Hotel is dated but pleasant. Hotel bar was perfect for working on my laptop. Great bartender.
Beautiful vintage hotel in a great location! Couldn't have asked for more.
The Warwick is amazing. Such a great history behind this place. Centrally located. Second time staying here for our anniversary. Very nice staff, the bar is awesome too. Highly recommend!
Cute and cozy place. I felt like I was back in time because most of the original elements are still in the hotel.
Lovely hotel, very helpful staff and great location
Great staff, lovely building, superb location, great vfm.
I love the historic charm of this 100 year-old building. Beautifully decorated rooms feature a mix of modern life amenities and old world charm. Some fixtures need updating. The staff is awesome, smiling and friendly. The hotel is reasonably quiet, especially considering the location on a busy intersection, close to midtown and Central Park.
Centrally located in the heart of midtown. Goodish rooms but clean and quiet. Free WiFi for guests in rooms and in lobby for visitors.
this is the first time I am staying at this hotel. The service is excellent. It is pouring out and the door man held an umbrella for me. I love the ambiance of the hotel it is beautiful pictures from the 1950s and other decorations which make you feel like you are living in that era. The service in the front desk is great. Our check in was at 3:00 PM but they let me check in at 11:30 am just because I was alone. The best is they have bvlgari toiletries in the room
Elegant, walking distance to shows, Central Park, shopping, dinner, Radio city etc.
Room was nice, people pleasant. Hallways old and dingy, elevators tiny, good luck getting down in morning of you're on a low floor--usually full.
The carpets through out dirty service was excellent! Then we get to the room dirty linens stained walls dirty cabinets and filth behind the stand I took plenty of pictures it needs an upgrade and new towels carpets and maids that clean properly even the towels were stained!
Great location.....Hotel could do with some refurbishing!
The hotel is located in midtown Manhattan, can't go wrong with that. The service is great and the food at the hotel restaurant is excellent.
Extremely poor; I rarely take the time to review unless my experience was extremely positive or negative. In this case the later prevails. I can rant for a half hour but I'll keep it concise. The management is sloppy. They have no clue on what customer service is about, how to hire right, or mange their staff.
Towels were stained, blood satins on the bathroom door, doorman left my luggage sitting in lobby by exit door with no hand-off to bellhop leaving me to carry it off. Once he was tipped he fled to the sidewalk since he was the only person attending to entry.
Blowdryer failed, lights came on and off throughout the night regardless of being switched off. Randolps was a bad joke. Waiter was overworked rushing to serve drinks, bus tables, and seat guests. During our 7 minute wait for seating he rushed by bussing tables and as the food flew off the plates landing inches from out feet he demonstrated his other inconsiderate and lacking skills of customer service as he ignoring us further.
You'll love this too, In addition the hotel hosts valet parking on their website under hotel amenities, but what they don't mention is that it's $45.00 per 24 hours (to the minute), and if you request your car it's another $45.00 resetting the clock. They do however tell you in that same section (hotel amenities) that they charge you for wifi.
There were several other incidents, some smaller than others, some bigger, you decide which; I received someone else's bill under my door, the maintenance guy who was called up by the front desk bc our blowdryer was malfunctioning argued about having to fix it now, but best of all the manager wouldn't show their face when requested and sent out the intern who never apologized. His response was to offer me 10% off my rate, but hey he did offer his e-mail address to insure a better experience on my next stay...NOT. Aside from that they overcharged my card by 200.00.
There are a lot of choices in the area. Don't get fooled by the name or their history. The people that run this property have no connection to the goodwill generated by those past. Consider your options carefully.
Good location, too crowded in elevators, only three. Breakfast is too expensive, no good restaurant for diner.
Wonderful. Luxury hotel from the 1930s that maintains all its charm intact.
Walking distance to Central Park and 5th.
Metro lines 5 minutes walk.
Beautiful rooms with marble bathrooms. Fabulous views of the streets of New York.
Clearly the prices are high.
But it does offer great deals.
Great location in midtown, excellent room, lot of space
Very professional and polite employees. The view from our room was great, not so far from time square. Over all great experience.
Classic hotel with beautiful views of the city. They got a good bar and restaurant on the main floor. I thought the steak was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good central location. The taxi, Lyft and Uber drivers all know it.
Not a 5 stars service, towels always missing, small room, small bathroom, insufficient bathroom sets
Nice renovation, perfect location, warm and friendly staff that make the extra effort.
Very spacious room, superbly maintained, and got it for a great price.
The Warwick is among New York hotels that have adopted the schocking practice of tacking on a hefty "resort fee" per night that it provides no notice of. Although the Warwick calls itself a four star hotel, this additional "resort fee" covers "television, internet, and local phone calls."
It is available to the hotel to just advertise the nightly cost accurately rather than go out of its way to deceive clients. I understand that Covid has had a negative impact on the tourism industry, but this is not an appropriate response. I am writing to the Consumer Affairs Department to complain but will obviously never again stay at the Warwick or recommend it to colleagues and friends.
A spectacular weekend at a great hotel. Monica in reservations, Yara on the front desk and Vlad the bellman were all above and beyond in service and friendliness. A great place!
I had a great stay at the hotel. The bed was very comfy. The room was very clean, quiet and private. Staff were friendly.
A great hotel to stay in New York. Perfect service and very comfortable rooms. Do not forget to leave a dollar for lodging in the room for waiters. Located strategically close to places of interest.
Great hotel, friendly staff and it's close to everything
This is my 2nd visit to the Warwick, NYC. I enjoy the convenience & hospitality. Rooms are clean & roomy.
Older hotel with a lot of character. Has a lot of charm but also only has three elevators which operate at a snail's pace and also had the smallest bathroom of any hotel that I've ever stayed at. Downstairs bar is cool. Rooms are a bit cave-like though (windows looking into walls and such). To be expected in Manhattan though.
This historic hotel offers a nice change from the usual big name properties. Although the elevators are small and slow, the rooms are relatively large and quiet, even our room that was near the elevator. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Free breakfast was a nice bonus, but greater daily variety in the buffet would have been appreciated.
We prefer this hotel over the Hilton across the street.
Found a roach in the bathroom the day I moved in. Elevators are tiny:if you are traveling with a family - forget to fit there all together. No coffee machine, water or slippers in the room! The worst place i have ever been. Personal is nice though.
Large and comfortable rooms. The staff is accomodating and friendly, for breakfast there is a delicious bufee and for evenings there are a bar with food. The rooms are however somewhat old.
The hotel is nice in a classic kinda way. The bathroom is way to small. The shower temp kept fluctuating between hot and cold. Even given that, the classic building is fun.
The hotel is great and everything looks clean. The breakfast was good and the waiter was friendly. The only downside is that the bathroom door is not good. Since I only stayed here for one night with the other half, this little thing is not worth mentioning.
A cute and older hotel. Visited a hotel for a trade show. It is near all the great shops like Bergdorf Goodman.
A really good quality hotel. Clean and tidy. I couldn't say anything because we couldn't eat everything in the breakfast, but the variety was very small. Boiled eggs and bread. Fruit on top. We made it like this. Very central and close to everywhere.
Terrible. $25/night "facilities fee" is BS. Rude staff (literally every staff member aside from the housekeeper was rude, inattentive, and doesn't make you feel welcome at all). Clean room, but tiny. Window looked out to a wall. Good water pressure and temp. Great housekeeping. Broken safe in the room. Booked through Hotwire and felt like we got the absolute worst of the worst in terms of treatment, room, etc. We stayed here because it was close to our show, but wow, never again. What a dismal part of NYC and this hotel is a big contribution to it. Unless you like overpaying to stay in a dirty feeling touristy Disneyland area.
Really pricey. Staff is anything but polite. Showers are not good at all. The (only) good thing about this place is location.
Was not a guest at hotel so I didn't see the| rooms but the location is great and it's a nice feeling to the place .
Very good hotel with great design and very good atmosphere
The rooms are large and well appointed. Room service literally walked in while we were changing.... Unacceptable, knock and be acknowledged.
Great bar, good stop for a quick in and out cocktail.
Located in a very good location, not far from Central Park.
We didn t use anything other than an overnight stay at this hotel, but after ten days of accommodation we received a bill for $ 280 for services that we could use - the Internet lounge, a gym, etc.
Room service and cleanliness to a very high standard.
One of my favorite hotels in midtown. Gorgeous rooms and was able to stay in a suite once - wow!!
Great location too. Close to Radio City and only a few blocks from Time Square but in a quiet safe area.
Very well located. Very comfortable rooms, but somewhat small
Excellent location. Corner suite was ample & comfortable.
I will absolutely be back to this place! I loved everything about it. I had the double room with the NY hills View and it was fantastic. It was on the 11th floor and I can view the whole city. They have valet parking and it's 41 bucks a day. The service was really good I have no complaints. It's walking distance to all kinds of restaurants in K town. The mini bar was fun too!
Great classic hotel. Our room was nice and big for a NYC hotel room. The staff are also nice.
This hotel it's going down like a meteorite.
Last time I was, 10 years ago, was ok, but yesterday night, my room was like a freezer, the February wind cold cames in into the room left me frost.
The bathroom its the same as 50 years ago, any improvement hasn't been done.
Warm water took 5 minutes to arrive to the shower. I thought that water company cut it the supply.
Breakfast really expensive $54 for a buffet, but its only my opnion.
In my opinion, the only argument that hotel has its the very good location.
But other side, the front desk personnel very kind and professional.
Rooms are a good size for working or stretching your legs, staff is friendly and professional
Comfortable.. Lacks communal areas for meeting and seating, expensive
The hotel has the makings of a large luxury hotel but it is somewhat dated. The rooms are somewhat small and it is advisable to avoid those that are near the elevator or the ice machine that makes a hellish noise, it is also preferable to avoid the lower floors both outdoors (traffic noise) and indoors (noise from fans). The best thing about the hotel is the location and the views (when there are any).
Hotel is from a bygone era and badly needs to be updated. Prime Location
Nice hotel on 6th Avenue, nice, with nice little clean rooms, a breakfast that puts you in the right position to face the day. Close to all that is good in Manhattan.
By far the most fun I have had in New York. Being from Louisiana and a firm believer in hospitality, I felt right at home. EVERYONE went above & beyond. It is also a prime location to most sights. Truely made New York worth visiting!
Decent and charming, but you would expect more in this area
Warwick is the one place you do not want to stay. Let me set the record straight, the air conditioner was not working and I was moved into a new room after TWO DAYS of being in a room that was freezing cold (they did not refund or apologize at all). The hotel is extremely run down and let me add, the service was beyond horrible. Stay in this room if you want to freeze during winter and sweat over summer. You need better customer service!
Got in very late, they gave our room away however they were very nice and gave us a suite the room was very nice. People were wonderful
Nice hotel, comfortable bed, very clean and the location is one of the best. It was a pleasure staying here.
