Very good ambiance, excellent appearance, friendly staff and delicious food. Recommended.

For a few times a year it is quite fun but then it really gets boring schnitzel fish steak but always busy there boring menu and fries and mayo in a tube is also not what it has been? Unfortunately not every change is improvement also served boring vegetables often cooked through.

Spacious rooms, breakfast with all the trimmings! Highly recommended!

A typical, modern Van der Valk location. The meeting and training facilities are really great.

Just neat restaurant / hotel with friendly staff. Directions but the hotel are unfortunately poorly marked. The staff is very expectant (or too busy). Sometimes you have to wait a very long time before you can place an order. Once you have succeeded, it will be served quickly. The food is good with a normal price.

We booked this hotel for a weekend in Rotterdam.
You enter a beautiful lobby where the royal family plays a leading role. Staff is friendly. After we got out of the elevator with our room pass, we ended up in a room that was very much like a (dome) prison layout
An open stairwell in the middle of the walking area and everywhere you look you see doors with numbers next to it. The walls are bare and white, but the remains of the wallpaper show that there was once something there. The hotel is about 13 years old (told reception) but seemed older. The room was fine. Bed lovely (slept well) and the bathroom is more modern than the rest of the hotel. Each room has a suite pad (very handy and fun!). The chat function with the reception works well, but you can't see what you're typing (technical thing). Packed washcloths were not standard in the room (I think is special, I am used to differently in a Valk hotel). After chatting, they happen to find two more packaged washcloths in the basement.
Breakfast was good. Due to Corona we were served at the table. We were very curious how that would go when we were told this at check-in. But a well-stocked etagere and a porcelain bowl with sandwiches is a good intermediate form. Of course you can order hot dishes
It is extra hard work for the staff! So hard they couldn't keep up despite the time slots they use. @management do something about this! The result is of course less than what you get with a buffet, but the whole is a good start to the day.
Conclusion: lobby has a chic look but gives false expectations when you walk to your room. For a good night's sleep you do have a good bed and before the start of the day you have a good breakfast.

Good restaurant and meeting facilities! Always nice coffee with something extra. And a good lunch! Been several times and always good.

Good and neat hotel. Friendly staff who are ready immediately, if you have a request iod. Rooms spacious, bathroom spacious and clean with separate shower and (bubble) bath. Good breakfast in the morning, what more could you want

Great food yesterday with a group of 8 people. My daughter has to eat gluten-free. They do not have an allergen card, but the dish was modified gluten-free for her. So nice that this is possible.

Had a wonderful baby shower was all taken care of including decorations. Good price / quality.

We come to this hotel for the 10 times. We like it very well. There will also come an 11 times.

High tea consumed. Unfortunately bags of tea, no loose ones. Delicious savory snacks, scones unfortunately without jam. Etagaire not very extensive, but fine in itself. Furthermore, friendly service. Unfortunately not worth repeating.

Great value for money , spacious rooms and comfortable bed.

Good location and excellent facilities. Level of dinner can just take that one small step ....

The first coffee was very bad, but was charged. Moreover, around our table all kinds of junk and crumbs on the floor and empty bottles and glasses were only removed after we had placed our order. Has all been better.

Visited on a business trip to Ridderkerk, and was more than happy, there is a cross-trainer & cycling machine in the communal area to exercise for free. The morning breakfast was a good continental buffet (with fry-up option to if you so wish), and the restaurant in the lobby area was fantastic. There is also a great walk by the canals within a minute from the front door.
The rooms were clean and modern, mine had a wet room which i assume was reflective of all the rooms, the only fault I had was there was no tea only coffee in the room but the staff brought up everything as soon as asked. All in all made for relaxing evenings after working :)

Good food in the restaurant. Spacious rooms with spacious bathroom. Great staff. Downside are the pillows, which are lumpy and may be a little stronger.

Great hotel, just a bit of a nuisance at 3 o'clock in the night from a lady who was screaming, which made us sleep badly.

I can only judge the service and the room / room. The service was fine, nothing to complain about. The room was large enough and had a nice atmosphere and decoration.

I ve been here for having a brunch with my whole big family for my granddad s birthday. But, the services are fast, the foods are AMAZING -like you ll have ALL foods you want, from tiny fruit, ice cream, salmon, kroket, beef.. and they all taste delicious! The bathroom is clean, the parking lots are spacious, the employees are all super nice, and overall the lobby (because I ve only been in the lobby) is also neat and nice. They have the king and queen paintings which are awesome.

The food was good, service was friendly. Price quality was okay.

Nice hotel and good food. Brunch is also possible for groups from 12:00 to 15:00 good and very extensive buffet cold and hot.
