Beautiful to enjoy the full relaxation of a charming town like Cortona. 10 and praise for the welcome, kindness and professionalism of Marina, the director. Refined, varied and excellent breakfast, from sweet to savory.

Very good location in Cortona with superb view out of your window. Breakfast selection is better than most hotels. Cortona is a short walk away with more restaurants there.

Completely restored ancient residence has very nice and well-kept rooms, as well as elegant and welcoming common areas. The staff were extremely polite and friendly at all times of the stay. The breakfast is nothing short of exceptional. If you go to Cortona you will be fine.

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Marsili, a beautiful structure, helpful and very kind staff .... Fantastic Valentina and Ms. Marina ... the cantucci then .... what a pampering .... I forgot the breakfast ... excellent! !!

I have such a positive memory of this structure to become my "touchstone". Staff not only professional but also very cordial and enthusiastic in presenting the accommodation. They assigned us a delightful, spotlessly clean room, I was struck by a detail: the TV remote control inserted in a plastic bag! I usually always carry a small bag for the remote control because I consider it an object that is not at all clean ... It is also not possible to put into words the richness of the breakfast buffet: sweet and salty in iosa, delicacies cooked masterfully! At the end of the stay, we ordered the "picnic" for 2: very well prepared with a thermal bag, a thermal bag for drinks and everything you need from plates, cutlery, tablecloth and even a corkscrew, as well as a series of stacked trays that went from appetizers to desserts! Last note: the lady of the hotel always present, perfect host to welcome and satisfy any need! This hotel is really in my heart!

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The place is so beautiful, the location and view is literally breathtaking (and that's not hyperbole), the attention to detail is minute, the room is comfortable, spotless and charming, the breakfasts are the best I've ever had in any hotel, and to top it all off, everyone who works here is incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They go far out of their way to do everything they can to improve your stay in one of the world's most idyllic towns.

Perfect location, overlooking the valley and a stone's throw from the historic center of Cortona. Impeccable reception by all the staff: you always feel pampered. Particular attention to the needs of our 11-month-old baby girl. Structure furnished with period style in every detail with an extremely refined and elegant taste. Top breakfast with a vast selection of both sweet and savory and almost all homemade and high quality. We enjoyed the small buffet of aperitifs and the delicious sweets offered before going to bed. The location is beautiful: historic mansion restored to perfection. The service and 'excellent. Staff were polite, friendly and obliging. Breakfast is excellent variety of proposals of very high salty and sweet. Some dishes made from their kitchen ... delicious! The coffee, for me, a "caffeinomane" super! The fresh fruit in season. In short, a place to relax and be pampered by their kindness, thoughtfulness ... and breakfast!

I have no complaints. Excellent treatment since you enter the door. All very friendly, always willing to help you. The 5 rating is low for what they offer at Villa Marsili.

What fantastic people and what an amazing breakfast! The people that work and run this hotel are genuinely amongst the nicest, friendliest people I have ever encountered. The guest is truly at the center of their efforts and the service is genuine.

The breakfast is easily among my top 3 list worldwide. It is the only meal service they provide so they put all their effort into it. I have eaten things here for breakfast that any star rated restaurant should gladly serve their guests. The range of options is nothing short of amazing and although it sounds like a cliche you can actually taste the love that went into their fantastic dishes.

Top tip, come early to enjoy their breakfast at its fullest, as once its gone it is gone and it will go!

Nothing short of exceptional and value for money is off the chart.

Fantastic aquet hotel, the extraordinary breakfast of the best.

Such a beautiful setting - large, comfortable rooms. Located in a great area with access to the gardens and the central plaza. You can walk anywhere within Cortona from this hotel or sit outside enjoying a glass of wine watching the sun over the countryside. For those with Celiac Disease, the staff provides fresh breakfast items, as well as pre-packaged muffins. If I get the opportunity to return to the Tuscan Countryside, I will make it a point to stay here.

Very charming. Eccellent views. Convenient lication. We spent 7 nights there. We were very comfortable. The staff is wonderful, and the kitchen us fabulous. There is an incredible breakfast buffet, and the kitchen always provided me with delicious vegetarian options.

There is little to say, it is so perfect that you cannot find the right words to describe the professionalism, kindness, courtesy of all the staff. The spotless rooms, delicious breakfast, abundant and all strictly organic, the aperitif at 19.00 ( almost a dinner), in the evening when it returns Vin Santo and cookies. The tea ritual (to be the envy of famous salt) the Pic Nic basket, a magic bag from which you take out a 4-star lunch ... a special thanks to Mrs. Marina, a very sweet woman. I hope to come back soon, because the pampering make everyone happy

excellent experience at this establishment: I discovered through Groupon and I must say that I spent three days with my beautiful girlfriend.
clean facility (room cleaning every day) and tidy, with staff at the front desk very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Abundant Buffet Breakfast, with quality food and a wide selection. The buffet aperitif before dinner is less abundant but always of good quality.
Thanks to the coupon I was also able to try different offers proposed by the structure:
- Ritual of the: choice of 8 different types of tea (between Taylor makes and The Way of Tea in Florence) that you can try without any type of limit and / or number, all accompanied by a wide selection of sweet and salty tastes (the abundance was such that I skipped dinner from what I was full). Promoted
- the Picnic Basket: good food always prepared by the property (if you offer the Tuscan ribollita, accepted without hesitation) and included fine wine (a good Nobile di Montepulciano - Talosa), with gift box in the Thermal Bag. The beautiful day on Lake Trasimeno was then a great setting at the Picnic. Promoted
- Cooking Class: Ilaria chef is a very friendly and clear, very prepared to answer all questions. Great menu that is prepared together, from Pici prepared by hand from us and accompanied by herbs, olive oil and cherry tomatoes; followed by zucchini flowers filled with ricotta, herbs and cherry tomatoes; tiramisu with a delicate and tasty cream to finish off everything. Obviously the cooked is eaten at the end of the labors, excellently presented in the dish by the cook. Promoted.

In conclusion a hotel that I recommend and in which I hope to return!

This beautiful villa, with attention to the smallest details, has very comfortable and welcoming rooms. The staff is highly qualified, discreet, but at the same time, always ready to prevent any possible customer need. Breakfast includes a sweet and savory buffet of everything and most of the products, of excellent workmanship, are prepared by them.
From 19 to 20, paying the chosen drink at an honest price, an excellent aperitif is offered. After the 21 are offered traditional sweets and vin santo ... Highly recommend you stay at Villa Marsili to anyone to go from Cortona !!!

Spent 2 night here September 2019. Beautiful hotel, well appointed rooms, super friendly and helpful staff. The provided breakfast was varied and sumptuous! Location in Cortona was perfect, right outside the city walls. We would definitely stay there again.

Very elegant and clean hotel, very kind and helpful staff attentive to every need. The thing that struck us most was the scent of freshly made biscuits on our return in the afternoon that flooded the entire hotel, making us feel right at home! And in the evening as soon as we returned, Mrs. Marina (very kind) offered us a tray! Lovely breakfast with many delicacies made by their pastry chef ...

Even every evening from 19 to 20 a buffet of appetizers reserved for hotel guests, as well as variety of fresh pastries made at home every day with vinsanto after 9pm ... all free and all dedicated to customers !!!

The environment is welcoming and familiar from the first moment without neglecting the excellent quality of the services offered that make this hotel a 5-star failure! The girls at the reception, always smiling and professional, the same thing for the car parking and porterage service ... not having to wander around to find the car ... a real relief!
The quality of the food offered to us at breakfast when we wake up is exceptional ... full of sweet and savory things, all done at home by the chef and his little brigade!
You will also find free mini bar, aperitif and a relaxing after-dinner moment with homemade biscuits and excellent herbal teas .... what about a real HOLIDAY

Villa Marsili is such a lovely hotel. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they were always so helpful and kind. The hotel itself is in a great location and very clean. The rooms are very charming and have plenty of storage, just make sure you bring your own washcloths. The breakfast buffet has a vast variety of all kinds of delicious foods, plenty to choose from, even for picky eaters. I definitely would stay here again on my next trip to Cortona.

Fantastic service, excellent breakfast, great room, stupendous views of Tuscan hillsides. Bathrooms were a bit dated and the location while away from the touristy square is off of the main road into Cortona so there is some non negligible sound from traffic if you choose to keep the windows open. Overall we loved it despite that.

Enchanting location.
As usual, when we come to visit Cortona, we stayed in this magnificent villa in August.
It has many positive elements: close to the historic center, possibility of private parking, sublime breakfast, included in the overnight stay, bright rooms with large bathrooms. The whole structure is finely furnished with refined furniture and well decorated walls. Furthermore the staff is extremely professional, always helpful and friendly.
