This hotel was not 3 star hotel. I paid for the whole package meal and the activities, and I couldn t even do none of the activities because they were closed everyday. The hotel is boring. There s is nothing to do. The food takes about 3 hours, it takes long for them to take your order. The beds were uncomfortable. It was a really bad experience. They were also too expensive and they were trying to charge me more money and they didn t tell me why!!

Not the most lavish over the top resort but definitely a home style resort where they will try their best to have the most pleasurable experience. Snow tubing was definitely the most fun but skiing was something I learned there.

In a remote area which was nice, especially since I'm from the city, and the staff was more than helpful with any questions I had during the trip. Very friendly and great to be around as well. Whenever I have days off I would definitely go back up there

This was my very first time visiting Villa Roma Resort. My family and I absolutely loved it. It was clean and the location was perfect. The events were a plus because it gave us something to do together. I would recommend a vacation there to any family.

Been going to VR for 30+ years and I can honestly say i have NEVER been as disappointed with the resort as i am this year. Dining room choices were limited, no choice in appetizer, salads that were NOT salads and awful dinner choices. One night there was a sea bass on The menu, but apparently they didn t really have it so instead of telling me the after brought out a mahi mahi covered in mango salsa... not the lemons caper sea bass i ordered. If it was a mistake on the menu, own it.... tell your guests it s a mistake and give me the choice of another meal. Previously we would leave the dining room full beyond words and now i find myself and my kids still hungry and buying pizzas! Breakfast buffet is a joke. Our timeshare room has not been updated since they had a fire over 15 years ago. And the facilities are all in need of updates. Even the activities are much less than in the past. I find the activities director fine but his wife has been rude on numerous occasions. The letter sent to the timeshare owners in anticipation of our arrival is like a letter from a mother scolding her children to behave. Other resorts send letters to welcome their guests ask if they can better anticipate our needs... not VR! I think this may be our last visit to VR.....such a shame to see what this place has become.

Spent two horrble nights during President's week. Skating rink was unavailable because of some complication. Game room had broken machines. My grandson had won tickets playing the same game over and over and didn't trade them in for a prize because the selection of prizes was bare to none . Plus couldn't find help to get the prizes. Bounce houses closed at 5pm . We were told the pool would be open till 9pm. Got in the pool at 8pm and at 8:10pm we were told to get out. Went to complain and was told there was a problem with the filter. Tried to bowl one night and was told it was closed due to leagues. What about the GUESTS who paid thousands of dollars to be on vacation with there kids that week. Why not Have the league's skip one of busiest weeks for the resort . For an all inclusive resort there were few functioning things to do.

The staff were super polite and helpful, the resort was spotlessly clean! There were many activities to choose from and the grounds were well kept. The only downfall is that several of the buildings have dated decor. Otherwise, I would recommend it to any family. We enjoyed all of the shows and activities.

We planned for so long for this vacation and were so disappointed . Front desk staff could be pleasant and helpful.
The place entirely is out dated. Furniture...bedrooms..etc. Bathroom seats are old stained and dingy.Curtains have big rips. They provide 2 coffee pouches..no tea and no creamer. They falsely advertised. activities..dancing formal dinning room.they had only one cafe for meals..not multiple choices. Dress code is jeans and sneakers dont believe its a dress up place. The front desk staff only presented us with a room key and no info on meals or facility at check in.. We had to go back and ask for a map of the facility...a list of entertaintment schedule..and places to eat. They advertise entertaintment and things to do..but there was none. They have several lounges but only one was open . One nite a singer to an audience of 5..and one nite a comedian audience of 11.We gave up and stayed in our room the 3rd nite. There was one bar that was open after 5..which no one attended. The Garden cafe staff was pleasant
Doc Holiday was ver nice. We paid for a resort but only had breakfast and lunch since we paid for a meal plan.We left the facility during the day since it was dull and boring. They had 2 gift shops one was open with pricey items. One never opened. The pool was not used since painting and repairs were being done. They have a bowling alley but its a long walk outside the facility. Game room was small and 7 machines were out of order.Food was good. We wont be going back neither will our family.

Villa Roma was an enjoyable resort to stay at. It had activities and things to do all day and was organized somewhat like a cruise with how the activities were staggered. The rooms and the main building were nice, though a little dated. The pools were great and the kids had an awesome time. The video arcade was very out of date with multiple machines out of order and the prizes that we could redeem tickets for were old and cheap. That being said the rec room the arcade was attached to was great.

I attended an offsite at this location and was impressed by the facilities in terms of quality and amenities. Everything from the beautiful grounds to the conference spaces are kept in immaculate condition. The huge cafe can get a bit busy but the staff stays on top of the diners with ease. Highly recommended if you are in the Catskills area.

Rooms are spacious and staff is incredibly friendly. Something for everyone to do and lots of nearby attractions as well. Best way to describe it is a cruise ship on land. Wifi is slow, but that's the only downside. Staff is incredibly friendly

The best place to have a family vacation. Front desk available 24/7, quick response, rooms are clean..., the only thinks I had to ask for, repeatedly, it's a paper towel and a toilet paper. This part of the service has to be improved.
