Atmosphere was good and fun. I ordered steak with salad which was good and the famous nachos but I found them to be okay.

We can here for a quick snack and drink as we were early to a show nearby. However, the servers didn't seem pleased with that at all and kept giving us dirty looks for not ordering enough on a busy Saturday night at 8pm (we each ordered a drink and food). The nachos were okay, not crips everywhere and definitely unevenly topped, but they were ok for what we needed.

Great place, good food especially the nachos. There mine, noch-ours, I tried making a pun I don't know if it worked. I've heard the bathroom is quite bad, which personally I like it just makes stuff way more adventurous which I enjoy. Pretty big restaurant and fast service.

We wanted to take our team to Sneaky Dee's for a fun Saturday night of dinner and drinks, but they don't take reservations.
A few of us arrived about an hour early so we could secure a spot. The staff took extremely good care in making sure they got us an appropriately sized table, as long as we were patient. Everything worked out beautifully by the time the rest of our team arrived! An amazing feat, considering we were a large party and it was a Saturday night.
Cassandra was our server and handled everything perfectly. She was very quick, attentive and patient. While all of this was very impromptu and unplanned, we have to say we are extremely pleased with how everything worked out, and we'd do it all again in an instant.

Amazing food options. Great customer service. Super cool ambience. Great drink options. A must visit if you visit Toronto

Picked up dinner the other night and it was the first time we've eaten Sneaky Dee's in years. We ordered the Avocado Spring Rolls, Poutine, and the Burrito Grande all to share. The Spring rolls were great, wrapped in a crispy Won Ton like exterior with a soft avocado inside and a tasty dipping sauce with some sweetness and tang to it, they were probably our fav. item from all that we ordered. The Poutine was MASSIVE, like enough for 2 meals lol. Fries were fresh cut, and the gravy was tasty and had good flavor to it, almost like a nutmeg or clove flavor. I did wish the curds were squeakier and didn't melt into the gravy, but it was still a decent dish. The Grande Burrito was indeed Grande, and came with a side of Mexican Rice and a side salad. We thought the chicken in the burrito was very tasty and well cooked, but overall the burrito was lacking some serious flavor and the rice was a little dry. I've heard incredible things about the Nachos, and the Wings at Sneaky Dee's so next time were by that's what we'll be trying.

Huge disappointment. Staff are plain rude and food is mediocre. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Music is a little bit too loud. Otherwise the place is really nice. The prices are reasonable and the food is really good!

Motown night was amazing but they got rid of it. Food is great after a night of drinking it wouldn't go out of my way for it.

This is a Toronto landmark. I know people who have met their wives here. Get the king's crown nachos.

We ordered tonight (called and picked up), and SO HAPPY!!! Ordered my favourite Veggie Nachos along w a beef burrito and Veggie burrito. SO MUCH food. Leftovers yay!

Would be a 5 star if they accepted debit/credit payment. They do have an ATM but ATM withdrawal fees are never nice. Overall great experience first time partying here, it was a decent turnout and not overly crowded Wed. Night + fun night and decently priced drinks (I was expecting a $5 cover but was $10)

Went to Sneaky Dee's for my birthday weekend celebration and I'm happy I did. First I want to say that I think they have the best darn wings in Toronto by far. The service was great, the staffs were friendly and accommodating. Kept checking to make sure the food was satisfying. I enjoy the atmosphere, I love the graffiti inside.

I've ordered wings previous to take-out but never stayed there so wanted dine in this time around for the experience.

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the strawberry daiquiri I ordered I find it very water down. But other than that everything was good on this visit. I'll be back for the wings soon.

Fun place. Top floors for dancing. Bottom for hanging out, food, drinks, friendly staff, and good music.

Cool atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks def recommend a pint of buzz and the grilled avocado spring rolls. I walked in and waited at the bar for a table and the bar staff was super friendly and took care of me right away which was awesome. My waiter could have been a bit more attentive once I got a table over all great experience.

It's a good Tex-Mex restaurant, I want to make clear is not authentic Mexican food (in case you were wondering). The prices are good, the food and drinks are delicious. Is a good place to meet with friends. The workers are very kind and patient. I really recommend it!!! You will like it :)

Cass was the greatest server! She was extremely personable, quick to serve us, and very conversational. She made a huge effort to make sure we were enjoying our time.

The nachos we're great and the staff that helped us was very nice. Only reason I am giving it a 4 star is because the bathrooms were not labelled and kind of dirty.

Love the vibe, the staff is the sweetest and the alcohol prices are soooo affordable! Perfect place to go with friends and get drunk within a budget! And the Nachos are too amazing!!

A great and personal favorite place, for nachos in the city. It's amazing how Sneaky Dee's stayed true to their identity after all these years. I love the environment, just as much as I enjoy the variety of food and beverages offered here.

Visited the place for the first time and have to say, will surely visit again.. ordered the veggie nachos and iced tea.. The nachos were pretty good in quantity and yummy.. Friendly staff (they made sure that we were comfortable) and quick service.. And I am deducting that one star because there were flies near our table (2-3).. All and all a good place to hang out.

20 minutes after being seated with a menu before a drink order was taken. Food wait times were reasonable for there being 4-5 tables seated. No water, even after asking for water with the bill I still had to ask again after paying before I got water. It was an uncomfortable, drunk and dehydrated stumble home. Nachos are still great

This place is awesome! Cheap drinks even on a Saturday, tasty Tex-Mex food, fun atmosphere. Our server was great and had good suggestions for drinks!

Food was really good. Big portions couldn't finish it all. Had the chicken enchilada. Could have had more of a sauce on it but still moist and delicious. Other had the vegan burro not on the menu but they have it just ask. Also the Mexi plate. Come hungry!

I'm a huge fan of this place and regularly come for the nachos. The servings are huge and everything tastes great. Have only spent time on the main floor, but I've heard great things about their events.

A raunchy tex mex kind of place with decent food. It has bee. Around for decades. Very popular with a younger crowd... and those that know.

This is a fantastic place. We need more places like this in Toronto, and less condos. If you are the owner reading this message, please don't sell your restaurant to greedy developers and turn your restaurant into another condo. Your restaurant has been a cultural icon in Toronto for decades.

Cool bar with massive food portions. Amazing and tasty vegan options. Haven't been here for years and decided to try when I heard there were vegan dishes. Loved it.Better than the standard vegan bar food. I will be back. Had the vegan burro and nachos to share for 2 of us. The tofu in the burrito is really good, lived the Spanish rice and salad. Waitress forgot daiya cheese but honestly the nachos are so loaded you don't need it. Was so stuffed and had a doggy bag with leftovers.

I came in a group of four, and we got two plates of nachos. It was about $15 each all-in.

It took a while to get them but both trays were quite delicious and large in size. The two plates filled the four of us, so the value was there. Server was pleasant. Quite a bit of character in the place.

I'm sure there are better nachos out there, but I haven't had them yet.

Simple and awesome Mexican style Meals. It gets very loud, so be prepared. Great prices and huge portions. Try the avocado spring rolls as an appetizer.

Visit here once a year and never disappointed. The nachos platter are super huge. Good luck eating them in one sitting. Just be aware they do not take debit and they won't split bills.

Found this place on a fluke, glad I stopped in food was great. I had chicken wings, brussetta and avocado spring rolls. Everything was delicious. Will most definitely return. Ambience was laid back and the wait staff was great.

I used to go to pretty much live at Senaky Dee's during my late teens and early 20's .... it was a great hangout for pretty much anyone... going from fairly Vanilla people at the front, through artsie type peopel, to goths with punks at the back.

Today it is almost a parody or maybe tribute to what it used to be, but the Mexican and "Gringo" food remains great.

Pro: The nacho platters are absolutely massive, will fees 3 people for sure. Delicious. Also tried the special beef burrito with salad and beans, very happy.
Con: music was extremely loud, very difficult to have a conversation across the table.

I've been to Sneaks almost too many times at this rate but I am always happy with the experience. My girlfriend and I come by once every few months now and always enjoy our time. The place is always packed yet the drinks and food always arrive in good time and it always tastes great. Although, this last time, the rice was a bit undercooked, however that was the only time it has been (in my experience). They also play an amazing variety of music, including modern pop hits and deep cuts from famous metal bands. Can't go wrong when you go to Sneaks!!

The staff is extremely friendly good place to hang out with very reasonable pricing and options in menu! However the guy at the entrance who was today is very rude and unwelcoming.. he made us feel uncomfortable and awkward with the way he talked to us and questioned us! I would request the owners to give special attention to this as this is the first impression of the place. You guys are doing an amazing job but these little things can mess up the entire experience for customers!

Food and drinks down stairs. Great dance floor upstairs. Only downside is it can get pretty sticky.

After having some lip smacking Mexican food in Texas, I was craving for similar taste in Toronto. Wifey found this tex mex place and we decided to give it a shot. The food here is good, although not as good as Chuy s. We ordered vegetarian nachos and vegetarian Fajitas. Nachos were super loaded, we couldn t have it all. Bar rails were inexpensive. We didn t get to visit the upper deck where they were playing the karaoke, but I ve heard good reviews about that. Overall, the decor is like the old cowboy rodeo style, so it gives you a good vibe. Guess this is the best tex mex you ll find around Toronto.

Great Mexican food and the best nachos in Toronto along with a decent selection of Amsterdam brewery on tap. Unique setup with a bar downstairs and a club/dance area upstairs. One of the few places dow town that plays good music and provides a place for great bands to play. Definitely one of the best places to go for a drink in Toronto, highly recommended.

I personally feel this place is not really the place for vegetarians. However, their Nachos were fantastic. I had a taco and enchilada. They both had cauliflower and broccoli with beans and rice on the side. I was hoping it would have a variety of veggies. Needless to say, go experience it for yourself. I had friends that absolutely enjoyed it.

Really recommend this place if you are looking for to go out with your friends and have a great time. I highly recommend their King Crown nachos. Overall, Sneaky Dee is a most-go place.

Try the nachos! Great food, huge portions, great value, and good food and drink specials. Very vegetarian and vegan friendly - my go to place when I'm eating with a mix of vegan and non-vegan friends. The nachos are amazing, they're so generous with the toppings I actually ran out of chips before toppings. Really cool nightlife upstairs too, they have a lot of events and it's always a good time.

an iconic venue and the epitome of the Toronto indie/alt/punk/metal experience. Think of it as the CBGB s of Toronto; every big act has had its start here. Best nachos in the city and a great atmosphere to hang out with your pals or go on a date. The upstairs has emo night every Friday evening, which is a must see if you re into that, and any concert at this venue is worth attending. I have gone to this bar every time I ve been back in TO for a weekend for the last decade and will always go back. The bartenders are (generally) nice and the quality of the atmosphere is almost unrivalled.

I love this place. The upstairs is always a good time. Be it for a live band or a Friday night event. The food is amazing! This place is a staple in Toronto and is my go to bar.

The only reason I can't give 5 stars is mostly due to the servers/payment options. I come here A LOT. And one thing that is always consistent is the bad attitude of the servers on the main floor. I'm not sure if it's just result of the culture within the servers but it's usually a snotty attitude, roll your eyes kind of deal.

Also why can't you pay with debit card?!? Why can you not split bills?!? It honestly baffles my mind that in this day and age a restaurant doesn't accept debit, and are not capable of splitting a bill. Not splitting bills has always been a thing here, but the no debit seems to have only began recently as I have payed with it in the past. If someone could reply to this explaining the limited payment options I'd appreciate it.

love the dive bar, grungy atmosphere of this place. the food was delicious too. sneaky dee's is a true toronto institution.

Very, very, very delicious texmex food, we ordered from the lunch menu - I got the burrito (shredded pork&beans) and it has guacamole, sour cream, and tomatoes and onions on the side. It was a bit sweet, but still was excellent! I also got a side of fries and a strawberry milkshake. The fries were hot and were nice as an extra side. The strawberry milk shake was amazing, it tasted really creamy and it was decently thick.



This is not an authentic Mexican restaurant, but it was still enjoyable and the food was excellent. Would come here again 100%.

Really solid food. Punk atmosphere. Offers a large selection of food which includes plenty of vegetarian / vegan options. The portion of fajitas is very large and should definitely be split between multiple people.

Toronto staple. Went for Wednesday throwback. Good vibes and great nachos. Not the cleanest, but that's the point.

I absolutely loved the ambience and the graffiti indoors! The staff is extremely friendly and humble. Service is extremely fast! Great place to hit if you're around Kensington.

I went today September the 14th and I'm not sure what the bartender's name was but he was excellent. Great attitude, made me feel comfortable in a new bar, and had great timing. The service was very efficient and the food was great. My food was brought to me with a smile on their faces which I can really appreciate. Not my favourite type of music but somehow all other aspects of the place were so good I still enjoyed the tunes. I caught myself head bumping to music I would not usually listen to. I also felt very safe which is extrememely important. They definitely appreciate their regulars greatly but they also treat new guests extremely well. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to go for casual drinks and food or just a night out. 10 out of 10 team.

the parties they throw upstairs are always a blast. tickets are usually only $5 and drinks at the bar are affordable. even though the turn out can sometimes be low for the less popular themes, it s still a bunch of fun. wonderful, vibrant energy and welcoming atmosphere. the food downstairs is good too and good value.

Been to this place plenty times and they never let me down. Great food, service and atmosphere. We love its Mexican food, steak on fajitas and also shrimps, too. I especially appreciate that they use very good quality of paper-made containers for take out. By the way, a glass of whiskey is a very good deal there. You can get double glenfiddich for 10 dollars there.

A nice and cool pink rock bar to hangout. Staff is very kind and I love their beer selection. It is close to different pubs, so it can be a part of your pub tours.

Great for cheap drinks and delicious food. The nachos are where it's at. Keep in mind it's credit or cash only, and one bill per table. Was happy too the staff requested that we reuse our straws to help reduce waste!

This place has one of the best nachos! Good service. Nice, unique environment. Good beer as well. The place is very popular and can be packed. I didn't go upstairs so I cannot comment on that.
