Low pay, yet easy work so that makes up for it. But they tell you one thing and do another. Especially when trying to move up the chain. Got told 5 to 6 times we'll train you on this machine next week. Then get told agin next week, then yet again next week, so its been a month sense i should have been trained. Procrastination at its best, but thats factory work for you.

This is a sprawling set of complexes with ZERO signage and no approach info for drivers passed on by the load brokers. Even on-site there's a lack of people in whatever incorrect building you might stop at, who can direct you to the right building.
If you're a veteran shipper for them you will know locations and procedures and expectations. Including the expectation that you will just be able to intuit their procedures and expectations!

I would also echo "Vicki" below that you negotiate retention pay with your dispatch. My first trip here I waited over 5 hrs just to start loading. This trip looks like I will be loaded and out in 6 hrs.
Bring at least 1 meal with you!

Hopefully next trip I can give a more favorable review!

Absolutely horrible place to pick a load if you are coming through a broker. These guys have no knowledge about transportation industry that it runs according to Govt implied HOS rules. If a driver is spending 10 hours on your property, how he is supposed to plan his trip. If load is not ready, why would you even book a truck. Makes no sense to me. Please streamline your shipping system and stop detaining OTR drivers.
