Vandergriff Acura Review

I was treated like a Queen when I purchased my 2020 RDX! All the way from the manager Chris Snyder to Brian Smith who helped me with the whole process to Matthew Hathaway to help me learn all the new features on my new car. They are the BEST people to deal with and very fair!! I have bought 6 cars now from Vandergriff and Charlie Evans runs outstanding Vandergriff dealerships!! You have to try them they are OUTSTANDING!!!

You could tell by the tone in Lyric voice as soon as she picked up the phone that she was very excited to help me schedule an appointment that best fit my schedule. When I got ready to check out Sarah glady took care of me with a huge pretty smile on her face. Being able to hear and see employees WANTING to help us customers out is what matters the most!!!

Does not have all the bells and whistles of other Acura dealerships but if you want a great price and good deal this is the place.

I recently bought a 2015 Acura RDX certified pre-owned. The search was made easy by my sales representative, Josh. He made the process seamless (even brought the car from Arlington to Dallas for me!). He is one of the few genuine car salesmen I have met. I went solo for the purchase which I wouldn't recommend to any young female but I did my research beforehand. Robert was great in negotiating the best price for me. Unfortunately, I had to take the car in less then 3 weeks later for a problem with the rear suspension but all was covered under the certified warranty. Overall, I had a good experience and I am happy with my purchase!

Professional staff and nice facility. The salesman who helped me was named Kenny and he was very helpful, professional, and quick with the process.

Jeffery Brown was great! Super helpful! He was very knowledgeable about his stuff and made it super easy to find what I was looking for. Very friendly and informative. Definitely ask for him next time you re here. 10/10

Went to Vandergriff Acura to purchase a new RDX and they were being rude and rushing me and pressing me to accept a horrible deal. Which apparently they said Oh no with your credit history this is the best we can offer you. I refused and I told them I needed more time to decide. I went to another Acura dealership in Fort Worth called Hiley Acura and from the moment I stepped in I just automatically knew I was in better hands. They weren t as pushy, they were more courteous and let me take a look at multiple different models. They really gave me time on my own to get a feel for the vehicle I wanted. The salesman even told me that when you walk in to the dealership and you know what you want, there s no need to be pushy or try to convince you to like something. The best thing is to let the customer truly fall in love with the car they re going to be paying for the next couple of years. Either way, I ended up purchasing an Acura RDX from Hiley Acura with freaking 0.9% interest rate instead of the 3.8% that Vandergriff was offering. Every time I go to the service center to get my oil changes and everything done at Hiley, I always have a wonderful experience. Never going to any Vandergriff again.

Love this amazing team! This is the only dealership I will recommend, especially when you work with Gary V, Chris B, and of course Brandon G. You guys always treat me as well as everyone I send up there extremely well! Thank you all for blessing me with my new baby!

Searching for a new vehicle is always a tricky decision to make, but having someone as informative and professional like Jeffrey Brown really makes it easy! He gave valuable information on vehicle purchasing, though I didn't buy one here, he made it far less intimidating on buying one elsewhere. Fantastic salesman and service!

Overall, pretty terrible experience. Sold a piece of equipment that they knew would never be installed as I don't live in the area. 4-5 months after I purchased the vehicle, still badgering them for a refund.

I truly cannot say enough great things about Vandergriff Acura and their entire team. After looking for an MDX in Austin for a few weeks and discovering that the exact model/color combination was unavailable, we stumbled upon Vandergriff in Arlington. Yes, they had the exact car we wanted, but the real luck was how amazing our experience was. They matched the price we requested and promised to have everything ready for us the next day.

We were a little concerned about making the 3.5 hour drive to Arlington (what if there was a bait-and-switch waiting for us?) but everything went perfectly. The sales and finance teams were ready for us, the car was in great condition and everyone was as nice as can be.

Even though we live in Austin, I will be calling Vandergriff the next time we're looking to buy a car. It's definitely worth the drive.

Both of my Acuras were purchased from Vanderfriff. I drive no less than 30 miles round trip to have all service done. I go to Vandergriff because I trust not only their Sales Staff and Service Advisors, but their front office are top notch and not afraid to step in if needed. If they say they will do something, trust and believe it will be done. I also found that if something is not right, consider it fixed. I will continue to be a loyal Vandergriff Acura customer.

I bought my car here and it was such a smooth transition and I have a great car and they have Great customer service, my Salesman Gary was awesome, very positive about everything, and very accurate and educated, and very patient The whole team there is great all the way to the credit department, being done by Brandon which he did a swell job and the financial advisor Burl, which he worked with me very well on me getting all my information in and he was very patient.

Came out of town looking for a car, Eric took care of me with all the info I needed before I arrived and made sure the car I wanted was ready.

They get me in with a low price quote. I drive 30miles to check it out. Settle everything and when i am about to buy the car the " General Manager" gets a better offer from other customer so decides to ditch me in the last moment. He just decided not to sell the car to me all of a sudden!!

I sold my car and was ready with cash and they left me stranded.
Pathetic service! i would prefer David Mc David, who gave the correct price from Day1.

My suggestion: Do not trust the low balling offers and walk into this dealership! Its a Trap!

Bought a vehicle and realized it didn t have the stock jack or the stock tool kit to remove panels. Asked if they would get those since that s not something I should have to think about when buying a vehicle. The answer was no. 3 days after I bought the vehicle the clutch busted. I talked to them they said they would call back and never did. I called and the final answer was they are not willing to help because I got a good deal on the vehicle. Obviously not willing to keep customers happy. All I asked was for them to buy the part since the labor is the largest portion of the bill.

P.S.
The reply acting like they were willing to help was them trying to save face on this review. I called and they didn t answer so I left a voicemail. It s been 5 days since I called and nothing back. They are obviously not willing to work something out just trying to make it seem like they care but definitely don t.

My experience was the best I have ever had when shopping for a car. Thanks to Jeffery Brown I was able to get a good quote, and I would recommend anyone to go see this gentleman.

I came here not really knowing what to expect in terms of purchasing my first vehicle and Jeffery Brown has been amazing with answering the questions I had. He was very nice, understanding, and attentive. I would strongly suggest talking with Jeffery during your car search.

I worked with Edna Lopez back in June when I purchased my used car from this dealership. Edna was very engaged and very helpful through the whole process. Very competitive trade in valuations.

I heard about Vandergriff from the CarPro radio show. I contacted the show and Jerry Reynolds referred me to Vandergriff and to contact Wes Kammer. I called him and the NEXT DAY had an appointment to discuss my 2016 MDX which the lease was ending. I have driven the MDX for many years and always dealt with one dealership (not Vandergriff). The dealership I had used for all of those years sold. Also, I live in Weatherford and the "construction" drive to that dealership was a mess! So I thought I would give Vandergriff a try. WOW I'm GLAD I DID! After I met with Wes, he introduced me to Kenny Le who was a FANTASTIC Senior Sales rep. He walked me through every step of the lease on a new 2019 MDX. Got just what I wanted and could not be happier with the treatment I was given by everyone at the Dealership from the front desk to the service department! So, If you need a new ACURA, call Kenny Le, he's my guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OH! and the drive from Weatherford was a breeze!

Best experience ever! Kyle Hudson called me, emailed me a video of the car, and made me an amazing deal I couldn't say no too. Then drove my car to the Houston area, right to my drive way. You can't get better than a deal like that!

giving 1 star because i can not give 0. I went to look at a used lexus and was given a 8000 dollar offer for my trade that had a KBB fair price of 11k for trade. I shopped around other dealers and they all offered 11k-15k for my trade. Go to Mac churchill they have better deals, better salesmen and they do not try to rip you off on your trade. This place is a joke. seriously if you go there first make sure you shop around after to get a comparison. I would suggest anywhere but here.

Johnathan (Sales) and Patrick (Sales Manager) were amazing from beginning to end. They were extremely knowledgeable when I turned in my lease to purchase another Acura. They were both professional, patient, and upfront with my payments. I was able to get a great car and payments that I was satisfied with! I shared my story about the issues I had with Mac Churchill (closed) and the dealership that took over, and they were very understanding. The customer service was on-point which made my experience well worth the search and the wait! Financing was a breeze as well!!

We recently purchased a pre-owned 2016 MDX from Vandergriff Acura and wanted to express how easy they made it with our purchase. The entire staff made it such an inviting atmosphere from the minute we walked in the door. Our sales person was Travis Nguyen and he really took time to explain all the options on our MDX and it was obvious he knew his product extremely well. We will definitely be buying all our vehicles from Travis and Vandergriff Acura.
Not to mention, we had to bring the MDX back to have a spare tire installed and they were equally as thorough. They even brought our car back to us when the work was completed.

I am writing this review to make consumers aware of Texas law. If you purchase a used vehicle from Vandergriff Acura and decide you don't want it they will not let you return it. They were very nice until you sign the contract. My salesman was Chris he was great. The management I can't say the same about. I felt like they don't sale to have a customer for life but just once. I will never buy another vehicle here. Mr. Ellis I have sent you two emails and no response. So do you really mean what you say about customer satisfaction? I don't think so. I'm sure you will respond to this because it's on Google.

My husband got a letter about refinancing and we immediately came in and wanted to inquire about the offer since we have had a hard time trying to refinance and we have bad history and experiences with buying vehicles. We were immediately greeted as soon as we pulled up. And we were offered snacks and beverages and also kid friendly. My son didn t want to leave had plenty of toys to keep him entertained for a while. we were immediately helped by Lenny Gomez. Our experience was overall awesome. Lenny was great! So we went in not knowing we would be leaving in a newer truck. Lenny was such a good Sales person. He gave my husband reassurance Of trusting Vandergriff to purchase his new vehicle. I've been shopping around for a vehicle for couple years now, I could never make up my mind until I worked with Kenny. He made the process very easy and worked with me. Exceptional customer service. over all great experience.

After posting a 5 star review I am now reposting with a negative review. Later after my purchase I seen a hard credit inquiry on my credit. After checking, I found it had come from Vandergriff Acura. The first thing I told my salesman was I had my own financing. Your finance Dept. ran a HARD pull on my credit without my permission. I had specificly told finance I was not interested in your financing and did not give permission nor sign anything to the fact. Running a HARD pull on your credit in my circumstance is illegal, and I will seek legal action on this issue. I have called twice to discuss this issue with you and have gotten no responce. My wife and I have bought several vehicles from Vandergriff Acura, but that will no longer happen. Hopefully this review will help others who choose their own financing before the walk in the door. I will not let this go. I just hope that this won't happen to others like.

Cameron Hosch and the team at Vandergriff Acura did a great job taking care of us recently. We live in Mckinney so the dealership is really far away. We appreciate that the dealership realizes this and has created a free concierge service that we can use for our service needs. The concierge driver can out and picked up my wife s vehicle. The service department kept us informed of how things were going and the dealership returned my wife s vehicle to us the following day. Literally got everything taken care of on the vehicle and never left my house! That s what I call customer service!
