We had a great experience here. Our salesman was nice and friendly- not too pushy. They even delivered the cars to our home that is in North Dallas- a long drive away! My only complaint is that we waited a long time for the finance people to complete our deal after we agreed on a price.

I've had my share of rough experiences with dealers and this is almost certainly the gold standard to-date. Bought used 2019 Acura RDX. Competitive price points across all models (both new and used) - nothing hidden and sales process was not "pushy". Ask for Matt Moore - he is personable and wont have you thinking about an exit strategy 15 minutes in (which I'm sure many can relate). Vandergriff Acura accommodated just about every request I had. Would definitely recommend you stop by if you find yourself shopping vehicles in Arlington.

The first time I went to Vandergriff just to look Johnathan Lester was very helpful. A month later when I came back again Johnathan greeted me and remembered me from before. He was very polite, listened, knowledgeable and answered questions in a simple, but yet keep it real manner. I had a lot of questions and took a long time to consider things and he was so patient and not overly pushy. He didn't try to show or sell me anything I didn't want. He brought me exactly what I asked about. He explained everything about the car and its features. He worked with me on the price and financing options to something I could live with paying every month. Patrick was also very helpful. It's been 3 weeks since I bought my car and I have no regrets. Horrible experience! Stay away from Vandergriff if you value your time and money. They don't care or value your time or your business. They just want to make a deal that best suits their interests and be done with it, they don't care for the customer experience. We were at their dealership looking for a MDX, spend almost 2 hours and after we couldn't agree on a price, we left. They contacted us as expected a week later to check in with us but wouldn't budge from what they had initially offered and were pretty rude about it. I would expect as potential customers you would at least try a little harder to get our business. Without coming to any price agreement, they would just send us random emails asking us to come out that day to their dealership. They assume you have nothing to do but spend hours at their dealership on any given day or time, just ridiculous. Not only do the staff have poor customer service, we had escalated to the Manager too and still fell on deaf ears! We're so glad we didn't buy from them, we'll take our time and business elsewhere where they have more value for the same.
I have purchased 2 Acura s from here. The second time around has been the worse. It took over a month to get a copy of my contract. After calling and calling. Text sales rep about vehicle not having a wheel lock so I can replace the tires that needed replacing just a few months after purchasing the suv that sits in the garage mostly due to working from home. Rep stated he was going to help two days later no response. Came to the dealership waited 15 minutes left rep never came. They was quick trying to make the sell. Never again will I get another car from here or my car serviced.
They lost my car in the service area. They couldn't tell me where it was or who had it. I waited nearly three hours for an oil change, and was too ticked off to get my free wash and detail. I will never go back.

After several close friends of mine purchased Acura TLXs, I decided to come to Vandergriff Acura on 10/18/2018 to look at a low mileage 2018 Acura TLX. Matthew Hathaway was very knowledgeable with all of the Acura models, and was committed to finding the right car for me - not just to selling a car. I appreciated all of the honesty regarding each car (I.e. that a scratch in the CPO vehicle may not come out after buffering). After pulling up two different cars, he offered to pull it into the garage so I could view it under lighting. His customer service skills are superb, and I m extremely happy with my purchase & the deal I received.
To top it off, the staff stayed several hours after closing to process the purchase, and offered a parking lot to park my old car in for later pickup.
Special thanks to Tony Tanida, who was very knowledgeable when it came to explaining protection plans, and made sure that I understood each plan and what it entailed before making a decision.

I moved to the area recently and just had my vehicle serviced here. Since then I keep getting emails trying to sell me a vehicle. I tried to unscubscribe and spoke to someone about removing me from the list. Nothing works even though they said I was removed. So I can only think is untrust worthy if this simple request can't be complied with. I asked to speak to the general mgr but somehow he isn't there at work. So looks I need to go elsewhere, hope this is just a vandergriff thing and not a Texas dealership thing. Trust is earned. Update: after this review their sales started to send me texts "are you still interested in the market for a new vehicle". Guess that's their attempt to harass me. oh I got a reply from the dealership only to say to they contact only those who opted to receive emails and such. I NEVER OPTed for any contact emails or calls, hmmm another non truth from the dealership. Dealership stunts, nice business.

I have been going to the Service Center for years. Never had an issue until recently. My car is making squealing noise after being serviced for belts and pump replacement. And they are asking more $ to fix it.
After my dad received information in the mail regarding trading his current vehicle we decided to contact Acura to try and get the process started. The information was submitted online to get a head start on the process I was quickly contacted by Stan Bennet and another guy. Stan was quick to give me his cell number to contact him and text messages were how we communicated the 1st day of this process. A day later we received an email that basically said that they got notice that we had pulled out of the process to buy a car. I then called Stan back and asked what was the email about, he said you shouldn t have gotten that email, I will take care of it . I followed up with Stan 2 days later asked him for an update. He said the problem was that my dad owed more on his current vehicle than what it s worth so he was still working on somethings. I get it! Days went by, (7) to be exact. No word, no follow up. Didn t hear anything. I then reached out to Stan for an update. It just so happens he had heard from the bank the day I contacted him. Coincidence maybe. My opinion. Horrible customer service. We definitely got a new vehicle for my father but hate we couldn t get the Acura my dad wanted due to poor customer service the dealership as well as Stan displayed. All they/he had to do was follow up, good or bad. Just follow-up!
This is my 4th Acura and 2nd from Vandergriff. Not sure I will ever go somewhere else. These guys are great. From the service staff to the finance guys; I am always left impressed. James in service has been spot on and Dayshawn who sold me the car was amazing. No pressure, easy process for sure. This was during the Pandemic. I saw routine cleaning and social distancing which left me comfortable waiting here. Well done to everyone involved!

I been going to Vandergriff Acura for almost 2 years. Never had an issue until recently in November I took it for an oil change, when I received my vehicle back the passenger seat had a tear on it. I informed the service person incharged James Newman and make long story short they informed me to fix the seat it was 900 dollars. Is little things like this that will eventually make you take your vehicle to other places. Not a terrible place just make sure to take pictures before and after you receive your vehicle. They will do everything possible to low ball you if they they're at the paying end.
Bought a new Acura from Vandergriff in 2013. Battery states 100 month warranty. Battery died within warranty period of 100 months. Vandergriff Acura worked with me to resolve the issue. Appreciate their prompt response and customer service.

Both my husband and I have found Tom to be knowledgable about the vehicles, honest in his advice, willing and able to get us the kind of numbers we look for and just above all, helpful above and beyond expectations.
Tom deserves recognition for his hard work and positive and energetic attitude. He makes the customer feel like nothing is too much trouble and always has a ready smile. Where to start? I visited Vandergriff Acura with a very particular situation. I didn't know what I qualified for, I just knew I needed to trade in my BMW 328i Convertible for a family friendly vehicle. I have two growing girls and recently became a single mother. I ran into several issues when attempting to trade in my vehicle because of my current situation but I got very lucky with Kenny Le! Today Aug 18th, 2015, I spoke for a SUV and my offer was accepted and confirmed by sales person Nick Davis n his manager and they ask me to come, before going, again I confirmed the price and again they confirmed "YES". From 40 Miles one way when I drove there with my wife and after checking the car and ready to pay, that time they increased the price by many stories and the manager was very rude. It was a very bad experience we ever had. Just to attract and trap to bring the customer they just tell the lie and do false promise. @ hours in traffic and then lot of our time wasted in summer hot day, kids waiting at home. This is worst dealership, no respect for customer and promise. After reading another customers reviews it looks like a pattern of trapping by false promise. Plz avoid this dealership, as it will waste whole day and this harassment, frustration and disappointment will make many other mental and physical illness.
