Place usually gets gross fast, crowded not great air circulation. I'll only go if someone drags me here

All I needed was non wet TP and I fell asleep waiting for it .

Awful experience my family and I got in my brother in law was let in with his pens jersey my friend tried to get in a little bit later he was wearing a pirates jersey n was denied entrance and my friend said he'd take his jersey off then bouncer responded that he couldn't go in because of his shoes... note my brother in law is Caucasian, my friend is African American... discriminating much?

Great specials and nice atmosphere. Fun, Friendly... Love their wings. If you love sweet and spicy try their thai-ginger wings... yummy!!! Btw, great Happy Hour and Daily Drink specials

Cool concept. Late night it can get a little ratchet. Decent drinks.

Gringo Star WAS my favorite bar to go to on Mill Ave. Now, I will never go back. My boyfriend is an attractive half African American with well taken care of dreads. They denied him entry because of his $150 Jordans that were perfectly clean. The same Jordans he has worn the other two times we have visited this bar. It wasn't until someone pointed out that they got in ahead of him wearing Jordans no problem. If he wasn't allowed in the group ahead of us was going to leave as well as our group. I made sure to let them know they now lost 8 customers. I'm assuming it was the manager next to the bouncer who finally let us in after we picked a fight. Once we were in we notice 5 other people wearing Jordans!!! If you want to be discriminated and kicked out over some very expensive shoes, then have fun!!

Neat experience once you walk in. Cool video games and nice Happy Hour...

Just came for drinks and my experience was mediocre. The bartender seemed new at his role, it was apparent through his speed of service. I'm sure that will change after he gets more shifts under his belt.

All in all, I would give this place another change. I heard they have stellar Taco Tuesday specials.

Got a weird vibe from this place, like the atmosphere tries to cater to the hipster and/or punk but accomplishes neither. Service was fine, food wasn't great. Drinks were fine.

Terrible bar. A friend was denied entrance for wearing camouflage attire on MEMORIAL DAY weekend. Unamerican.

Overall, the bar is ok. The arcade theme is cool and the staff is friendly, but I cannot be the only one who cannot stand the smell! Among my friend group, I rarely propose going to Gringo Star because I cannot stand the smell of this place. I was there last night and it smelled like sewage was just hanging out in the entrance area. When it doesn't smell like sewage, it smells like bleach. It's such a cool bar! Why???

Food options not great, and food itself average at best. Service just ok, decor was pretty cool. If you want to drink and have a pretty college girl serve you, this is your place. That and location are the main things they have going for them.

First time here at this bar and the Waitress is freaking Awesome! Made me different drinks that I wishes, which different bars don't really do. Also have free games to play but except for 2 but I love this place! This is the place to chill.

The best music is on happy hours!, amazing prices and the food was really good.

I went during noon time and it wasn't crowded. Food was great and service was decent.

Adequately stocked bar - just the basics here. Nice, large space. Free classic video games are a nice touch.

Food is amazing and fresh every time! Tried 3 of their signature drinks and all were awesome. Happy hour every day from 3-9 making their drinks basically half price. Not many hipsters or loud drunk girls, good music too. Definitely go if you want great food and delicious drinks for a fair price!

Place is always packed always has a line. had so much fun

Ive been going to this place for years. I was dressed nice. Last night i was kicked out in an extremely rude fashion based off of how I look which I feel is discriminatory. This is America. Being told you cant go somewhere because of the color on your skin is unacceptable.

Drinks are excellent, happy hour from 3-9pm. The specialty cocktails are excellent. Service and atmosphere was great. I was staying walking distance from there and went there 3 times in 2 days. Definitely one of my new favorites.

Small porttions , expensive, leave hungry, nice bar and staff , mot traditional mexican food, dont expect to get chips served prior to your meal .

One good bartender. Buttons on the games stuck really bad.

Great bar to watch the game and eat wings, also packed on the weekends with beautiful people. I recommend this bar every time mill ave is brought up.

Great music. ok free games when they work. Drink prices are reasonable. Nice young crowd 21-27. If you are older its still cool.

First time at mill and this was the 2nd we hit up and by far the best one will definitely be back had a very good time.

Fratty bro bar, fun for the games and wild atmosphere. Loud club, good and crowded.

The bartenders payed attention to the people they know and not so much to everyone else. One bartender checked us out and we payed and we advised his partner we were leaving and he rushed over to the computer to make sure we payed. I felt like we were being accused. The happy hour is not very good as selection is very limited, prices aren't bad. We had the wings which had a hot sauce on them the sauce was not hot, and had way too strong of a vinegar base. May go back for the atmosphere, hopefully we'll have a better experiance
