They have been great with my dog. They have multiple indoor and outdoor spaces for the dogs to play. They also have a doggie spa and boarding services.
This is the only dog care facility that Buddy, my collie, has always been excited to go to. When we turn the corner to the ranch, he starts whining and prancing, eager to get out of the car and play with his doggie friends. The staff is so good with him, too!
We took our pup for the first time this week and he loved it there! The staff was friendly and treated Sam like one of their own. Unfortunately for us it s quite the drive, so we won t make it as often as we would like, but I highly recommend Waggin Tailz!
They are not able to handle bulldog breeds. My dog gets excited when he is dropped off he is really mouthy and doesn't like other dogs to leave so he barks. He has a very large underbite and couldn't bite another dog if he tried. He was put in constant "time outs" for being excited - I was dropping him off one day and I heard one of the "wranglers" telling another gal her puppy was just too hyper and had to be put in time out - really! And finally- the last time i brought mine in I was told he couldn't come back until he had some more training. Is it possible he's just excited to play?! It's a neat concept and seems clean and is super affordable but I think maybe smaller breed non excitable dogs are best suited. Not at all impressed.
The staff are really friendly, they know the names of all of the dogs coming in, recognizing them from their barks! The facility is spacious and very clean.
Awesome locally owned doggie day care and grooming! Highly recommend!
Our lab-pointer mix puppy loves coming here and burning off her extra energy with her doggie friends. They have eight cameras on all day so you can watch your dog interact.
My wife and I are very picky about where we take our dogs, especially since we foster for a local rescue. Usually our foster dogs are a little shy and timid. The staff at WTR shows great respect to our foster dogs and understand their needs. All the dogs come home exhausted! Usually they are sleeping on the way home. We also use their grooming services. Nothing but thumbs up!
They panic if your dog is sick, but they're friendly and care about your critters.
My dog loves going there and they take good care of him while he is there.
My pups are never happier than after a full day of playing at the Waggin' Tailz ranch.
As a former employee, I do not recommend bringing your dogs here. Many of their dogs are very aggressive with other dogs and have to be put in their own specific groups. They also have many dogs that have attacked numerous of their employees including myself and not caring one bit. They make it seem as if it s your fault you got attacked. They also put dogs in timeouts for hour long time outs, sometimes longer. Employee dogs that are allowed to come are treated even worse because they do not pay. They also treat employees as if they are stupid. Favoritism is very strong here among employees and dogs. They are also very aggressive with some of the dogs because they cannot handle some. I did enjoy working here until I noticed much of it. There have been a large number of dogs who have left due to they were treated and their owners not being very happy.
I have been using Waggin Tailz Ranch for years. They are great. The dogs are happy.
This is a fabulous place for your pet to go and play or board overnight. My dog has gone to Waggin' Tailz Ranch for 6yrs and it has been the best. Winnie loves to play all day with her BFF's at the ranch and then she comes home and she is tired and happy. The staff at the Ranch are all professional and love every dog that comes in. I give Waggin Tailz Ranch 5 Stars!! Give them a try, believe me, you will be glad you did!!
Kylie groomed my Miniture Australian Shepherd yesterday. I cannot express how pleased I am with her work. She paid special attention to my dog's needs. It is the first time he has been groomed and not ended up at the vet for an allergy shot because of reaction to shampoos, colognes etc. In fact, he came home like "Everything's good. That wasn't so bad after all!" No scratching, scooting or pouting!
I am thrilled and will definitely go back for Roo's future grooming needs.
I do not recommend this place for your dog. My dog was boarded there overnight with us being there before thinking he would have a great time. but over the weekend we looked at their web cam and found out that none of the dogs were playing during their designated play time. We own a hyper 5 month old lab who needs to get exercise, and finding out he wasn't able to play really made my family and I angry. We called in and found out he was put in an hour long time out for humping another dog. Yes I understand that they shouldn't be allowed to do that but that's an unreasonable amount of time. Finally, on Sunday my husband went to pick up my dog he usually came out of our other day care happy and jumpy but when he came out of Waggin Tailz Ranch he had his head down and sad.
We ve been clients of Waggin tails for years. I have three bully breeds - one that is super excited. The staff have worked with me on ways to help bring him him less excitabull and have let me practice on his off days to help him. The cameras are a great way to see how everyone is doing. I love This place.
We always take our dog here when we are on vacation and feel confident she is getting good care. This most recent trip was a little different since we were evacuating due to a flood. We appreciated being able to board her on short notice.
Don't ever fax them anything. They claim to never receive it. Then they won't let you know until you are trying to drop off your dog that they don't have the updated vaccination records. Which leads to you scrambling to get in contact with your vet before they open. Other than that, no complaints. My dog has a great time when he stays there, I just wish their customer service to the humans was a little better. A little heads up that they didn't receive the records would have been appreciated considering I made the appointment over a week ago.
Absolutely love this place!!! The staff does a fantastic job of working with all the dogs and are truly looking out for there best interest in making sure every dog is happy and loved while they are there!!! Thanks Waggin' Tailz Ranch! We appreciate you!
At first I thought this would be a great opportunity for my hyper wheaten terrier to be able to stay busy and have fun on rainy and cold weather days. Normally, we leave her in our .25 acre fully fenced in yard (weather pending). At first I took her in for a couple of half days and she was always panting when I picked her up, which I mistakenly took as being happy and exhausted. I later came to the realization that this was not the case. It was a rainy day, I dropped her off for a full 8 hr work day and after I picked her up and walked out the door, she darted to a puddle of water and drank for over a full minute. My dog is kind of prissy and only likes to drink FRESH water from her bowl, never from a dirty puddle. Looking back, I don't recall having ever seen water dishes in any of the "corral's." I felt awful that my dog went 8 hours of hyper playing without a lick of water. The staff does seem friendly and capable but NO water for a dog for 8 hours...come on! Additionally, I found fleas on her one time. I realize that she's a dog with other dogs and thankfully most of the fleas I found were dead within the next day or so (since I give her flea and tick prevention).
