Crowded, too many tourists. Not worth paying the resort fees if you are not going to be using all the amenities which means you never leave the village.

The food was amazing. A little bit expensive but the food was worth it
Very nice place. Wish my points would count, but because we booked through AAA we can't. Nice otherwise though.
Great room, fantastic view, great distance to everything.
Stayed for 1 week at the start of August. Had a great time room was very comfortable. My husband had an accident and the staff were very helpful and took great care of us. Was expensive but worth it.
Not a pleasant experience so far. The rooms are outdated, not well clean and the front desk personnel are not very helpful.
Great access to the beach, shops, and great service!
We just went to check put there beach for future prodpects
Nice hotel convenient location closer to Diamond head. Concierge wad most helpful in suggesting restaurants and arranging tours. We saw several performers shows on property in the courtyards. Many tours pick up at the hotel. Lots of shops on premises, some were well priced. Beautiful views of Diamond head and the beach. UBER and Lyft pick up from the tours driveway.
Very disappointed! Had both of my room keys deactivated and I missed a business dinner because it took more than 30 minutes to resolve. When I spoke in person to the front desk to explain my disappointment, they offered only to put a note on my file. Are you kidding me? I'm now putting a note in their file. DO BETTER NEXT TIME!
Good hotel with great rooms. Buffet is overpriced for how small it is. Concierge is very knowledgeable
It s a nice hotel. No complaints (except the resort fee). We enjoyed our one week stay there.
Stopped by to visit the spa and massage area near the beach end of the hotel. Amazing massage. Will be back again!
This place upholds the Marriott standard and then some. Made my Hawaii visit just perfect.
Old, tired, a leftover from the '70's. View from my room was nice, Diamond Head and partial ocean view. Rate should have been $160 a night, versus $260. Excellent customer service at the restaurants on property.
Not bad, the service is very good, the room is very clean, close to Waikiki Beach and go out to go shopping, very close to the zoo, Diamond Hill, convenient for self-driving, there is parking space but the charge is not low, eating is even more Convenient, it is convenient to do Dangdang, and there are also water dispensers available for free. This is the best ~ big push everyone here! ! It s much better than a certain resort hotel~ this is great! !
Close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and many activities. The Kuhio Beach Grille has an excellent buffet but don't order coffee at $6.50 a cup or coke for $5. We felt like that price was gouging. Employees at the front desk and rest of staff are very friendly. We are worried about the homeless people here. There are way too many, pretty bold, in your face, and all up and down Wikiki.
Perfect Resort, right across from Waikiki beach. Good housekeeping service.
Location perfect. Staff is exemplar. Room is just ok but who stays in their room? Had a family of 4 in a double and it worked great. I'll stay here again.
One of my favorite Hotels on the island. Either tower has great views.
This hotel is ok. A little run down but not bad if you only plan to sleep in it. check in took a while and they seemed a little disorganized. There is an additional 25 dollar charge per day for amenities which they list as wifi, a keurig coffee maker, daily newspaper, access to fitness center, local calls, 3 movies and games, beach chairs and towels, smoke free property and phone hotel app. oh yeah, and a free souvenir beach bag. none of this is worth 25 dollars per day and most hotels offer these items for free. WTH? My parents had one room and my wife and I had a 2nd room. Both rooms had problems such as a leak causing a wet floor, leaking faucets, and a towel rack that fell off the wall. 2 for 2 rooms with problems. LOL This area seems to have a lot of people, ocean was beautiful, view was amazing from the side of the hotel we stayed on and the 21st floor the sunset was breathtaking. Additionally, the local area is slowly being transformed into an upscale americanized boutique and shopping extravaganza. High end stores like Louie Vuitton and Jimmy Choo are turning this area into any other beach area that can be found in the states. Too bad it is loosing it's true Hawaiian charm. However, you can still go two blocks inland and get authentic food and goods at decent prices. I would recommend this hotel but only if you are willing to pay for extras that you don't need.
A little pricey, but what isnt in this area (?). Convenient location with lots of amenities for vacationers. Close to the beach, Diamond head, shops, food, etc.
Incredible breakfast service! Pool area with Bar/Lounge overseeing Waikiki Beach is my favorite out of everything there...
Just visited and visited their restaurant, it was good.
The hotel looked nice too.
Amazing. Incredible view and the most friendly staff around. Great food and very clean. Sold me all the way on this location I suggest it to anyone traveling to this area.
Beautiful location and outdoor lobby. Rooms have view of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach
Scenery was good with ocean view. One point is negative due to the renovation of the water cutoff and the pool.
Great hotel, close to the ocean, the room we got was a good size
Beautiful hotel! The had great accommodations for check out day while we were waiting for our flight. The hospitality room wad a fantastic place to wait.
Outstanding service! Room with a view! Beautiful and even upgraded..
Frequently eat at this facility. Great location and accessibility.
The balcony was assigned a room with a half ocean view. There were windows in two directions and one was completely city view.
Is it a feeling of a beautiful city hotel as a whole? The lobby is a relaxing atmosphere.
I was not bothered by the feeling of a city hotel in my room because I was shopping all day in Waikiki.
Regarding parking, I used self parking because my friend came by car, but the entrance gate opens even though it is full. I saw many cars, including us, go to the rooftop of the parking lot and get off without space. Very stressful parking. If you are comfortable with leaving your car key, you may want to ask the hotel staff (it seems to be parked outdoors). As the parking fee will be added $ 45 to 50 / day, Please refer to it when choosing a hotel where you plan to park your car.
The location is easy to find. There are more than one entrance to the hotel. Rooms are comfortable with central AC. They are also equipped with smart TVs so you can link your YouTube account. Highly recommend going to the buffet, it's worth it
Absolutely fabulous & I'm disabled! They were fantastic helping to meet my needs!
We went there for the restaurant Sansei. Food and service was amazing!!!
Nice atmosphere and great service. The place was always clean and the staff were always happy to help out.
Went to Sansei Restaurant for a surprise birthday party. Several courses: variety of sushi, calamari, dynamite shrimp (incredible!), miso butterfish, panko crusted ahi (amazing!), teri beef steak, bbq chicken, fried rice, steak with onions. Servers were attentive, owner gracious.
My cocktail waitress, Michelle was one of the greatest food service workers I have ever had. She really went above and beyond and made my visit exceptional. She should be commended for her disposition and hospitality.
Nice big room with AC that helped control humidity... Really comfortable beds and gorgeous views. Great location on Waikiki beach!
Great hotel with lots of services and amenities. Pool, hot tub, number of restaurants, Starbucks, ABC store and much more. Room was very nice, super comfortable bed. Tv worked with own Netflix account and everything worked great. Free wifi as well which was great.
Big hotel, got a nice corner room with two balconies. Room is huge.
Very beautiful hotel. I was in a room with a balcony. Awesome view!
I travel for work to Oahu twice a year so my time there needs to be productive. The hotel is undergoing renovations and they decided to work on the room above mine while I was there. Work started at 10:00 am and included pounding and drilling that rattled the core!
One night there was police activity because of a drunken, violent domestic battle in the room next to me. So awake for several hours as that was worked out and napping was never going to happen amidst all the construction noises! A free breakfast was offered for the inconvenience of the fighting next door. When the management was told about how unsettling the construction noise was, noted were taken but no apology or suggestions to move to a less noisy area. I ve stayed here 4 times and each time I get a less desirable room. This one was just over 300 square feet and someone s trash was left outside their room for about 24 hours. Just before leaving I saw the police show up again. I believe they were escorting a homeless man out of the pool deck showers!
Marriott... you ve disappointed me. Stayed in 3 other Marriotts on this trip where the service was MUCH better and less expensive!
This is warning before you book!
Lovely to eat all the crabyou wanted. Some of the food was dry and tasteless
Great ambiance. Excellent customer service. Beautiful views of the Ocean. One block from the beach. And great shops and restaurants all in walking distance.
Great location. Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with amazing views of Waikiki beach and the strip in honolulu
The lobby is very nice and cool gift shops and seems very well organized
Come here every month for business with several co workers. We all agree that the Omelet Chef Chuck Schmucker is amazing. Watching him prepare breakfast is like watching a performance artist. Thanks Chuck for the great service.
Clean and welcoming presentation; friendly staff and beautiful rooms. Steps from the beach. Highly recommend
This place was recommended for me by my colleagues and it is definitely worth it! Went to the area for a conference and everything became easy and accessible. The rooms were cozy and relaxing too!
Location was awesome...shopping, eateries, beach and tourist attractions were all within walking distance. Staff was superb...one of our best vacations yet!!!
It is pretty great but a bit far from the center of Waikiki place. You have to walk like 10-15min to get to the shops. But other than that, great.
This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life i loved it and i will visit anytime
One of the best hotels on Waikiki. Quick walk to the beach and a convenient walk to food and entertainment. You can schedule tours and dinner shows in the lobby to make things more convenient. Rooms were kept clean by the great housekeeping staff. Breakfast bar was more than adequate with plenty of options. Great views from the rooms.
