If you're looking for authentic Chicago-style deep dish pizza in the Tri-Cities, look no further. Keith has perfected his recipe for the crust and uses as many ingredients from Chicagoland as possible. His pie is very reminiscent of Lou Malnati's. When they're busy, a deep dish may take 45 minutes. The fried ravioli with house made marinara is a great starter while you wait!

Really confused by all these good reviews for this place. I had really high hopes and was completely let down. I ordered a deep dish pizza to go because I was in a hurry to get home after a busy day to finish some paperwork. When I got to the restaurant it took them a few minutes to figure out what order was mine, but they repeated back so I assumed it was right and went on my way. When I got in my car I had to make a phone call and was surprised to have a voicemail from the Angry Italian when I got done. I was about halfway home at this point, but I had a feeling so I went ahead and turned around before I even called back. Sure enough, they had given me the wrong pizza. The lady on the phone wasn't even nice or apologetic. She acted like it was my fault because my phone had gone straight to voicemail when she called and then acted offended when I asked if someone could run it out to me when I got there. She literally said "we're trying to make it right by having you come back for the correct pizza unless you just want to keep whatever you got". WOW. No apology. Nothing. So I'm super irritated at this point but hoping the pizza is worth the hastle. NOPE. Absolutely no flavor and I still haven't found any of the salami I paid for. Also, if I'm spending $30 on a pizza I really expect it to have fresh ingredients (not soggy, canned mushrooms - yuck). The crust wasn't good either. I've had really good Chicago style pizza before and this was not it. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I won't be giving them another try.

Sitting here at the angry Italian restaurant it is packed and just had some cold soggy bread they are calling bruschetta.
So far a bad experience.
Hopefully the pizza will be better if we ever get it.
Way overpriced pizza was not any better

2/1/20

Recently decided to give the angry Italian another shot.
I had manicotti and my wife had a thin crust pizza.
Food was much better and the service was good.

Was in town for business and found this place on google maps. This place is amazing. Started out with an appetizer, the caprese salad, which was amazing and fresh. For entree i had the sausage penne which was also extremely delicious. I would recommend this place to all my friends, and if you are in the area, this is the place to go!!!

Place was very busy but food was coming out of the kitchen very fast. Waitress was extremely friendly and told us a little about the owner and his pizza. She also said there was $1 draft beer special. We ordered a deep dish pizza. I saw on the menu that it would take 45 minutes for it and we were fine with that. It came out in about 40 minutes and it was worth the wait. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Will definitely return and can't recommend it enough.

We love The Angry Italian. The food is absolutely amazing! It is a small place with a big impression. I would recommend it to anyone that loves Italian. And the cookie dough cheesecake is the best!

Other than waiting for about 45 minutes we put the order for our pizza pie so by the time we sat down it was ready this was a very busy restaurant if you can make a reservation or order ahead I d recommend it this is the first time I ve ever had Chicago style deep dish pizza and it was stellar. The crust is NOT overly thick like normal American pizza and had character to it. The sauce is very fresh juicy and succulent with pieces of tomatoes in it and the cheese was very good quality I had it two days later and it was even better the second time.

The restaurant was very nice and cozy. The service was good. We had the Toasted Raviolis and Classic deep dish pizza. The raviolis were good. Pizza was good. I prefer Giordanos, but the ingredients tasted very fresh. Too much crust for my liking. I would probably go back again to this restaurant.

Amazing food, amazing service! Couldn't ask for better in either department! Gail is so sweet and welcoming, she truly makes you feel like you're family and that you're home! Savannah, our waitress, was all smiles, very helpful, and checked on us several times to ensure we had everything we needed and that everything was satisfactory. The owner and all of the employees in the back definitely know how to prepare good food! This was, by far, the best pizza I've ever had and I had high expectations since the owner went to Italy and placed 8th in the world with his recipe! All ingredients are fresh! Speedy service! Quality customer service! Move out of the way Pizza hut, Domino's, and Papa John's! The Angry Italian is gonna show you how it's done! If it's not apparent, I highly recommend everyone try this place out!

Eat pizza, Do NOT order the spaghetti! It was awful. I told my waitress who advised me that it only had speckles of meatballs in it not really meat....so why call it meat sauce. Also, it was greasy with very little tomato and absolutely NO FLAVOR. It was dry and TASTELESS. They offered no accommodation, only a box, twice. If I hate it when hot and fresh, I sure don't want it as leftovers! The salad was excellent and my husband's pizza was pretty good with thick fresh cheese. If not for the salad I would he rated them at a 1.

As someone who has consumed more than his fair share of pizza I was not prepared for what I was about to eat. From the quiet atmosphere to the friendly staff, there is nothing to give away the sheer deliciousness that comes out of the kitchen. Upon receiving my pizza I was greeted with the site of 18 of pure Italian bliss, accompanied with a smell that transports you into an old Italian pizzeria. After taking my first bite I quickly realized that I was in for a completely different caliber of pizza and that all other pizza has been completely ruined for me. All I can say is that whenever I am in Bristol I will be stopping by for a slice of the greatest pizza to have ever graced the taste buds of this pizza fanatic.

Haven't tried a single thing here that wasn't delicious! The deep dish is to die for, but it's best when there's enough people in your party to split it with, as it isn't nearly as good heated up. Try the fried ravioli!

The Chicago style pizza is amazing. We were even given a courtesy call to let us know it would take longer than initially expected, for our pickup order. I recommend this to any pizza connoisseur!

The food was wonderful service I give you a 3. This would is a great place 4 when you're young people but it would be difficult for an intimate dinner because of all the noise. But back to the food it is well deserving that intimate dinner I could see this place going places!

Was not impressed. food was average . asked for a knife to cut my Calzone because the crust was to hard to cut with a butter knife . They said they had no knives. If it were not for the company we were with would have been a bust. Also did mot have maid dishes on the menu was told they sold out at lunch time.

We were very impressed with the food we ordered. The deep dish pizza is a true Chicago deep dish pizza. Good thick dough with a crunchy bottom, lots of cheese, and the sauce is fantastic. The meatballs are the best we ever had. The breadsticks are great and come with garlic sauce and marinara. The cannoli is authentic, fresh, and crunchy. Service was nice and attentive.
