Watergrill RSL Cronulla

Fantastic views. Good food but overpriced $30++ for pub food. Can be challenging to find a parking spot at lunchtime and/or good beach days.

For an RSL it's great, less emphasis on pokies like most RSLs. Good food and plenty of places to sit back and enjoy a beverage

So so. Ordered salmon poke thinking of one I had in Hawaii. Salmon was cooked and was and was terrible. Ocean view was great though.

Great water views, with eye watering menu prices! Food was acceptable and service good. Cronulla traffic on a hot day absolutely sucks (not the fault of RSL, but it does make it hard to get in and out of the area), so the RSL car park availability for $25 (fully redeemable credit at restaurant) is a good perk. Restaurant kid play area was decent too. But ultimately it's horses for courses if you like this sort of experience, since $26 for a chicken/beef burger with chips that taste and have been prepared no better than the average greasy spoon corner shop can be a bit rich for some (I mean c'mon if you're going to charge such exorbitant prices how hard is it to make some crinkle cut chips or at least beer batter them!)

Enjoyable had mezzes plate which was great..as was the balcony..

I ve been a member of Cronulla rsl for many years. I was there last night and sat upstairs in the newly renovated area of the club. We changed our seats 3 times! We couldn t find a comfortable seat. Whoever chose all the bamboo seats and bar stools should lose their job and chief decorator! Great view but sadly to uncomfortable to enjoy it - glad I didn t have my elderly parents with me, this is not the same club they joined 30 odd years ago!! They can t afford it!

Firstly The young English lady behind the counter should get a new job, very rude and almost turned us away from the place, but the food was fantastic. Will I go back probably not, because of the english lady. Learn to treat every customer with RESPECT as without us you don't have a job.

We celebrated my girlfriends Birthday and could not be happier ! We arrived late and the gentleman in charge was happy to accommodate us with a window table like I booked for the whole time we dined . I was able to bring a birthday cake, was provided with excellent service, nothing was too hard and was done with a smile . It was worth the hour and half travel, the views, service and food was Excellent !! Highly recommend and we will be back, please pass this on to management and the gentleman in charge of our sitting time at 5:00pm .

Beer was nice and cold and the view is good. Was disappointed with the food though - certainly not up to previous standards

Pretty expensive. Staff aren't great (not bad just not great). Food isn't that good espcially for the price there's nowhwre to park (forget their carpark, they want $25 for a non-member when you're already paying $29 for a schnitzel, forget it). The view is pretty good though.

I'm a local and you need to stay away from Rihann from the cocktail bar!! She's always mean, rude and she's never happy to be there! I asked for a drink and she gave me the wrong one and I asked her about it and she went off! the second time I went she did it again! Made the wrong drink! the third time I asked for 3 jartinis and she made 2 half with the alcohol the third with 1/4 alcohol and the rest with foam, I questions her and she knew again blew up!!! Point of the story is that avoid Rhiannon

This is a really good value and good food here with the daily specials. All the staff seem really nice as well.

A million $ view over the ocean to absolutely die for, cold beer and great food. The members parking is great pay $25 and receive $25 voucher inside

At other restaurants around Australia if you are paying separately you are given one table number so that all the food arrives at the same time. Why this restaurant does not have this computer program available leaves one wondering. In addition the couple who ordered first were served last. Not good. The waiters and bar staff were friendly and approachable.

A modern, elegant club with excellent views. Restaurant fare isn't cheap, but the setting and quality match the prices. Currently still undergoing renovations.

View is awesome food is just , mango and prawn salad excellent big portion you wanted more

As far as RSL clubs go, this one has pretty high standards, and a view of the ocean that you would normally not expect. I often drop in for lunch when I am doing sales calls in the area and its a nice hour or two for a drink and a wind down lunch

Friendly staff beautiful place to visit great view

Booked breakfast on a Sunday with friends. It was really good. Got a lovely table with the stupendous view. Food, coffee and service was lovely. Generous serves. We had from 9.00 till 11.00 which was nice with no-one hustling you. Very pleased that breakfast is available now. Have had lunch in the past which has also been a great experience.

Food is below average at best, had to join up despite asking staff if a member could sign us in. No deal had to join, wouldn't have bothered except it was an Xmas party. Won't be rushing back that's for sure, $33 fish and chips ain't for me.

Three times I have been to their restaurant and now the third time was the end for me. Had tissotto which was just slush on a plate not a bowl.. .so rich..only ate not even half of it.

The service was very good and the view is great. Food delicious and with the members discount it was worth it.

My absolute favorite place for good beef, salad, beer an the best view of the blue waters of the beach.

The RSL is taking great Care for Our Safety, we had the distance required. The bar staff Amanda and Monica are so professional and friendly. The Seafood Linguine was honestly the best I've had and it's my favourite lunch order so I've had it all over the world. Add a sunny day overlooking our beautiful area and it's outing that's hard to beat!

Beautiful food and atmosphere to go with the fabulous view

I've seen a lot of changes to the Cronulla RSL over the years, and have to say that the current menu with great food and friendly staff is the best it's been for a long time. Well worth the visit, especially for the stunning views over looking South Cronulla Beach.

Lazy table cleaning from the staff, overpriced food, and I ordered the same dish as my friend and she got 2x the meat as I did. What a joke...

I booked for Sunday breakfast with friends. Lovely table, spectacular view, lovely service and food. Very impressed as we're the friends.

All nine of us really enjoyed the lunch at WaterGrill. The service was friendly and speedy. The view is splendid and the food was nice. Personally I would not choose the open foccacia melt again. I didn't see that it comes with chips. Bread and chips is not a good combination. It was rather dry. I would suggest salad instead of chips. Otherwise everything was great! R.Scheidegger

Great venue for both food and drinks. Has a beautiful view of the beach.wven with renovations going I didn't feel that it ruined my experience. Function room is awesome and the food was on point.

Place has great views and lovely cocktails. The water grill staff at front counter are rude and not friendly. At the end of the day it is a RSL and think the prices don't really reflect the quality. If it wasn't for the views the restaurant would be bust.

FANTASTIC views of Botany Bay. Food is good, more on the pricy side. Plenty of seating, get in quick as they fill up fast. Live entertainment to set the atmosphere for Sunday afternoon beverages with friends

A nice RSL with outstanding views. Good selection of food and drink. Upstairs can be a bit noisy as sound bounces about the big open space.

We love this place - quality food, decent cocktails, great atmosphere, and awesome service. We also love Steve who is always working the floor every time we re there. He is so welcoming, always up for a chat and nothing is ever a problem for him to ensure our time there is great!

Haven't been there in years. Was surprised at all the changes. No more bistro with old favorites and reasonable prices. $6.80 for a local beer and expensive meals. Still a great view in a prime position. New management with new ideas I guess. Well if thats what the locals want. I doubt it.

Missing the snooker tables but otherwise still one of the best drinking holes in Cronulla

Awesome RSL, the best one as far as I'm concerned. Of course slightly biased as I live here, but do check it out, the view is one of a kind.
