Etta Maytubby is a fantastic representation of the quality service Vandergriff provides. Having known her for almost 30 years, she has been nothing but kind and always ready to help others in the best possible way. She is as professional as she is enjoyable and knows well of service to all. Anyone would be lucky to work with her to find their next quality vehicle.

Vandergriff has a great online selection of cars. After a few days of searching and trying to figure out which car would suit our family's needs, we decided to visit Vandergriff. Our salesperson, Mike McArthur was very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to provide great customer service. However, the financing guys would benefit better if they were a little more negotiable and honest when it comes to advertised pricing and sticker pricing. A lot of the hoopla could have been avoided had they not tried to make us use their lenders instead of our pre-approved Credit Union.

Work on the Financing process and this dealership would probably get better ratings.

Have watched several of Etta Maytubby lives on Facebook and decided to go in for a test drive and just see what kind of experience I would receive, from the receptionlist to the test drives it was amazing. Pressure free and great service, cars were very clea . Il should be ready soon and Vandergriff Acure will be the dealership I choose to buy from.

First time buying a car solo was a bit worried about the process and hassle, but Dayshawn was down-to-earth, answered all my questions, and helped me through setting up appointments and effectively navigating financing. Shawn was a big help as well in explaining some of the finer details on the finance side. Have been very pleased with my entire customer service experience and purchase.

WORST PLACE ANYONE COULD GO TO.
1st time My boyfriend went, they tried to sell him a car for $20,000, when He told them the max was $10,000. He left after talking to 4 different people. We came back 2 days later, hoping to buy a car. They tried selling me the SAME CAR for $13,000. Then we questioned the deal and APR rate and my boyfriend was called Aggressive all because he was firm about our price and questioned what they were wanting to do.

TERRIBLE.

As soon as I walked into this place Jeffery was very welcoming, I explained to him exactly what I was looking for and he knew right away what to do and wasted no time. He made everything fast and easy, I would definitely recommend coming here!

Bought my car here, came back for oil changes and Every time I make a service appointment I have to wait an 1 1/2 to 2 hrs for service. Why make an appointment if your going to put everyone before me. I may as well come in whenever I choose to. Y'all must do better or quit having customer service call an set appointments, DAMN SHAME. 10 March 2018. Appt. At 8am.

I purchased a 2020 MDX on Saturday 2/8/20 and had the best experience! I chose Vandergriff when I learned that Mr. Wade West had transferred to the sales team there. This is my 3rd Acura purchase and Mr Wade West has sold me all three!!! He is the guy my family trust and we're loyal to! From the first time I walked in the dealership Jeffrey Brown was very nice and respectful. He is very even after buying the car . In the pass after purchasing acura the salesperson forgets about. Thank you for being patient with me my old phone! I'll be back! Very inteligent young man.

Expect to pay up to $3,000 above the advertised price of their vehicles. Hidden dealership add ons such as $500 for "luxury" floor mats, $70 for nitrogen already in the tires, $300 for tint already on the windows, and $105 for wheel locks. These fees weren't talked about at all. I didn't appreciate the bait and switch when I was on a short timeline to buy a vehicle.

I had the best car purchase experience I have had in a long time thanks to Lenny G. I highly recommend this car dealer if you are looking for a fare trade and an outstanding customer service!!! I have been their customer for 8 years and will keep coming back.

UPDATED POST AT BOTTOM. In the spirit of Learning and Development I would like to leave my feedback. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5 series in October. The transaction was smooth. The problem is that it s now December 20th and my wife still has no permanent plate. I ve called 9 times and even left a messages with members of there Leadership team and I have not received a call back. My wife was riding on expired plates until I begged the receptionist to email us another temporary plate. I m not asking for much. I just want someone to respond and let me know what s going on with the plate. Communication is the lesson here. When you communicate with your customers they are willing to give you grace even if it is taking longer than usual. When you just flat out don t respond, it makes me feel like you got my money and good luck with getting any further help. Great leadership is about teaching your team that every interaction with a customer counts. Especially after a customer has entrusted you to facilitate the sale of a vehicle. Please know that due to your lack of communication that the Vandergriff Brand has lost a customer. ******I will update the status and let everyone know if they reach out to let me know what s going on.****

Update**** A memeber of management reached out to me to apologize and communicate what the issue is. I hate leaving negative reviews. Hopefully will get this resolved soon.

Update 1/20/18
This is a great example of how great leadership and service can take a unpleasant experience and turn it into a great one. My wife and I were contacted by the General Manager and he personally worked with us to give several options to obtain a resolution. He stayed in constant communication with us from start to finish. His calm demeanor and genuine empathy were instrumental throughout the process. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Just wanted to say thank you for your your persistence in working to make us happy customers.

Used car salesman was very polite and very informative however, when getting in a few of the used Acura RDXs I noticed the cars had not been cleaned, there was trash in the car!

Vandergriff Acura never falls short to helping and taking care of their customers! Special thank you to Vernon Shorter and Fausto Rivera for make sure all of our needs for our car being meet and going above and beyond!!

Every person I encounter at this dealership is amazing!! I got a brand new ILX that I m in love with. Kyle, Shawn, & Wes made the process super easy and explained everything so well to me. Oh my gosh! Asma (Saleswoman) and Shawn (Finance) are the absolute best!!! My wife and I live in Louisiana and needed a new vehicle asap because our 2009 Acura MDX was totaled. We looked all over Louisiana and couldn t find the right dealer or finance group. We extended our search to Texas and couldn t have been more pleased!

I reached out and Asma Morales was a pleasure from start to finish. She respected my time when I was at work, and got business handled when I was off. Her personality was SUPER welcoming and she was VERY SKILLED and KNOWLEDGEABLE. She is EFFICIENT! Signed papers in less than 7 minutes... I counted.

Shawn was an absolute rockstar!!! My wife and I have definitely experienced some growing pains with our credit (for others reading this with challenging credit, you know what I mean!). Needless to say, though we found a car my wife LOVED, we didn t know if we d get qualified. SHAWN HOSSAIN made it happen!!! It was such a smooth process! He broke down everything to us and helped us clearly understand everything from the financial side. And a big bonus - Talking to him was like talking to my favorite side of the family! Dude is PERSONABLE!!!!

I m telling y all... CALL THESE TWO IF YOU'RE IN THE MARKET! They will take care of you. So much so, that I would not leave the parking lot until I wrote this review for them! My wife loves her new car. I m happy thats she s happy and safe in our favorite brand of vehicle - Acura. Driving to Texas was WORTH IT! Definitely coming back when it s time for my upgrade!

I had a horrible experience at another dealership the night before, these two totally made up for it! Burl in finance was so awesome and patient (I had a sleepy 3 year old in tow) and got me in and out in no time! What ever you do,don't let Brandon Gusman handle your car deal,he is no good. They actually ran my credit more than what was told, they ran my credit through 4 banks,tried to put me in something I didn't want. They came out to me with payments higher than what I wanted, but when I told them I don't want that payment amount,they the salesman all if sudden cane back and told me the bank said I wasn't qualified,but that was only after I refuse the payment amount...DO NOT HAVE BRANDON GUSMAN WORK ON YOUR CAR DEAL,IM TELLING YOU

I went with my mother here recently looking for a car for my 18-year-old brother who was newly licensed. We were looking for options to attain him a used vehicle. We met Kenny at Vandergriff Acura in Arlington, and it was an experience we will never forget. The team took us under its wings and ameliorated my mother's anxiety and concerns about the financial aspect. With Kenny assuring her with positive regards the safety and durability of the Acura TSX, we felt comfortable to close the deal that very day. Horrible customer service!! Used a bait bar to ger us in the place then told us it was being worked on. Continuously tried to sell us a car we didn't want. When we got them to let us get the one being "worked on" they said it would be ready the next day. We drove 2hours in a storm and traffic to find out it wasn't ready!!again tried to sell us another car! Lied told us they called us. We had 100% financing through our bank and ran our credit and tried to make us pay way more...will never recommend!! Liars and scams

My experience buying a 2019 Acura RDX has been very good. Customer service has been excellent and I didn't experience any unwanted surprises in the purchasing process. And so far, they have been very supportive of any of my needs and info I've requested since purchasing. I recommend this dealership.

Hopefully this review helps out because people usually only post when they've had an really bad experience or just keep the good reviews general. I leased a 2017 ILX for the first time from this dealership last week, and so far I am pleased with my decision. I had my mind set on an RDX when I initially went in, and so far I love the way my car drives and I enjoy the better gas mileage! The staff was very helpful, Terry, Patrick and Burl helped me get right to the point without fluff or trying to butter me up into deal just to get a car off the lot. I felt like I was able to make the best decision for myself rather than being coerced into something that will come back to bite me in the future. I will note that one of the employees was a little over bearing, even though I informed her I was working with Terry from my previous visit a couple of days before. I'm not sure exactly what the deal was, but I will just spin it and say that you should have no trouble getting service at Vandergriff Acura, everyone is eager to help out. Terry was very personable, helpful, and I can tell that he is willing to take his time to learn his customers and their needs to find the best fit but without. I also recommend leasing for younger people like myself (I'm 27) who know they will want or need to switch things up in the next 2-3 years.

Very Dishonest dealership. I have been to their Acura location and the Chevrolet location over the last few day car shopping. They both try to pull the same scam.

They list a nice low price online to get your attention, let you take the car on a test drive, then when they pull your credit and start talking price they add a couple thousand dollars to the advertised price for "things they did the car at the dealership".
Things that were never mentioned in the online listing or during the talk with the sales rep or anywhere else at all.

Its a very dishonest practice and the chevrolet dealership is a bunch of outright liars.

Tried telling me their service department changes them $2K for a oil change, state inspection and to fix an evap code for a check engine light that is caused by a faulty gas cap or faulty solenoid that cost less than $100 and takes about an hour to install and then detailing the car. $6-$800 worth of work at a high end expensive shop. After that said they couldn't negotiate the price on a truck because they had it listed online for the price they paid for it. Which sorry guys, no one is stupid enough to believe that. If you listed it for sale online you had already marked it up. No dealership is going to list a vehicle at cost during the first week it is for sale. When I didn't go along with their scam they suddenly decided " the truck wasn't for sale " after all.

Apparently all Vandergriff dealerships do dishonest business and lie to you. Watch yourself if go to one of them.

I took my Acura in for service because it was making odd noises when driving. I took it in for service and they diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to fix it in a timely manner. VERY happy with Vandergriff!

Julian Conner, at Vandergriff Acura was an exceptional trusted advisor. He treated me as if I was a cared for family member. Julian extended his time and expertise as he showed me all options for the RDX. He explained the differences and then guided me to the best decision for me (when I asked his advice). Julian was not pushy or in a hurry. He did not press me to buy the most expensive option. Julian provided a great need to know tutorial on the operation of the new features. He told me to call his cell if I needed anything. He answered my texts and called me. When I am ready for my next car, I will be going back to Julian. Vandergriff Acura was a pleasant dealership. I was very comfortable. Much better than the dealership where I purchased my old Acura. It was cold and rainy when the time came for me to clean out my old RDX and leave in the new one. Julian went out in the rain to clean out my car. I highly recommend Julian Conner and Vandergriff Acura. Julian is Professional, Ethical, Friendly and Good People! I did not feel as if I was in a typical car-buying-nonsense situation. The longest part of my experience was the time I took to consider each of my options. The deal and the finance portion were relatively painless.

I recently purchased a 2013 Acura ILX and traded in my 2007 Audi A4 and couldn't be happier with my experience! I was referred to the dealer from a friend who loved their Acura they recently purchased at the dealership and I figured I'd make the drive to Arlington from Dallas, and I'm glad I did! I scheduled a test drive with Wade and he was the best car salesmen I've worked with. From start to finish I felt extremely comfortable. He worked with me to get a great value on my trade-in and explained all the different warranties and protections that it came with and all of the features the car had. I never felt pressured to make any decisions and he was extremely efficient and personable to work with during what's usually a long, drawn out process. The finance team even got me a better interest rate! I would highly recommend Wade and the dealership to any person looking to buy a car. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Jeff is the best car salesmen that has ever walked on this planet. He fights for his customers to get them the lowest price possible. Some say they have never heard of an honest salesman but I ll be damned I found one at Vandergriff Acura.

When I went in recently for maintenance repair I was surprised by the experience I had. Dealerships usually make me feel uneasy and as if I was being worked over. I had a very kind and understanding service advisor by the name of Kim who made this experience very positive for a change. While I ended up needing more than expected done in regard to the repairs, she educated me as to what was going on in terms I could understand and all along kept me informed on the process. Going forward I will only see Kim at Acura!!

After looking for months, I bought a certified 2013 MDX from Wade Bragg at Vandergriff. Wade kept an eye out for me on trade-ins and emailed me when they came in. Everything went smoothly from the test drive to signing papers. The car is great and communication during and after the sale has been excellent.

Wade also took an extra half hour during delivery to explain how everything works and also synched up my phone to the Bluetooth system in the vehicle for me. He was very knowledgeable on how the entire center console works. Although they are not to closest Acura dealer to me, I also plan on using them for service when needed. I would recommend Wade and Vandergriff.

Huge shout out goes to Cameron Hosch from the service department. Took my MDX for an oil change and ZAKTAk protection. My MDX looks brand new. Thanks Cameron and the service department.
