Outstanding . I was in Greece. Andy heard I was in trouble from social media contacted me out of the blue . Agreed with my diagnosis of a problem MDI. Shipped in the Friday. Got the part on the Monday engine working Tuesday. All done on warranty and even got my postage back. You don t often get this type of excellence. I will always use volspec in future .

Excellent service. Ordered a water circulating pump for our Volvo engine one day before Easter Good friday bank holiday. Pump arrived on sat morning delivery and enabled us to get boat back to sea that evening. When time is money this is the company to deal with. Thank you again.

In preparation for first significant passage in 7 year old Oyster , I needed to have full confidence in Volvo Penta D4, some intermittent faults had been and gone and there were niggling noises that had previously been left unresolved. Andy provided excellent advice and options to move forwards, in spite of Covid I received excellent service and young engineer Sam was a delight to learn from and have working on the boat. Naturally diligent , careful , considered independent thinker in carrying out service work and rectifying problems following advice from Andy - all problems sorted . My preference is usually to work with self employed experienced engineers but my experience on this occasion was being looked after by a professional team delivered the best result with strong individual team members working collectivly was the right decision.
I purchased a replacement Volvo started motor which failed outside the warranty period due to Covid lockdowns. I was told that Volvo were unlikely to accept a warranty claim, (very disappointing)!
However, Carrie Adam with the help of Andy Notley successfully submitted the claim on my behalf and refunded the purchase price of the second starter I purchased.
