Absolutely the worst venue I've ever been to!! Wouldn't open gates till 2 hours before the show and when we did find our way in we were cursed out by a golf cart security guy and told to leave or the cops would be called. Absolutely takes all the fun out of a concert and pre concert activities. Will not go back to this place.

Parking is absolutely terrible. It was almost an hour to get in and 40min to get out. Drinks $$$$ A beer and a cocktail 34.50. The video screens are cracked and bubbling up. Projection video, I got rid of my projection video last century. How about updating with LED screens, I am sure Verizon can afford it. Sound system good. Entertainment was excellent
Free parking is nice, they had chairs for rent in the lawn area, also nice. The bathrooms are clean and work. No trash on the ground and the workers are nice and helpful. The best part of all: getting it was not a pain! Overall a great experience.
Ameris amphitheater in Alpharetta Georgia is the best place to see a concert. Not only great shows, but the way they have it set up you can buy beer or your favorite cocktail on each side of the venue. The lawn seating is fantastic! The Amaris theater is only 15 minutes away from Cumming, and parking is also easy to get in and out. So if you've never been to a concert at the Americas amphitheater in Alpharetta, you should find a good show and see for yourself. And if you want to say money and pay no service charge, they have their box office open to purchase tickets there. Enjoy the show!
I've enjoyed several concerts here. Beautiful venue with good sound and views of the stage. Parking was free, but the concessions were ridiculously expensive. I wish that we could bring a picnic and sit on the lawn with our kids, but outside food and drink is not allowed.
Great outdoor venue for concerts! Plenty of clean restrooms with many food & beverage stations everywhere...the lawn area is a great seating option that makes stage viewing comfortable.
First time here and it was great. Saw Doobie Bros and Steely Dan. Typical outdoor concert setting with plenty of alcohol to go around. You can bring your own lawn chairs (if on lawn) or rent some from them. I think you can bring a cooler, not sure though. Drinks are high but DELICIOUS! We had a problem where the credit card machine double charged us for the already overpriced drinks, and the staff took care of it within the next couple of business days with no issues. Oh yeah, parking was free---that night, at least. Overall, a very nice experience.
We saw KidzBop here and it felt like it was being run by kids. The venue in and of itself was nice and the lawn seats were great for kids to run around but the show started late, the screens weren't on so from the lawn we couldn't even see the show and there was lots of feedback in the mic. Sound quality was horrible. I hope when I go to an adult concert the next time to have a much better experience.
I have been to dozens of venues over the years and THIS one is amazing says I, parking...ehh, but the total overall experience after several concerts ive been to is awesome. Wish the seating platform was slanted way more but the sound, volume, and cleanliness was superb everytime...we will be back as we have been many times. Rock on.
Good place to see a concert. Food and beverage prices are ridiculous, typical for this kind of venue. Convenient parking and good traffic management when show let's out.
I love the venue for music although most of the time it is too loud. My problem is getting there and leaving, when we were looking for Parking lot A, there were no signs to direct us, then a Police/Security officer gave us the wrong directions, when we turned around another worker gave us different directions, the parking attendants were great. The BIG PROBLEM was when we were leaving, when I followed my GPS instructions they made me go another way 2 times, it took me an extra 30 minutes to get home because the INEPT Policemen blocked the roads, they do not block roads at other venues and this is the most ridiculous time to do it when we want to get home after a long day. This has happened before and I am going to call the police department or an explanation and ask why they block roads.
We attended the Willie Nelson concert and were very impressed with the ease of getting in and out of the event. Will attend another concert there I'll n the future.
Gotta say this is one of my favorite venues. Alpharetta does a great job directing traffic with officers at every corner and once you get a mile with in the venue there are signs to tell you where to go. The lawn is perfect for a chill show even if the show is sold out. Plenty of space. Prices are expensive for food and beverages, $15 for a beer is way over kill. They make plenty of money and dont need to charge that much for drinks. It used to be $10 or $11 for a beer.... VIP section is dope AF. had my first experience last night at Three Days Grace and it couldn't have been better. They clean the bathrooms every 30 minutes they have really good service, you get service to your box, you get super close parking. Go from section to section as you please with in the park and man the acoustics are so awesome. Not super loud but loud enough to get the full experience which is great.
The show turned out great but the fact that yall charge $17 for a tall boy is absolutely ridiculous. I paid more for drinks then I did the tickets so to leave there sober was pretty disappointing.
Drink prices are ridiculous but I liked being able to bring in my own water bottle, sound was awesome, we had a great time and the bathrooms were clean! Always a plus!!
Great venue for a live show. Fabulous seating arrangement with different categories of charges as per the closeness towards the stage. Staff and security is very helpful. You will get snack and drinks through small stalls located towards the entry of the venue. They have ample open grass space also where you get your own mats and chairs to enjoy any show. Would definitely mention lights and tremendously awesome sound system to make your head swing and tap your feet. WONDERFUL
Nice venue with clean bathrooms but exorbitant prices for concessions. For example, $13.75 for a tall can of beer. You are allowed to bring inside 1 unopened non-alcoholic beverage.
Great venue! Saw the Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan with my daughter this past Saturday night. The lawn seats we had were great. Look forward to returning soon.
The roof dripped on our seat a bit in a torrential downpour, but hey what's a drip compaired to being soaked! Our seat was 102 41/40 best dance space and no interuption from seat movers, so it was worth a little water!!
Great venue. Lawn is nice, plenty of room and sound is great. Nice large screens to see better. Great experience. Jimmy Buffet was what my review was about.
Saw PHISH on 8/5. Sold out show. Venue is excellent. I was in the lawn view was good. Plus they have 2 screens. The sound was great and they have 2 good concessions areas with benches and stuff if you need a break from the crowd. A big beer was 15 bucks so that's a little pricey. Bathrooms were big. I really enjoyed it it was my first time at this venue.
This is a GREAT venue. Especially for handicap patrons. The seats were great and the venue s team was awesome. Handicap parking was plentiful and the staff is really really customer focused and courteous. This is in stark contrast to the step and staff at Cellularis Lakewood amphitheater, which is a disaster. Went to both places this summer, and will alway come here verse Lakewood no who the band is. This place was awesome. Great experience.
I saw Gwen Stephani and Eve here. There really aren't any bad seats in the house except maybe the lawn. It was raining and the parking area was muddy. We had to walk a little bit to get to our covered seats. Make sure to bring an umbrella and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. The show was awesome though. Will for sure see another show here if I have the opportunity.
This is a wonderful venue and the live nation staff that were there were very pleasant and willing to help if you have questions. The parking areas were also conveniently located close to the venue. Great experience.
I'm deducting a star because the venue didn't waive a rule about pointy umbrellas despite the heavy rain. However, they do hold it for you at the entrance.
They have an amazing deal to rent a foldable chair for $5. The lawn isn't too far from the stage like some ampitheaters. Overall I'd recommend this venue. Just learn from our mistake and bring an umbrella without a tip.
