Booked here for 3 nights B&B. Under the circumstances room only might have been better because the continental breakfast (covid offer)was short on substance. However, were given a complimentary room upgrade and it was spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom towels thick/fluffy. Lunch/evening meals are good quality and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all an enjoyable stay and we would certainly return if the need presented itself.

Must have been quite something in its heyday as a Shell sports and social club. Now looking a bit tired - I was rather surprised that the marketing literature describes it as 4 star. The furniture in my room was rather battered looking, the More

It was a very good place - we went to the hotel after a friend's son 's wake yesterday. The food and the drinks were very good. The weather was very good so that the residents went for walks in your gardens. Looking forward to going in the summer. Best wishes and thanks for everything from Janet Davies

This 4 star just didn't deliver the kind of experience I was hoping for. The rooms are nothing special, have no fridge, and they look and feel quite dim and a bit dated. The toilet had a rubbish flush, no extractor fan, and although the towels were clean, they obviously had been in use for a long while, they were not very soft. Hotel bar was reasonable re drink prices, food was a bit pricey. Overall ok hotel, but nothing special.

I attended a wedding . Apon arrival I was greeted by the staff , who were very polite and professional. The view is amazing and could sit there all day. The service was amazing The food was fantastic. We had Salomon to start . Beef wellington which was slightly overcooked but delightful, when cooking for 50 plus people I allow A little Lee way. The chocolate dessert was fabulous. The drinks didn't seem to over priced . All in all I would recommend to anyone

Very nice menu and premises, unfortunately no towel service at leisure club as promised on the phone, no direct garden access from the pool area (looks like it was once) and no warning that the hotel room was next to a big aircon outside split device which ran throughout the whole night.

I have photographed the wedding there last Friday. It was a fantastic wedding venue. The event manager Rose and all other staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. They even arrange the boat for bride and groom, make more special and fun. Will upload some photos later. Thank you. from Ying

I have been to The Lensbury Club Hotel in Teddington on several occasions. Though I've never stayed there as a paying guest, my visits are purely business. Mostly collecting visiting corporate clients on short trips to companies in the area.
My review is therefore based solely on the visual experience of its surroundings, brief interactions with some Hotel staff, and what my clients attest to.
It's surrounding landscape is certainly nice, well tendered, and clean. The same goes for the reception area, a beautiful and cosy lounge all staffed by friendly and helpful faces. It has nice views all-round including a side overlooking the Thames
It's very popular with clients of the businesses around as well as visitors to the area.
There's ample parking lots, gym, spa, and your Bar/Lounge as expected. It also offers Conference facilities, and other events services like weddings.
If you're in the area of Teddington, Kingston-upon-Thames, Hampton, Twickenham, etc for a short visit, you may want to stay here. You could be pleasantly surprised.

Smallest room I have ever stayed at. English rugby team stays here from what I was told so I wonder how do some of these guys sleep. Maybe they have special rooms for them.
Anyway, imagine a boutique hotel in middle of Paris and that approximately the size of the room you'll find at Lensbury. I mean open the door and just trust fall into the bed, it's that type of small.

Ok

Love it

The Lensbury is what a four star hotel should be; casual, comfortable and with subtle luxuries to enhance the visitor's experience. What truly stood out to be about my stay was not it's terrific grounds and scenery, or it's lovely lounges but instead, the hotels community. The place feels very much connected to the local town of Teddington, which although quaint boasts numerous stores and restaurants.

During the week, locals could often be spotted playing bridge in the lounge and the gym (which was comprehensively equipped) had a great atmosphere. The staff were happy to help and genuine which complemented the hotels atmosphere we
Finally the peaceful setting juxtaposed London's hustle and bustle superbly.

Fantastic location. The staff were excellent. Really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice.

I stayed in a double room. The view ways a bit rubbish and the carpet was very tired. However, the room was clean and the shower was fabulous. Could have done with a full length mirror though.
