My Salesman name was Fernando, he was more than professional, he was considerate of my Wife and I situation. He performed is job very well and was very knowledgeable of the products Hyundai had to offer. He never lead to believe he could do anything that he couldn't do. His finance Manger at the time of my sale was also very helpful. My wife is now enjoying her 2016 Sonata and Fernando still after almost a month calls in and check on us and the product. My overall experience with this dealership was very satisfactory and will be back to by from them again.

If I could give negative stars I would. Absolute WORST service I've ever dealt with. Avoid them at all costs!!! They not only lost my car and couldn't locate it for 3 days but proceeded to tell me they can't fit me in to their schedule for another two weeks and can't offer a loaner. Horrible customer service!!!!

Run do not buy from here. 2017 Hyundai Elantra nightmare. At 1,000 miles it overheated, the temp gauge was pinned, brought it into Fenton Hyundai they fixed it. A few hundred miles again same issue, brought it back in again. Recently check engine light went on, brought it back in again. My car has 14,000 miles and a 2017. I contacted Hyundai headquarters they offered $500 in free services. We have the full warranty plus added extra. I don't need $500 in free services. I needed Hyundai to take back this POS and give me another car. So never again will there be any Hyundai's bought. I prefer to go with a company that cares about their customer's. Notice the owner only comments on the good review. Shady!

If I could mark zero stars I would. I talked to a sales representative about a vehicle they had on their website. Made an appointment to look at it the next day, come to find out they don't even have the vehicle yet and are hoping that it is there by the time our appointment is set up for. When I talked to their financing department and let them know we had outside financing, I was told they would not sell us a vehicle. I talked to the man further and explained to him they could be funded the next day, he said well you can just go through us and then refinance through your bank. I explained that is not what I would like to do, he HUNG UP ON ME!!!! So unprofessional.

Darius was awesome and he was extremely efficient and helpful. I can honestly say this was the best car purchasing experience I have ever had!! I explained my needs and he was able to provide immediate results. He was very patient, answered ALL my questions, and directed me to the car that was best for my needs and budget. Be aware of car price! They increase price which it is higher than their offered price in CarFax. I stopped there and the management was rude and tried to increase the price for fake reasons. Never recommended. Stay away.

Drove over three hours to get to this dealership because the had 7 Used Hyundai s that matched what I was looking for. Made arrangements the night before I arrived to verify the cars conditions and availability. When I arrived they could not find two of the vehicles they said were there. Another one was there but had dents and other body damage. None of this was disclosed before my three hour drive. We finally found one that they had listed as a certified pre owned. I wasn t aware that a car with flat and mismatched tires, damaged front end and two wrecks listed on car fax could be verified pre owned! They refuse to negotiate down on price but they will try to pull a fast one and charge you more than the advertised price. Due to previous bad experiences buying used cars I set a very low bar. Vandergriff Hyundai just took it to a whole new level. Stay away!

Buyers beware! The salespeople here totally took advantage of me being unfamiliar with the car buying process. I drove here all the way from Frisco because they had a used vehicle listed for a really good price. After all was said and done (the process took them ALL DAY btw while my 2 year old was fidgety and hungry), I get home and looked over the paperwork only to realize they had added an additional $5,000 to the price of the vehicle! Feeling duped, I contacted Vandergriff and their solution to keep me quiet was a $500 check, which barely covers one payment for this ridiculously overpriced car. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Total scammers.

Two days ago I walked into the dealership very apprehensive about if I could afford a new car and if I could trust a car salesman. Well I have changed my tune after the amazing experience with Maletta Larry at Vandergriff Hyundai in Arlington Texas. She was a joy to meet , from the time I met her she was very professional, welcoming and trustworthy. I immediately knew that she had the customers best interest at heart. She worked very hard to stay within my budget and she made sure that I got the car I wanted. When you have a salesman that is willing to come in on their day off and make sure that you get the best service and deal possible that deserves 100 stars. She has renewed my faith and trust in the car buying experience. Many car salesman should take a few pages from Ms. Larry's book. she set the tone for how a car buying experience should be. I will be referring friends and family to Ms. Larry!

I reached out to them online before and they had the car ready to be looked at when I got there. Everything was good until the financing part. I got there around 6:30 and they ran my credit at 7:58 based off the alert I got. I didn t go back to do the paperwork until 10:10. I know this wasn t fully the dealerships part as the customer before me literally asked the finance manager every question in the book and was back there for over an hour and a half.
Other than waiting 2 hours with nothing to do, it was good.

We tried to buy a Hyundai Entourage from Vandergriff a few years back. Practically had to BEG the salespeople to work with us. Finally abandoned the idea and went to Weatherford and bought from Jerry's. I have bought from Vgriff Chevrolet several times and have always been happy, but the Hyundai house was HORRIBLE! However, in order to keep the warranty on a Hyundai, you have to have the work done at a Hyundai dealer. We live only about a 1/2 mile from Vgriff so we've been taking it there for service. TERRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!!! If there was anyplace that wasn't 20+ miles away, I'd take it there in a heartbeat. We have NEVER....NOT ONCE...gotten our vehicle back on time with everything complete. It's either late, or they didn't finish, or some other lame excuse. Currently it's been in there a week for them to try to find out what the rubbing noise is when we apply the brakes. They "think" that a brake job would eliminate the noise, although they can't tell us what's causing the noise and can't guarantee that the brake job would fix it, and the brakes pass all inspections and tests and a brake job is not recommended for the vehicle at our current mileage...but they "think" it would eliminate the noise. Of course, we would have to pay for the work and then, if it didn't fix it, pay for anything else, too. This is not an isolated incident...it occurs EVERY SINGLE TIME we've gone there. And, when we're emailed forms asking for our feedback, and we give honest negative feedback, we've actually gotten hateful comments from the techs the next time we've gone in. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! This will be our last Hyundai purchase so long as this is our only available place to get work done.

Chris Carroll made our visit more than exceptional. His shear excitement of providing us with our new family vehicle makes us excited to share the experience with Chris. At the end of our purchase Chris asked us to pose for a picture as he was proud of the sale. The reason for our purchase for the suv is because we are expecting our newest addition of the family at the end of February. Chris held a smile throughout the entire process that I could only express as genuine happiness to be apart of the aid of our new addition to the family, both vehicle and child. I couldn't think of anyone more deserving of the sale and would be more than happy to do it again and for sure will be a repeat costumer. Thanks again Chris!

I made an appointment here because my vehicle has ...

I made an appointment here because my vehicle has a recall on it and i needed to get it resolved. (campaign 146)
My appointment was made online, and i requested a loaner vehicle. I also requested that an agent follow up with me
regarding my appointment. No one ever followed up with me so the day before my appointment i called in.
When i called, AJ confirmed that i have an appointment however they did not have a loaner available.
Again they did not call me to advise me of this, i called them; had i not called i would have went to my 7:15am appointment to find out that i would be car-less (which is not an option since i have to work).
I asked AJ what they can do to resolve this for me, because i need a loaner. He advised that they can take me Enterprise and I CAN PAY OUT OF POCKET for a deposit for a rental .MAKES no sense to me seeing that i followed proper
protocol when i made my appointment. Long story short i made an appointment at the Irving Airport Freeway location.
Per the reps at this location, i wont need a loaner vehicle as the repair will only take 30 minutes.
My advise, DO NOT CALL THIS LOCATION; the customer service SUCKS! Irving definitely took care of me :)

I chose Vandergriff because their website has good pricing and the ability to calculate financing in advance. I was able to get a 2 year lease which not everyone offers.

The showroom could use a coffee/snack/waiting area but was fine; bottled water was provided.

This is my 4th Hyundai; 3 Elantras and now a Kona. I stayed with Hyundai because of the excellent quality/warranty/value.

You guys took a bad situation to a great experience for me. 2020 have been rough from the start and when your car goes down nothing is good! If you are thinking about visiting this dealership...

If you are thinking about visiting this dealership, I will save you the trouble. Just turn around now. We were looking to trade in for a newer vehicle today. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had. To start, the appraisal price was a huge lowball. They offered $5,000 less than the blue book trade in value. When we asked if they could do any better, they said we will throw an extra $500, but only if you lease. We already had explained that lease was not an option. After asking for the keys to our vehicle, we were denied 7 times. Yes 7 times to get our keys to our car back. A manager finally walked over and told us "Here you go, we're not keeping your car hostage". We left and went straight to a reputable dealer. They appraised the car for a fair price but asked what happened to the roof. There was a very large dent in the roof of the vehicle. We proceeded to call Vandergriff to report the damage. The manager Michael Oatman told us that there was absolutely no damage to the vehicle when he appraised it. At this point we head back up to Vandergriff to get this straightened out. Mike comes outside when we arrive and tried to tell us that the lowball offer he provided earlier was because of the damage to the roof. (Keep in mind that he just said over the phone that there was zero damage when he appraised). We ask to see the appraisal. Mike proceeds inside to gather the information. We follow him in and hear him telling another employee that he cant believe that they missed that big of a dent during the appraisal. I call him out on his comment and he denies the whole thing. We ask to see the actual appraisal and then it's, " the computer wont turn back on." The sales manager Mike is a snake and a liar. If you purchase a vehicle here, you are making a huge mistake. This is the first time I have ever written a review in my life. I am doing it so that no one else has to have the same experience we went through today.

Recently purchased a pre-owned certified Hyundai Tucson after a whole mess of a wild ride. My friends and I drove 4 hours from Houston for this specific car at another dealer, but was completely disappointed when the we came in and were told they just sold that vehicle. We were devastated having had made this trip for nothing, but we stumbled into Vandergriff Hyundai to see if we could find a better deal. Nonetheless, we were thoroughly impressed with what we went home with. Our sales rep, Suzanne, was extremely helpful in assisting us with finding the right car that fits the criteria we were looking for and for the right budget. We spent practically the whole day there, but they did not disappoint us at all. Their customer service was amazing and I would definitely return if given the chance!

After 4.5 hours here deceptive practices comes to mind initially. My spouse found the car we wanted and after going back and forth 8 rounds agreed and signed paperwork. Once he got back to the financing dept 1.5 hours later and viewed the paperwork, they had changed the numbers/cost he signed and agreed to. After more hack and forth, him almost leaving and then sending the finance guy to his manger a few times it was finally brought back to the initial agreement. Do not go here if you have no car buying experience are his words of advice. It s unfortunate bc we wanted to buy two vehicles. We will be going to another dealer. 5 star vehicle, 2 star experience.

Sales day was great. They were busy, which is to be expected on the afternoon of the last Saturday of the month.
Once we were greeted by Christopher, he divided his time as best as he could and got us to see the car we came in to look at. Test drive and looking it over were great.
Going over numbers was as easy as car negotiations can be. He was honest, straightforward, and professional. He treated us with respect and courtesy.
We had a bit of a wait to go to finance, but again, they were busy and working as quickly as possible. We never felt rushed along to move to someone else either.
Finance went smoothly and quickly.
The gas nozzle was broken, so I was asked if I could come back in Monday mornin to take care of that, no problem, it happens. We drove out happy with the day and deal.

We realized the next day that the wheel locks that we paid for were not on the vehicle, so when I took it in for the gas fill-up, I brought it up. I was told that they would check with the service manager and take care of it. I waited an hour in the customer lounge without a word. Finally I approached the gentleman who was coming in to let other people know about their cars and he was quick to apologize and find out the situation. Come to find out they had to get the wheel locks sent in from somewhere and they wouldn t arrive for another few hours. I wish I had been told that as soon as they knew there weren t any in the shop, I would ve happily made an appointment for another day and gone about my business. As it was, I waited about an hour and a half for a tank of gas. I did make an appointment to for the wheel locks, and I expect that to go much more smoothly.
Overall, I was highly impressed with the sales staff, but the time from walk-in to greeting is a bit long and the lack of updates on walk-in service is discouraging.

Our car buying experience with Vandergriff Hyundai was smooth and stress free (aside from deciding which car to buy). The whole process was smooth and transparent -- from car selection (with Carlos) to financing (with Cesar). They were very helpful, patient, and listened to our concerns. We drove 4hrs from San Antonio to Vandergriff Hyundai (they had the car selection we were looking for) and based on our experience would do it again when its time to buy another car. Highly recommend Vandergriff Hyundai.

I had been to many dealers but no one could do anything for me but these guys figured it out! Definitely going back when that time comes for a new car again!

Bought a car from dealer, was sold a protection plan called tire assure.Was agreed, it was like protection that discount tire provides.When I brought it in to get tires rotated,was told they don't cover rotation or balancing the most importent part of tire care.Its just damage insurance at a high markup.don't get it.

An overall amazing experience!!!!

I helped my son with his first car buying experience. I had expected a rough go of it. But wow, how I was pleasantly surprised.

Our sales person Chris Blanco was very professional, answered all our questions and was very respectful of our point of view! And to be so young; seasoned well beyond his years. Darius, the financial rep, was just as pleasant & knowledgeable. They both came across as genuine and wanting to meet our needs. The showroom & meeting areas were clean & comfortable.

Chris made sure they detailed the car and topped it off with gas; unlike my last car buying experience. The entire process took longer than expected but it was ok!

So 5 Star Kudos to Chris, Darius and our experience at Vandergriff Hyundai!

Very high pressure sales tactics. You have to "renegotiate" and threaten to walk to get them to come down to a reasonable offer. They are a Berkshire Hathaway dealership, so they do offer the MPP warranties, which is nice. Otherwise, I would not choose to come back to this dealer because of their high pressure tactics.

The dealership published a great price on a 2014 new Tucson. My wife called to verify that ther wasn't a typo and the price was correct. They said it was. We drove out there and test drove the Tucson, it was great. When we sat down to talk about purchasing the vehicle, the price was $4,000 higher! They said that price was only with rebates that we didn't qualify for. When I told the salesman we are leaving unless they can actually match their advertised price, he got his sales manager.

The sale Manager told us that advertising the price with the rebates helps them. It is impossible to get high the rebates. You have to be an active military member, while a student, while owning a Hyundai, be apart of a booster club and have a child with special needs in which you have to modify the car for to hit the price they advertise. If you have all that...then the price is real.

False advertising, plain and simple.

I went in to buy a car here because I saw online they had a special on used sonatas. Love the car, not a fan of this dealership. Granted, I did walk in at 830 when they close at 9, but they did not address my concerns. I told them multiple times I was an out of state buyer and that the car needed to be titled elsewhere. Low and behold, I open my mail 3 weeks later and I have Texas plates. Called in to the dealership to get it corrected, got passed around the phone tree. Finally talked to an internet sales manager, said he would leave notes for my sales associate and financial advisor to follow up with me next day. I inquire about my temporary plates, because I'm trying to get the situation fixed before they expire, but it may not happen. He assures me they can issue a new set of temporary plates to extend the dates. Wait until 6pm the next day, never receive a phone call. Call in to speak to my financial rep again, get sent to voicemail. Call back stating I need to talk to him and its my sales rep who answers the call. I explain i'm looking for my financial rep and he goes oh yeah is this (my name) calling?" which means he had the paper sitting in front of him on his desk and he did not bother to call. He lets me know my financial rep is dealing with a client and he will have him call me back. No biggie. I wait an hour, call back and get told my financial rep has gone home. WHAT. After waiting a full 24 hours and still no resolve? Not acceptable. No communication from dealership. No acknowledgement of issue. I work Customer Service, I know how a client needs to be valued and I definitely was not feeling it here. I get a call back from another manager who states he will leave a note for the finance manager to call me in the AM. Finally get a call back, and manager tells me he can't do anything, the car is already titled in Texas. Ask about getting my temporary plates extended, he states they can't do that, after a different manager says they do! At this point, I'm extremely frustrated. I also told them I needed my father on the title so that I can be under his insurance, they brush it off and assure me that the bank can add his name no problem, they did not need to do now, at the point of sale. WRONG. I have to completely refinance my loan, taking another hit on my credit score. If this dealership had listened to me from the get go there would be no issue. Even if they had told me, that we needed to wrap up the sale the next day to get clarification on how to submit everything, I would have been fine. I felt that they just wanted to make the sale and go home. Fine, I understand, I work retail. But this has been a headache since the get go. I will not buy a car from here again nor will I use the warranty, I will go out of my way to find another Hyundai dealership and will not refer any friends here. The lack of urgency to address client issues is awful.

I've been to 3 different Hyundaii service centers over the 6 years I've owned my Elantra and this one is the best. Everyone I talked to was SO nice and helpful. My oil change & tire rotation was completed within about 30 minutes even though I had no appointment on a Saturday! They also honored a coupon I had from a different dealership without any hesitation. Plus the included car wash was a very nice bonus on top of an already great experience! I highly recommend this service center.

I had a great experience buying my first car at Vandergriff exactly 3 years ago so when it came time to upgrade Vandergriff was the first online store I visited when looking for my new Hyundai. the deal was virtually completed before I walked in the door. Kirby was absolutely friendly and an outstanding person. Im already recommending Vandergriff Hyundai and Kirby to all my friends. BTW there isn t another Hyundai dealer within 300 miles from my home that can touch Vandergriff s prices!

I use to be skeptical about dealership services and only had to deal with Vandergriff for routine oil changes with my MPP program.

After an advisor quoting me nearly $200 for LED headlight services I decided I wouldn't bring my car here again for any repairs or quick- fixes.

Well, after having my second child and my car needing some tune up services after seven years of only two tires, oil changes and gas fill-ups, I came across Fernando and Anibel and they helped me tremendously to ensure my car is safe on the roads with my two little girls.

I really appreciate the help from these two gentlemen. I didn't hesitate to spend the amount of money I did given the quality of services my car has received. Thank you Anibel and Fernando!

This was our second time our family bought a car from this dealer. Our salesman Darius was very patient and helpful with us. They have lots of cars to choose from and prices are negotiable. Will definitely recommend this dealer!!
