Vivanta by Taj, Gurgaon Review

The Gurgaon property is by far one of the best service provider. I think enjoyed my stay and the food.

Stayed at Taj Vivanta for 2 nights for the business trip.

The biggest disappointment was in terms of service. Had a dinner at the hotel, much to our disappointment. The service was extremely slow and had to ask repeatedly for a few things. Even after the dinner was done, it took a long time for them to present with the cheque. And even though we had specifically asked for separate bills, they forgot that part. When you are paying for expensive food, you expect equally good service.

The rooms are very good in terms of facilities and interior and view from the room. Rooms were generally clean and well-maintained.

Overall, though good property, still could do with better service.

Food was really amazing but so was the ambience. I really enjoyed my experience dining at Culina 44.

Good hotel with new facility .. food is good...must try...

The ambience is great, as well as the food. However, they can still improve on the taste. The fruits in the buffet were fresh as well as the cakes, the fish was cooked well, the chinese was also fine. But the tandoori chicken was not up to the mark in the buffet when I visited. It was cold and not as tasty as tandoori chicken should be. The dessert was quite good as well. I believe they should give more visibility to the appetizers, I found them later on after I had put my dinner on my plate.
Also, the dishes in which they serve the food are really weird. They have an earthen lid that comes off completely and it is quite confusing to figure out where to put the lid down with a plate full of food in your hand. Eventually, you'll see that there is a metal holder on the side of the pot where you have to slide in the lid vertically, so that you can serve food into your plate. Hinged lids would obviously work better.
A small inconvenience brought to light, in case they decide to aspire for perfection.

Good place to hold small business meetings and conferences

I went there to celebrate new year eve.. n the service and staff was worst.

No space in ballroom and food services also bad so please go some other place but don't waste your money in this type of place

Service by waiters at the restaurant was bit off. Other than that, great experience.

Taj offers the best service of any hotel in Gurugram I've been to with very enjoyable dinner. Included breakfast however is below average and small details missing but certainly no reason to not stay at the Taj (eg. No iron, robe, internet in Cafe)

Taj Vivanta is 5 star Hotel located near Hudda City Center Metro Station.
This Hotel provide stay facilities and it also has restaurant.
Hotel has parking facility available.
It is located on the mid of city, some times road get to much crowded so you may skip its entry gate. But nothing much to worry take service lane, it will help you.
Hotel ambeince is good and unique, staff is coperative.

Great ambience. Also offers some delicious cusine.
I tried some Thai and it turned out really good.
Only concern is that the road or street outside while entering Taj sucks. Lot of potholes and badly maintained.

Had dinner last week at Culina 44. It has nice ambience and was also playing live music although slightly loud. Food was excellent and staff very efficient & polite. Very good preparation of kebabs. We were also served complimentary Birthday cake which was very nicely served by a guy named Mahendra.

Good experience except the awkward music in the common space. They should try jazz or blues or classicals..
