Vivanta by Taj, Gurgaon Review

It's quite NYC nd I enjoyed a lot bcoz of my brother wedding

Well, Taj is one of the best hotel brands in India. So you know the prices are not going to come cheap. I have stayed here multiple times on business visits. Forty minutes from the Airport (notwithstanding Gurgaon traffic), but you can take the Metro if you want to

Rooms - very good, has all the amenities expected of a 5 star - free wifi upto 4 devices, very comfortable beds, working desk, super clean and luxurious bathrooms, you can connect to their TV thru HDMI, USB

Food - is also good. I'm a Vegetarian and eat mostly Indian. You can order many things that are not there in their menu, you can order from their one of their speciality restaurants - Thai is good. Breakfast at the coffee shop is wonderful and reminiscent of Taj brand.

Other amenities such as gym, pool, business centre are also good.

*The negatives* - every time I stay, they do some goof up that can be avoided. Not what is expected form Taj. For instance, during my last stay - though the room was booked for double occupancy, all the amenities were kept only for one person.

Food can be made better, especially as per the customer's requirement. You tell them Alu Jeera well done and spicy, or just All Jeera the food that comes is all the same.

Good place, but need to improve on the service part. Get their basics right.

I went to Vivanta by Taj (Gurgaon) for a meeting. Now, being from a food testing laboratory, my first points of notice are how well kept the place is, and how they are maintaining the hygiene and sanitation at the place. I got a chance to visit the staff area, basically the offstage area of the main show, where all the magic happens. And I must say, till now I hadn't seen such a clean, sanitised staff area, with the best facilities. Their equipment and instruments were literally shining clean! Really impressed.

Beautiful hotel, everything was awesome, if they could fix anything it would be all the smog in the lobby. I don't know how they can do that but if they could that would be the best.

Great place for Corp. Events. Good food and great hospitality. Supportive staff right from security guard to waiter to Banquet manager.

Great location and friendly staff. Preferred location for conferences, Corporate parties and small events

Nice place to visit. I had experienced poor or delayed services, may be due to large population were there on table

Went for Sunday brunch. It was good experience with live music and food was very good.

Amazing hotel with all the luxury you are looking for...

I stayed there from 15 to 17-10-2015 (two nights) and my experience was wonderful.
Room was nice and kudos to house keeping and courteous staff.
Would definitely like to stay there again.

Taj hotel is Taj at the end. Hotel management and staff never disappoint us. Preety nice and cozy place with delicious food.

Currently staying in it:

1. Internet speed is negligible.
2. Weird sound is coming in the room.
3. Smart TV isn't there.

EDIT 01: The General Manager met personally and apologised for the inconvenience and butlers were a call away and tried to sort out the issue ASAP.

Good property, decent rooms, superb tasting breakfast and great food spread. Nice staff as well.
Location wise pretty secluded and currently even worse to access due to construction, road work outside.
