Absolutely beautiful. Service was amazing. White sand beach. We stayed on the first floor in the Jr. Castle Suite Oceanfront in the Castle building. Our patio deck had stairs that walked out to the private beach. There were also 5 pools. Grab yourself endless Mamajuanas at the bar. Mika is the best bartender in the main lobby bar!
Really enjoyed my 4 nights and 5 days at sanctuary. It was a girls trip and our main objective was just to relax. We woke up at 7am, went down to secure our chairs by the main pool and ate breakfast - every single day. We enjoyed the 175 PP spa package. It was worth it. We stayed two to a room in the junior ocean front suites. We only went to the room to sleep essentially. The staff was outstanding! Super friendly and attentive. If you asked the front desk for anything, it would be there within 30 minutes. The all inclusive aspect made things very convenient. The food was pretty good. Not much seasoning but I guess that s to satisfy all pallets. The only thing I wish they had was a DJ all day long. It was sort of dead during the day. Not a lot of excitement. Overall I recommend staying here. Clean rooms, people wore masks and service was great.
We thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon at Sanctuary Cap Cana! We LOVED everything about it! Upon booking we had high expectations & it met everyone we had! Every worker went out of their way to be welcoming, friendly, & appreciative while working so hard Every pool, bathroom, room, restaurant, sidewalk, & bar were clean! The grounds were beautiful! The food & drinks were excellent! The weather was amazing! We LOVE the Dominican people & are ready to go back!
My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here last week and we are so happy we booked with Sanctuary Cap Cana. First off, the resort architecture, grounds, and setting are stunning. It is just beautiful and well maintained everywhere you look. You feel like you are staying in an upscale, quaint village due to the variety of different buildings...you don t feel like you are staying at a standard hotel/resort. The pools are amazing, perfect temperatures and clean. The beach is small but the beach lounge area is intimate and beautiful. We loved the food- all the restaurants were wonderful. The hotel staff were all AMAZING! Juan, Happy Boy, Miguel the fitness trainer, Jacobo our waiter... I could go on. The circus performance and the Dominican show were very good, as was the nightly music performances with cello, saxophone, etc. Everyone was very pleasant and worked tirelessly to make our experience unforgettable. We stayed for 8 nights, and we would definitely return. We highly recommend this for a romantic couples retreat! We were hesitant to book excursions because the resort was so nice and we didn t want to leave!
Fantastic and cheerful staff, great variety and plentiful amounts of food, very calm and peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place if you want to getaway with your significant other for a few days.
We stayed in a honeymoon suite with a private pool and access to a butler. Our butler, Emilio, was great. Quick to respond to our requests, and always happy to help.
All the staff make you feel welcome and say hello when they see you. They genuinely care about your satisfaction during your stay.
The old Spanish/Mediterranean vibe is felt throughout the resort. Plenty of swimming pools, luxurious spas, and great views throughout the property.
We booked a love package for our suite with rose petals and balloons, along with a dinner on the beach. Worth every penny!
We will definitely be coming back, and recommending this resort to friends and family.

By Far one of the best adult All Inclusive Resorts I've ever been to in 20yrs (and I've been to many). About 15 mins from the airport in a private entrance community ( Cap Cana ). Service, food , entertainment.... check check and check. This place probably has some of the best angles and sectors within the resort for picture taking. Not much else to say , but great job to the staff and those responsible for this whole operation . Will be coming back to relax.
The Restaurant Staff couldn't be any better. Can't say enough about how at home they make you feel at the Restaurants! The butlers are wonderful! Loved the experience of being pampered. However..... Be Careful with the "Entertainment" staff. They tell you "we will do this for you, all inclusive!" You wait for your request and they've moved on to flirting with guests or doing "Extra Curricular" (taking shots or other such activities) which cause them to lose focus. They also are in the process of begging for reviews. You will be asked daily to give a review. Also they are building a new resort right next door! So when you're trying to enjoy the balcony or outside your room all you hear is the chattet/noise of the construction. They fail to tell you over Half the Restaurants are closed in the Sanctuary Town. The Cigar guys are the biggest rip off on the island. They say "You try this for free!" You thank them and they say "you don't want a box" you try to thank them for the "free" cigar and they hit you with a $30 charge. Go the next day and that $30 cigar turns into a $40 because you know new worker.
All in all it was OK. If you enjoy watching a Diesel tractor picking up Sea Weed while your relaxing on the beach from around 10-4 pm each day then this beach is great.
All in all do more research. They are begging for reviews for a reason.
Absolutely phenomenal! This picturesque setting is tranquil, inviting, and visually appealing!! We had a spacious ocean front room. With such views and warm sea breezes, this backdrop provided the much needed relaxing vacation! The food from the 5 types of dining options was AMAZING... Definitely worth every penny! We can't wait for our return visit!
It was clean but i hated my whole experience and it was a waste of money. I ve never been so frustrated in my whole life. If you like people laughing in your face i highly recommend. Also don t purchase from the stores. The merchandise is very cheaply made
My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon at Sanctuary Cap Cana. We wish we didn't have to leave! The entire resort is gorgeous, the views are amazing, and everything was well maintained and clean. The staff were also very helpful and kind. We don't have enough good things to say about this resort!
