Car shopping for my daughter yesterday and stopped at three different car lots. Two of which were great to deal with (Moritz Kia in Ft Worth & Huffines Hyundai in Plano) and we ultimately purchased a new car at Huffines which I highly recommend, but Vandergriff Hyundai has an embarrassingly bad GM with an attitude problem. No need to go into the details but he was unwilling to negotiate on ANYTHING and was extremely combative when I tried to do so. Wouldn t recommend anyone stepping foot on this lot.

Expect every standard dealer trick when trying to purchase a car from them. They list significantly over MSRP, have expensive dealer add ons (adding approximately 20% of the cars value), don't really listen to what you want, just want to sell you the car. "Rare" paint colors on a friggin Hyundai don't add resale value down the road. And if your cars really need the paint protection, then why isn't the paint coming off all the other Hyundais out there?

Went to another Hyundai dealership, found a car, was treated better, with more reasonable dealer games. Purchased exactly what we were looking for. Several weeks later Vandergriff calls me back wanting to work out a deal on their overpriced car. Guess they should not have had it marked up so much.

Bought my first new car with them The guy was really nice and I was super happy with my car. It went all down hill from here.after a year I startes getting calls sometimes daily about trading my car in for a new one. I have told them multiple times to stop that I'm not interested and they keep calling. This year I decided to go look the guy that had been calling me to come in blew me off to someone else to go deliver tires. The sales guy he ditched me to was pushy and not willing to negotiate at all. He flat out wouldn't take my offer back, so I left. I went to Freeman Hyundai instead and loved my experience.
Now I'm still getting calls after I told them i don't even own the car anymore. STOP CALLING ME! You're company will never get my business again, you hire telemarketers not salesmen.

Their sales and service are 2 very different departments.

They said they will be right back and left for 20 minutes . Then we left sales person comes out with a story of printer running out of toner. He was at the counter on his phone when we were leaving. Stated you should have came and told us. His manager comes out with toner was out needed to go somewhere else to get the toner. We stated we don't like games. Manager said we aren't playing games. I stated we could go to Freeman and the manager said go ahead and go there. You won't get a better deal as he was yelling across the lot. Since I know what they are offering I can negotiate. They were very unprofessional instead of apologizing they made up excuses and the manager exculated with his smart mouth. Go somewhere else Vandergriff isn't worth your time.

The only thing that I would change is the wait time!!!

Vandergriff Hyundai has the BEST staff in the DFW area!!! Very easy, smooth and fast experience purchasing my new car yesterday. Everyone in that dealership knows what they are doing. I live in Fate, TX which is an hour away from this dealership, but I (as well as my son and his family) will always come to Vandergriff in Arlington to purchase our vehicles. The service department is a scam. Save your money and drive out west to Hiley Hyundai for reasonable service prices. How do you tell a customer who s car is under warranty that they may have to be potentially charged ($139) for a noise the vehicle is making? Sounds like a scare tactic to keep the customer from complaining or to put off the repair completely, by which time the vehicle may be irreparable. Absolutely appalling. Take your business elsewhere.

Proficient group of salespeople, including service department staff. What made this work in that they listened to what was necessary in the acquisition of a vehicle. When the wrong selection was made, a simple phone call to Angela and Audrey was all it took to make things right. Here's to believing and hoping that a good, strong relationship between buyer and dealership will ensue for years to come!

Horrible experience After I purchased my 2018 Sonata I called the next day an I told them I wasn t happy with my car and he said I had to keep it 6 months...before I could trade it in..within 30 days I went to get it serviced at a another Hyundai dealer an they said I could trade it in an it would be better to do it now After going over my paperwork from Vandergriff Hyundai in Arlington it seems that they charged me -almost 10,000 more than what my car was even selling for..They took advantage of me...

I went to this dealership to buy a used car based on the advertised price on the internet. After test driving the car and talking with the sales associate, I was provided a quote that showed the cost of the car was the price that was advertised plus an additional $3,000 in 'options' that they installed/applied. I don't consider this practice to be an honest approach to business so I left Vandergriff and I made a purchase at another dealership where the price advertised was honored. Let the buyer beware.....

Our salesperson, Shelly, did an outstanding job. Was very disappointed on how her management handled the transaction - Very misleading and borderline unethical. If not for Shelly s work, we would not have purchased the vehicle. All in all we are happy with the purchase, but it was much more difficult than it needed to be. Explained to Fernando and Chris Ortiz what my needs were and budget to meet. They both searched inventory and finally found the vehicle I needed. Even though it was higher than what I had originally budgeted, the deal was too good to pass up. I made a cash offer and after a little more negotiating, we came to an agreement. I brought my car in for oil change. And state inspection. I was greeted promptly and my car was started on. As I waited, the agent kept me informed of the progress . I have brought my car to Vandergriff ever since I bought it and have always received prompt, courteous service. I would never go anywhere else.

Very bad experience that I have been having not with the seller the very kind but I am still waiting for the financing department they speak to me to sign but as I did not agree to aseptar a insurance of 3,500 now they tell me that the bank does not approve. When yesterday they already had me with a pen in hand. And I'm still waiting to see where this ends. Lack of profesionalism

Excellent Service and the Salesperson is very knowledgeable and helpful

They gave me a CPO car. First day before I took it home the blind spot sensors stopped working. A week later after that was fixed, before I took the car home again, the break lights failed. A week later, an hour after I took it home, break light failed again. I do not know if I can trust the car anymore.

Shady and unethical business. Service said I needed to have both my brake fluid and coolant flushed. I had just flushed my coolant system about a month prior and it was not bad and the brake fluid was crystal clear. Don t trust these guys to work on your vehicle.

Carlos was honestly the best , he was very patient with us bc we were there four couple hours trying to figure the best way to finance and not once did I feel like he got frustrated , he answered all our questions calmly and worked with us. I can say his professionalism is through the roof and his kindness even better (: . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for you ask for carlos to help you find your car !!

Saw a used car online that we were interested in, but live 1 hour away. Called dealership and verified car was still available and explained that we live far. They said yes it was still for sale and would text me a video to prove the car was there. Off we went. Text never arrived so we called again when we were 40 min out (20 min to dealership). Oh yes, says sales man, car is still available. Still NO video was sent as promised. Get to dealership and first words out of the salesman's mouth.... "Oh, we just sold the vehicle". BAIT AND SWITCH!! They just happen to have another vehicle just like that one for $2000 more. So angry. Wasted a day on crooked dealership. If car is a "Great Deal" listed online from this dealership be very weary. It will happen to be sold right just before you walk in the door, but they will have another one that cost more.

1. I DIDNT RECEIVE THE CAR UNTIL 5 DAYS LATER
( NO COMMUNICATION, I HAD TO CONSTANTLY REACH OUT TO SEE IF MY CAR WAS READY, AND EACH DAY THEY KEPT SAYING THE NEXT DAY, OR JUST DIDNT ANSWER MY CALL)
-THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE A RENTAL UNTIL THE 3RD DAY OF NOT HAVING THE CAR AFTER I GRILLED THEM
2.THE RADIO DIDNT WORK I HAD TO HIT IT JUST FOR IT TO COME ON
3.BECAUSE MY SALES REP DIDNT TELL MY KIDS DAD TO SAY THE CAR WAS HIS, WHEN HE HAD A POST OPT INTERVIEW , HE SAID HE WASNT DRIVING AND THEY TOOK THE CAR BACK.

- COME TO FIND OUT THE SALES REP NEVER RAN HIM AS A COSIGNER , SO WHEN THE LOAN WAS RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP HE FINALLY SAID HE WOULD RUN IT AS ME BEING ON THE LOAN WITH HIM ( WHICH SHOULD HAVE INITIALLY BEEN DONE AS STATED)

DAYS PASS AND NO WORD FROM THE DEALERSHIP , ONLY " IM RESUBMITTING THE APPLICATION, " WHEN HE FINALLY CALLED ME HE SAID THE LOAN WAS DENIED AND I HAD TO RETURN THE CAR.

I RETURNED THE CAR AND SWIPED MY CARD FOR THE REFUND OF MY $4000 AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE IT.

TIME AFTER TIME CALLING THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT ( WHEN THEY TOLD ME TO CALL IF MY REFUND DIDNT HIT BY A CERTAIN DATE) THEY WERE SO RUDE( MICHEAL TO BE EXACT) .! I HAVE NEVER HAD TO GO THROUGH ANYTHING LIKE THIS AND I WORK AT A DEALERSHIP IN THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT.!

MICHEAL AND HECTOR ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST AND I HOPE NO ONE EVER DOES BUSINESS HERE BECAUSE IT WOULD BE THE WORST DECISION YOU EVER MADE .

It was the most pain free experience I ve ever witnessed at a dealership. After several denials from other dealerships, he got me approved in no time over the phone within a few hours and I only had to come into the dealership for an hour to sign paperwork and pick up my car! Had two young gentleman help me last weekend look at a Santa Fe (pretty sure one was named Chris). They were obviously new and while I get the urgency to hire during a holiday I still think Vandergriff should dedicate more time to properly training their employees before letting them out on the lot. Very unimpressed with their inability to answer simple questions.

Great customer service and done in a timely fashion

Went there to look at the new Palisade and met with Carlos Gamez. He done an absolutely AMAZING job as I was a certified Ford and Volkswagen technician as well as a service advisor, he did not try to BS me or my wife. Even after I told him I was going to look at other brand vehicles else where. He gave me an ABSOLUTELY great offer before I left (which set the bar very high) even though my credit was not perfect. Carlos did not pressure us at all and was very respectful. Please go talk with Carlos he will treat you like family, thanks for everything Carlos.

Started off rocky because I did not like how they presented their pricing but Antonio and his Sales manager worked to get me the right deal.

I had to leave my vehicle for a few days for some service items and they handled everything well, and provided good follow up. Turned my experience around for the better

Was quoted $444.75 however when I arrived it was $459. I believe there was a 10% discount applied as well but I would just be more aware of the total provided and ensure its accurate. Other than that 5 star repair job and exceptional customer service. I dropped my car off and was in no rush and received it back same day. Will definitely come back for future repair work.
