second payment the payment was quite large, it was for $2,500 US dollars. I received an email later that day by a guy named Eddie by wave saying action required, upon opening the email it said I needed to answer a few questions. I answered all their question on how I acquire this customer and I even told them I can send prove of business and all transaction are real customer transaction.
They email me back that they think my business is a high risk business out of their own assumptions and refunded the clients money back. Thank god the client and our company are in good relations, I was able to explain what happened. This company does not verify anything and basically sends all money back on their own will giving all your product for free. I would never record this company or any of their services to anyone. Beware of their policies.
Be very careful, they will keep charging you even months after you completely stopped using their paid services, no one there notices that they are charging someone for service that hasn t been used and they send you no notifications of those monthly charges.
When you actually notice and contact them for credit/refund, they will give you one line short response: link to their user agreement/terms of service. I will not be using their services again.
