Room smelled a bit musty, but other than that the bed was comfortable and the meals were delicious.

Good hotel, good facilities, spacious rooms. The locker service is easy and agile. The transfer hotel-airport - hotel very good and with many schedules available. There is a Casino in front of the hotel, for those who like to play. For being distant of everything, I found expensive the value of the daily

Nice location. However, keep in mind the limited 'free' parking. As if you haven't tapped enough with the operator of the hotel / restaurant.

Hotel chain Van der Valk in mind always offbeat. Although we feel that the hotel is aging and will need a renovation soon, it is nevertheless very pleasant. The services are of a good standard, the wellness area is very pleasant and the restaurant is perfect for the gargantuan breakfast as well as for lunch or dinner. Very comfortable rooms. Top !

great food, great rooms and excellent customer service (best steak I had in a while)**
BUT the pool is dirty, foggy, shards of glass, skin hair and bandaids cover the bottom of the pool. It caused my daughter to catch pink eye from the pool.
My suggestion, a better filter or another pool needed for a hotel of this size
ALSO Cudos for having a large parking lot, however be WARNED for handicapped, kids or people who need assistance this hotel is not reccommended, you can t park in front of the hotel and you may get a spot that requires a bit of walking, checking in with a child I would have rather pay a valet extra money to park my car than get scolded by a bus driver for parking where I should not. This hotel could be a 5 star hotel, if it addresses its valet service, lack there off and addressing pool cleanliness.

Nice hotel we stopped in a new part. Good service of transfer to the airport.

Spacy rooms. With balcony. Located in the same fenced area with hotel Schiphol so that we can use their nice jogging track. There are various fitness equipment along the track.

Spacious suite..wonderful bath ... excellent breakfast ... despite the distance from the center we didn t have any mobility problems..the free hotel bus takes you from the airport which has a metro to Amsterdam Centraal station

KLM covered our stay here as our flight was delayed. We found the hotel facilities very good. The wet suite was new and performed well and the food had a very large selection.

Family Hotel de Lux, spacious family rooms. It is a very big hotel, it is always busy, but worth it! The hotel is located directly on a rest area on the highway, so it is easy to find. You can get to Amsterdam via the shuttle bus. The hotel has a large pool, sauna, steam room and fitness room. Very convenient, that everything is close to each other, so the parents can take turns. In the evening we were in the rest area eat, there is something for everyone to choose from. The breakfast buffet is a dream, any needs are covered, be it cereal, omelette, veggie / vegan, fruit, bread, eggs, etc., etc. We have been here four times and would gladly come back a fifth time.

Great good hotel. Friendly staff, spacious beautiful rooms and a nice view towards Schiphol. Large TV's in the room with a super clean picture. The beds are perfect. Also a cozy bar for the evenings. And in the morning there is a super tasty breakfast ready in the restaurant. Been there many times now and I couldn't think of any downsides. Very satisfied customer ... 10 stars for me.

Typical vdValk hotel. Decent rooms and facilities. Nice breakfast. The staff is also correct and helpful. The only real disadvantage is that it is quite large, uncomfortable and aloof, but you don't go to a vdValk hotel for that. Especially for the business traveler I can recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel, close to the airport. Good food. Park and fly is the ideal formula for a relaxed holiday. There was also a nice Christmas atmosphere in the hotel.

A comfortable and huge hotel, super strategic to reach the center of Amsterdam there is a shuttle that has schedules all day until 10 pm to go to the airport and metro station.

We had no toothbrushes in our luxury room and of course no toothpaste. Not really luxury, that's the policy the reception said.
Furthermore, nice rooms, breakfast was also well arranged. Everything was neat and clean and well organized.

Nice hotel, where you can come with a pet, nice rooms, bathroom grazing, bar, swimming pool, gym. A good place for car trips. Although zadupie, you can get there by bus. Next to KFC and Burgerking and other highways bars, and a gas station. Despite the proximity of the highway is quiet, and you can lightly ignite on the balcony. There is a great free parking lot. Nice bar and nice girls. Not far from Amsterdam. The only thing missing is the rooms could be small fridges.

Good service around breakfast and extras such as the wellness. The rooms are nice luxury. The location is less convenient, but this is made up by the shuttle every 40 minutes to and from Schiphol Airport is no charge. Top stay.

Ideal for the night before departure. Fast check-in / out. Clean room, and with the shuttle in 15 minutes on Schiphol Airport! Relaxed on vacation.

Nice hotel. Conference rooms bit far from the rooms. But it also has advantages.

Nice and big the common space on the ground.
Rooms are ok if you have in the new area, otherwise if you have the old one ... forget them for the price you pay.
Heating is not working as I wish, and even noisy.
Personnel working in the brasserie is OK, in the front desk ... OK but could be more smiling.
Generally speaking good, but too expensive.

Still a disappointment for me. I know Van de Valk well and this is definitely not a favorite for me. Room in the old part. I thought the newest runway of Schiphol was long taxiing, but the walking distances in this hotel are also not wrong. The internet is really out of date and business wise, this is really a loss. 4 times try to call reception and unfortunately did not get through. Room is neat and clean, no problems with that and bed is comfortable. Next time I will opt for a little more service. (staff friendly)

Super service! Just landed at Schiphol, asked for the shuttle. It was there within 15 minutes. Stayed here last week so we could get to Schiphol on time. It just turned out that we had not booked the park sleep and fly. At the rate that applied at the time and were able to drive out. Since we were supposed to stay the night but the reservation we had made for tonight had already been canceled, we decided to drive home immediately. We were offered a cup of coffee before we drove. Super good and cooperative staff and extremely friendly

The drinking joint BRASSERIE has a very wide selection of liquor and local beers!

The hotel is very strange, the decoration is abstract, mixed colors, nothing fits, but the rooms inside are very spacious and comfortable, large mirrors, very spacious rain shower, everything very clean, balcony with armchairs. Comfortable bed, heating works very well. Free shuttle bus to airport every 20-40 min. No fridge.

was a forced guest due to a delayed KLM flight. If you're with KLM rather than a paying guest you will get a horrible outraged room with poor facilities, poorer service (was told no other rooms available despite being able to purchase one and had to argue when there were issues with our room) and basically be ignored at dinner. The place is in SERIOUS need of updating.

I had the Top suite; but it was not so; bath, sink, shower cabin was not clean on arrival ... TV channels did not work, no music, no atmosphere .... afterwards unfriendly, had no deposit due to suspicion of smoking while we were always in the cold on the balcony to inconvenient. Unfortunately complained but to no avail, no response. UNFORTUNATELY!

The location of the hotel is good, super close to Schiphol. I reserved the spacious family room with two double comfortable beds. The rooms are quite and comfortable.

There is a nice swimming pool and gym, however no bathrobes, slippers and no towels at the swimming pool which means you need to exchange clothes in the swimming pool and put your clothes in a locker. Don t forget to bring your towels like we did because there are simply no towels at the swimming pool, bummer!

The check in procedure with super friendly Helen was one of a kind. Totally disrespectful, impolite and rude. In front of my kids she was pretty aggressive and her language was totally not what you expect from a host. Luckily the day after I didn t see her anymore.

The rest of the staff I met was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is always good at Van der Valk. Pretty extended and good quality. Peak hour is at 1030 at the Sunday.

Parking is for free and very spacious!

I would give a 5 star if Helen the host would communicated in a normal polite way. Maybe good to sign up for a Schouten Nelissen course, wont harm.

What a beautiful property. Typically a van der Valk project. We arrived in a beautifully renovated room. Option of long parking taken. Recommended. Costs nice and low and rested on vacation! !

A really nice building under reconstruction. The SPA area is an interesting solution when you are staying outside the city center. Last time I was here about 2 years ago. Only what you can complain about is the distance of the new part from the main reception.

Very nice hotel. We stayed 2 nights in an "I am Superior" room and very impressed. The rooms were super equipped and very clean, the whole hotel was very classy decorated and maintained, the pool and spa area was also very clean and relaxing. The shuttle runs every 40 minutes for free to the airport, from there you can reach Amsterdam without problems.
We will definitely consider this hotel on our next visit to Amsterdam!

The Volk hotel "Schiphol A4" while looking like a motorway motel is an excellent hotel, the rooms are excellent for the price and the restaurant serves some of the best food around. Staff are helpful and pleasant and always willing to go out of their way to help. Based only 15 minutes from Schiphol airport it is easily assessable by their free shuttle bus or by taxi. (Word of advise if using a taxi, use Uber from the airport average prices by Uber are about 20-25 and by airport taxi 40-45) this is our second visit to the Schiphol A4 first we drove from the UK and made use of there free parking and second visit we flew into Schiphol, both times have been treated well and the rooms where immaculate.
