2020 Ordered on a delivery to home trial. Our driver was waiting at WalMart grocery pick up for 30 minutes. We both called the store and no one was answering the phone. Finally the order was brought out. Then we did a pick up order that went well. 1/26/20 Order for pickup delayed because, "store was busy," so we went in and it was not busy. I inquired about my order and magically it was ready.

2019 Ordered groceries while we were on our way back from a trip. Happy to say the customer service bar has been raised and we're once again pleased with the Grocery Service.

2018/early2019 After two years of being a customer of the grocery service, I have to say that it has gone severely downhill. I originally utilized the service because I have a condition that compromises my immune system and it's best to stay away from crowds especially during cold and flu season. This week, I meal planned, made a list, ordered 34 items. 7 items were not available. That meant going into another store. If I had known that would happen, I would've done my online order elsewhere.

Also, and perhaps more importantly, is that this week the clerk that brought the groceries out asked if we had reviewed the email of items that weren't available. I literally had no idea what she was talking about! She said every clerk was supposed to ask. In two years, no one has ever asked me that. The grocery order confirmation email came to my inbox but the unavailable items wasn't on the app, referred to on the app, or in my inbox; it was in SPAM and was delivered at about the same time we got notice the order was ready so we were getting ready to leave the house. I had no idea there was an email to check.

Thankfully, our account wasn't charged for the 7 unavailable items and we found them at Safeway for similar prices.

I go to Walmart frequently to shop but today I felt so unwelcomed by one of the cashier's instead of telling me she was closed she started yelling at me saying this checkouts closed she was very mean and the other day another lady just gave me attitude I'm quite uncomfortable with this.

took me over 30 minutes to try and get to a manager and nobody picked up the phone because his stupid deli department doesn't know how to take an order Walmart sandwiches. Stay away from this place at all cost

First off. I love Walmart for their prices and variety of items but their pick up grocery side needs work. I did an order and they had it ready in time. Then I saw the substitutions! I was okay with all but one (pictured) they wanted to give me less and it says they wanted me to pay more. Okay fine she takes it off. Then your program wont let me do EBT. Then I'm told I have to go to customer service to pay. They gave me a $20 gift card for the inconvenience.... but still I have icecream that I'm sure will be melted when I get home. I have other refrigerator items that I have to hope fidnt get ruined cause they sat in a car when its warm.... I appreciate the effort of compensation but for a company that has so much money you would think they have a better computer system. Also this whole thing took an hour. Last name is Thomas.

Was looking to get a mobile phone, had to wait in line to pick up the phone but that moved quicker than expected.
Most people were wearing masks and that was great as well.

If you value your time at all DO NOT GET IN-STORE PICK UP from this Walmart. Took me at least 20 minutes to get my items. I could have easily been in and out of the store within that time. Total time waster.

This is the worst Walmart in the valley in terms of check out. They never have enough registers open and only have self-checkout at one end. And it's been like this for as long as I can remember it being there.

So I emailed y'all about this and instead of giving me any sort of apology, I was told my feedback is being sent to the same management that discriminated against me for being visibly disabled. So, I'm commenting here with my same complaint I emailed your customer service, with mild grammer edits.

"Honestly the worst. I am disabled and use a cane and motor scooter. I was looking for a mini fridge. None of the employees would help me find where they were located. When I finally found one, I asked a MANAGER for help getting it to checkout and my car. Twice, he ignored me only to find him helping able bodied customers. Finally, a fellow customer helped me carry the thing to self checkout. I asked the employee there in self check out if she could find someone to help me get it to the car. She said she would. Ten minutes later, she told me the same manager I complained to her about not helping me, would come and help me. Ten more minutes later, he started walking over, saw me waiting, and turned to help another customer. But this is an embarrassing way to treat disabled people and had literally any employee or manager just helped me, I wouldn't be upset. I'm honestly hurt and from now on, will go to other brands and look into a possibile lawsuit for discrimination."

And for y'all to tell me this:
"We want you to know that your comments have been forwarded to your local Store. The team there will take action to ensure your comment is appropriately addressed by management."

So it's being sent to the same manager that was like this to me? Ok, I see y'all giving canned responses and excusing abuse. Can't believe I spent $200+ on the fridge and food for it... which, because they wouldnt help me with the fridge and kept me waiting for over 15 minutes with no check ins, I had to take matters into my own hands and carried my food to my hot car and left it there so I'd try to have enough space in my cart for me to fit the fridge. After another 15 minutes of struggling and waiting to get it to self checkout, I was told (like a child and not an adult) to wait for help getting my fridge to my car. Cue another 15 minutes, only for me to give up on y'all being decent human beings and struggling myself to fit in in my car. With once cold groceries that were now lukewarm and sitting in the temperature danger zone.

Again, I wouldnt be mad if SOMEONE showed human capacity and stopped treating disabled people as children and ignore them.

Tried out the "Pick-up in store" option. Followed the emails instructions and went to the pick-up tower to check-in. After 30 minutes, a passing employee noticed me sitting there. Called back a "pick-up" employee who instructed me TVs get picked up outside.

Someone needs to fix this process flow...

This Mesa Wal-Mart is a physical clone of the familiar but the staff is very polite, knowledgeable and work-related blessed more than The Wal-Mart's visited in Illinois, big cities in Texas, California anywhere, Phoenix proper, New Jersey and more places I was "honored" to buy from China's largest importer front store. The honesty and hard work of these people is very appreciated. They do a good job at this location. If you can't find what you need find the first Walmart vest you see. Guaranteed they will be of tons of help.

Just tried to check out in self check and something I was buying rang up more then what the price tag read and when I went up to the girl who was working in the self check out and told her that it rang up wrong, she asked another RUDE employee what to do and the other employee stated that the "price was correct and that the regular item was the $1.00" and I stated "well I got it out of the slot that said $1.00 and there were other of the same kind in the slot!" and the RUDE employee said "oh well its not a dollar" and then walked away. I said to the other girl, "it says its a $1.00 so I want it for a $1.00." The girl stated, "well I dont know how to do it!" I said "then you need to call a manager" and this girl got an attitude and said "ugh oh my god!!!" I just said whatever and walked away without buying the items. I have now been on hold to speak to a manager for 10 MINUTES!!! Nice employess working here. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THOS WALMART!!!

I don't usually go to this Walmart but it's still the same high quality place the other stores are. Incidently, each Walmart store seems to sell some products higher or lower than other Walmarts. Check around if you're looking for a specific product.

Oil and Lube sucks majorly. Always 2+ hour wait. You sit in your car waiting in line to check in for 20+ minutes. You do realize this is Arizona right? It is freaking hot sitting on asphalt while watching you guys play around and laugh. Never enough technicians. Just absolutely horrible. Will start going elsewhere and paying more. Oh and your hand held devices never work.

Went to pick up grocery order after getting email and checking in. You sent me home without the order, then you told me to drive back.
I set up my online grocery order as usual, you sent me the email stating that my order was ready. I used one of my phones to check in, it stated that I was "all set". I drove to the Walmart in Mesa to pick up my order, I check in with an attendant and then I waited while you served 3 other people that had gotten there after me. One of the girls came by to ask my name AGAIN, and I asked why I was still waiting, you sent me the email, I checked in and you're serving other people that got there after I did. The answer was, "You're order isn't ready and you're not going to talk to me that way". So I asked, "how much longer is it going to be". She said, "I told you not to talk to me that way, you aint gettin your order today, you go on and go home". I went home and called customer service, HE PROMISED ME THAT IT WOULD GET RESOLVED (recorded) After waiting 30 min on the phone mostly on hold, the store manager said I could "drive back and pick up my order" they wouldn't even deliver it. This is actually the second time that this has happened and now I don't have groceries for the week and you've wasted almost 3 hours of my time. I want it to go on the record that I've now contacted you twice and you've not only broken and agreement (contract) but you've also promised to "make it right" and you have not done that to ANY extent.

UPDATE: Manager named Vanessa called me and texted me that she was willing to "RECTIFY" my issue, she promised to "TAKE MY CALL" however, when I called, I was told that "Vanessa was 'very busy'" and that they would "take a message". My administrative assistant was able to get through to her and she said that she had "CHANGED HER MIND" and then said "NOT TO COME BACK TO HER STORE".

Staff was kind however the wait was ridiculous. I came to have my flat tire repaired and arrived at 2:45pm. The staff didn't look at my car until 4:30pm when I pointed it out to the cashier... there were only 3 cars in front of me. Very frustrating.
