Walmart Super Store Mesa Arizona Reviews

Bad neighboorhood, and it's Walmart so customer service is always hit and miss. The shelves are usually stocked with what I need so I keep coming here because it's relatively convenient and close.

Workers are friendly, it is a smaller store so you may not find some things

Everytime I go for something the shelves are always empty. Ridiculous

It's tour typical Walmart, they still have greeters, and was rather clean and well laid out

Busy Wal-Mart. Pretty good selection -- better than another Wal-Mart Supercenter closer to us locally, from what I can tell. We have not encountered rude staff, just busy staff. Last night, the associate running the register at check-out was actually quite professional and efficient.

I do recommend to management that they discontinue the price-matching, though -- or to find a way of honoring price-matching online only, or provide a price-match-specific checkout aisle, while also staffing at least one other checkout aisle. I say this, because it is a royal pain to have perishable items in your cart and be behind someone at check-out who wants to price-match everything. This can put perishable items at increased risk of spoilage, which I don't appreciate.

This Wal-Mart also has a problem with beggars and solicitors in the parking lot. They seem to operate more in the afternoon and into the evening or maybe night. My husband and I have both been stopped by beggars / solicitors here, and a few of them just hung around right around a cart return. This is not a safe or convenient situation for shoppers, many of whom may not have extra disposable income to help others (and when they do, they may prefer to donate to reputable non-profits that help the poor). I do wish that the management would address this problem.

I don't mean to sound mean, but when I have perishable items in my cart or have a child in tow -- and especially when my husband is not with me -- I'm not comfortable being approached by strangers who are asking for money, or trying to sell me home-cooked meals out of their vehicle that have not been prepared in a county-licensed and monitored kitchen. I know that times are tough and that some folks may not be able to find work that easily, but I believe that store parking lots are not an appropriate venue for soliciting. Just my personal opinion.

As a shopper, I would rather be permitted to shop in peace. So, when a Wal-Mart closer to us has what I need -- which they don't always -- I prefer to go there, because I haven't yet encountered solicitors there.

Great store wide selection will find anything that you need at a great price if you find a lower price somewhere else they will match it

I love all the Walmarts because I can find all I need under one roof!

Smaller and doesn't have alot of the things you get at the bigger ones. There isnt much of a selection if you do find what you're looking for.

Clean Bathrooms! Bought some prunes instead of my usual cranberries for the first time this morning and ate the entire bag! Walmart really came in clutch with their quick and reliable customer service. The greeter told me exactly where the bathrooms were, in a quick manner too! Right in time for eruption. Prunes 0/10, Walmart Bathrooms 9/10.

Went to the nail salon there and the middle aged gentleman at the end that serviced me, DID A TERRIBLE JOB ALL AROUND!! I wanted the younger one in the 3rd seat from the front that does an excellent, detailed job and seems to take pride in his work versus barely doing enough to get paid!!!! NEVER AGAIN WITH HIM or the rushed pedicurist

Stopped here to look at some electronic stuff. Everything was either encased in security closures, or had a wired alarm around it.

No checkout clerks at all, just self serve long lines. Won't be going back.

Not the cleanest, and had a strange smell when you walked in. However one associate, not sure what his name was he was very helpful. Surprisingly becuase generally Walmart employees are not that helpful.

He seemed to be autistic, not trying to judge or be offend anyone by using that to describe him, but he was very helpful and patience. Instead of just brushing us off, he took the time to search what we were looking for. I wish more Wal-Mart employees are more patience and knowledgeable as he was.

I got sick in garden department due to lack of circulation because of all the fertilizer smells horrible !!!!!

Open 24 hours a day 365 a year except for major holidays having limited hours. Wish the stores all carried the same things. Sometimes I have to travel to several to get what's needed for my family. Great for tight budgets

Terrible service not on the same page with anything bad business

This store is so poorly staffed. One checker and not joking 10 people with full carts in line. The door associate says that Walmart is aware and they do not care that we are waiting in a long line. Because the consumer will always wait and still give their money won t we!!!! Will not likely revisit this location.

Could use some improvements but overall its a good store!

Small and pretty close Walmart to my house but, they never have any of the items other Walmart s have which is sad.

Had what i needed, but management was not helpful. Workers were great tho.

I must say that I understand the added security, but I don't understand why the ex police officers are looking at me and my girlfriend as if we don't belong on this earth. This made the experience absolutely horrible. Get in, get your stuff, and keep your eyes foward and downwards.

Dont hate walmart deli area slow service and servers had attitudes didn't care

Went in needing a tire replacement for a blowout. 5hr wait, they said I could have it mounted to a rim and it'll take 5 minutes. I took my spare rim in and they mounted it, no problems. The lady at the counter was very patient and willing to work with me. Four stars mainly because the prices for tires are a tad high, but worth it for the customer service.

The entrance and parking are poorly designed. The checkout clerk was friendly; I said hello to several employees and they just looked away.

The store is ok. The security guard was rude and disrespectful

It's not their fault, but it's always so busy and 90% of the people there think they own the place. No, it's not ok to stop in the center of an isle to answer a text when 10 people are trying to get around you. You know who you are...

Associates were in good spirits. Checkout moved well.

Deli people had a hard time understanding my meat selection

This Store had empty space on their shelves again. They lost my money! Went to Fry's. I don't know about other Wal Mart stores but mine is terrible.

This better out out two walmart on Elliott in Tempe is good two of walmart staff is avoid aj and and by Brown helpful at least try if what your looking for and you dont have wait im lines no Snow birds they dont like travel this far in mesa and a clean so and. There out all of produts like the others get in out fast

Every time I visit this location, I don't feel like a valued customer. I feel as if I'm treated as a potential third every time I shop here. They need to improve their service with a smile and stop acting like the entire world is trying to screw them over. It is definitely affecting the customer experience. It is very rare for me to shop at Walmart anymore, and that's sad because they have some great deals sometimes.

Google says 24 hour Walmart and security guard says they are closed at 11:50pm and turns a way people bad service.
