It's an okay store. They have much stuff to choose from. More than the jumbo. But the only reason I go here is when I want an specific kind of candy or ice cream they don't have at jumbo, or when I want to buy liquor at gal&gal. The reason I only go then, is cause the lines are sooo f** long. They have like a billion cassier registers, and NEVER open a new one. The cassiers are usually grumpy, and not helpful at all. Like they hire people who got rejected at other supermarkets.

Shopping in this AH xl is fun. However, the checkout is annoying, because it takes an unnecessarily long time. Annoying, delaying and customer-unfriendly questioning whether you want purchase stamps, promotional stamps and a receipt. Even if you come more often. Kassa does not know its good customers! It is better to pay at JUMBO from now on.

Albert Heijn is one leading supermarket in the Netherlands but it is also one of the worst supermarkets in the Netherlands, too! Since C1000 supermarkets died out in 2012, Albert Heijn has no more competitors. Every week you find no more discounted products except some useless, crappy and unwanted Dutch products. You will find that Albert Heijn keeps repeating their discount lists weeks after weeks. Most of the discounted items are yoghurt, soft drinks, Lay's chips, etc. The Albert Heijn staff cashiers always have difficulties to scan customers' bank card. It seems to me that they NEVER clean their bank card reader! That's why the card readers are so dirty to read properly! Their staff only know picking up plastic baskets and put them back to entrance, nothing more than that! Each time the cashier makes a mistake, he/she has to wait for the supervisors to roll back the data. It always holds up the line for 5-10 mins which wastes other customers' valuable time.

Neat shop extensive range. Miss the last two cities because you are often in long lines at the checkout, which I could accept at a budget store like Lidl, action etc. But I go to AH for the service and in my opinion you pay for that too.

This is a very good market place with a lot of shops where you can get all kinds of household items, groceries, craft items, books, hair salon, ice cream parlour and many more. This also has an XL Albert Heijn where you get good deals / bonus for the members.

A huge range of products. It also has auto checkout using the hand held scanning devices or using the mobile app to check out the goods. Very huge but also sometimes difficult to search what you are looking for.

This supermarket is very easy to find because it is very visibly located at the Woensel Shopping Center. The range is very wide, the staff is very helpful and they have more than enough options for self-service.

Very large store, fresh and high quality products, more expensive compared to lidl or jumbo.
Many staff is working and waiting times in the cashier is minimal. You may also use the scanner yourself to pay for your shopping.

This Albert Heijn is a so-called "XL" type. It means that it has a more extended line of brands and products than a regular AH. This AH XL is a bit older and more worn-out looking than many other XLs, but it still has a good assortment with regular prices.
The big upside of this AH XL is that it is strategically placed in the shopping center and that it offers plenty of parking possibilities for cars and bicycles. Therefor it is easy accessible and comfortable to do your larger shoppings.

Overall I give this place 4 stars because of the slightly old fashioned interiour and shortcomings for a modern XL. The AH XL on the Limburglaan in Eindhoven is much more updated and gives a better shopping experience. All in all, this place is perfectly fine for daily groceries.

Older type of Albert Heijn XL and therefore more no-nonsense...
Large selection supermarket products and long opening hours. There is also a system that allows customers to scan their products themselves and save time at the payment counter. Large parking available for small fee.

Visit today was a bit disappointing. Bonus vine tomatoes were moldy. Organic Perla coffee dark roast is almost never available, even today. Toilet blocks Ambi pur purple not available. Logistics today leaves much to be desired. For weeks Quaker oatmeal off-white was out of stock. Overall pleasant shopping, staff are very helpful. Range and appearance excellent. Today thanks to bonus and hoarding action 25% discount.

Is ok
