Highly recommend this camp, amazing programs, great staff who are passionate, fun and caring. Well worth the investment, my child comes home happy and is excited to return to the camp every morning!
My son loved every second of his week at Lego Stop Motion Animation camp. He was focused, engaged, and excited - what more can you ask of a summer camp experience? He spoke highly of his instructor, liked the equipment they used, and when I emailed a question to the owner, it was responded to in a timely manner. My son has always been interested in animation and we were so grateful for this unique opportunity for him to further develop this passion. Thank you for lighting his fire!
Son loved Mindcraft camp - he is normally ostracized for not enjoying sports and it makes things difficult to find a summer camp. When we heard about Brick Works, we were so excited! Well worth the money and I'll do it again next summer!
Lego Brick Works Academy offer an engaging and fun alternative to the traditional summer camps and kids workshops. David and his staff are committed to providing a quality experience through their programs which keeps us coming back again and again. If you're looking for something a little different than your traditional camps and workshops I highly recommend them.
My son was kicked out of camp yesterday by an email after hours (with the wrong student name in the letter) after an altercation between some campers during the outdoor activity. After we complained, they actually investigated to find out my son wasn't involved. So after missing camp today they invited him back for tomorrow. My son declined as he doesn't want to go where he's not wanted. They have ruined what was his favourite camp of all time to this point. We'd like everybody to know how Brickworks has treated us and most importantly our son.
Fantastic camp to engage the minds of children. Lego robotics helps kids learn the lost art of problem solving. A great camp exercising the mind and the body. Thanks to the great instructors in Cambridge this week!
Kids review - BORING, NEVER AGAIN
NOT impressed with the fact that kids were basically stuck in front of computers the entire day with little to NO instruction while being One the most expensive camps in town.
Brickworks continues to prove itself as a top quality, professional and educational provider, even during the pandemic! The instructors are skilled, patient and generous with their time - and were able to hold the attention of my 6 and 9 year old for the entire online class. It was amazing! They guided and supported every student while maintaining the agenda for the class. My kids didn't need me sitting there the whole time, and they were using their new skills right after. I was incredibly impressed - what started as just one online class has become a staple, my son is begging to take them all. I highly recommended checking it out!
So much fun! Exciting and educational time well spent during Summer Day Camp and through the Fall/Winter Saturday Programmes. Awesome way to learn and play with Lego Robots away form regular school restrictions. Creativity, fun and research for all ages. Highly recommend it to kids/parents in Kitchener/Waterloo!!!
We LOVE Brickworks Academy! This is our third summer with kids in their day camps, and I am always impressed with the content of these camps. My kids love technology and using their imagination and Brickwork camps tap into their enthusiasm and help them explore new things and have fun. Their extended am/pm options are a lifesaver for working parents, and the kids spend time outdoors as well. What has impressed me the most, though, is their commitment to excellent customer service. I recently needed help with an issue one of my kids was having personally, and the response from Brickworks Academy was incredible! I was blown away by how responsive and supportive and friendly they were. Great locations. Highly recommend!!!
First time trying a virtual camp and my 7 year old LOVED it!!! The instructor is great, very patient and engaging.
We received very clear instructions on how to set everything up ahead of the first camp day, so there were no delays getting started.
We will be signing up again!
