Have dinner there unexpectedly. Later in the evening. But were still very welcome. Food was good for a very reasonable price

For business appointments very suitable not just to drink a cup of coffee

Nice hotel, great rooms, very good breakfast selection, friendly service, free parking in front of the hotel. I felt very well. Top!

Super well-kept barbecue. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the spacious garden. The food was of very good quality. Unfortunately the coffee passed my nose because of the long waiting time. Furthermore, a very successful company outing.

Really long wait for your food. The ragout was already coming out of the croquettes. Fried for too long.

2 weeks ago we had here our annual staff meeting with 250 people. Van der Valk Ridderkerk is very nicely and modernly furnished. The room was big enough for several people, both during the presentation and during the dinner, which is also part stood in the hallway and which subsequently were sitting. The food was (as always at Vd Valk) excellent. There is also ample free parking and everything is very clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Delicious eaten. Good service and everything served exactly on time. Friendly service. Enjoyed it very much.

Accommodation, dinner incl drinks !!! breakfast and transport to and from Ahoy .... Top arranged. They regularly have these promotions for when there is something in Ahoy or elsewhere in the area. Really recommended

Nice hotel with a super breakfast .... once on the way to the room it has a prison appearance but the rooms are very neat and nice! You can make nice trips in the area and Ridderkerk has a super nice shopping center! Still more people coming back

Extremely friendly receptionist. Almost special, big compliment. Nice restaurant. Modern rooms with large bathrooms and easy lounger. Conference rooms well equipped with a caring manager who responds quickly to wishes. Now the access trimming and ease.

We went for dinner on Wednesday 14th August with 3 people. The food was VERY GOOD. Both the starter / main / dessert were excellent. The service good and friendly.

Sunday afternoon brunch. Concept is fun, moderate implementation. Hot buffet is of poor quality. The cook bakes the burgers, but it is clear that he did not make them himself. That can be found almost everywhere. Lots of ready-to-heat food. Cold buffet is, we cut a rose from a tomato then it seems t. Great tent if it had been 1988.

This hotel of the well-known Van der Valk chain was opened in 2007 and is located at the intersection of highways A15 and A16 in Ridderkerk. I regularly receive guests from abroad for my work as a project manager in the Europoort. Some choose a small hotel in, for example, Brielle or Rozenburg, but most go for this strategically located business hotel. I was able to stay there for a night myself and can recommend this hotel to everyone. It is sleek and modern; nice terrace at the back and a great restaurant. I couldn't complain about the facilities: well-stocked minibar, laundry and ironing service and free WiFi throughout the hotel!
I have also used the meeting rooms in the hotel several times. I also received positive feedback about this from the invitees. They are fully equipped meeting rooms and we had a drink afterwards, which was arranged down to the last detail.
This hotel is highly recommended for both business and pleasure. For example, if you want to visit an event in the Rotterdam area and you don't want to spend the night in the busy, parking-unfriendly center, then this is a good alternative. The next morning you will be back on the highway back home. The prices of the Atrium and Executive rooms are in line with the market; comparable to the room rates of the other major hotel chains.

Nice hotel very clean, nice food, the breakfast compleat and much choice, very good service, location is perfect 10min from Rotterdam close to the highway.

Stay overnight in Ridderkerk for the weekend away. With the express bus and metro we were quickly in the center of Rotterdam. Van der Valk is always good. Just a pity that we had to have breakfast at long tables. Not cozy at all as I'm used to.

Went there for lunch with some colleagues. The service and the food was great, for a good price. Would definitely recommend.

My food (shrimp cocktail, veal liver) was fine but my mother got a schnitzel that was crooked from frying and much too hard for someone who had been married for 60 years this day and eventually ate the leftovers from my father's sole. The service was not impressed and just counted it ... I found that very disappointing!

Nice hotel centrally located. Free parking and easily accessible along the A15

The food quality at the live cooking buffet was reasonable only after one and a half hours the hot food was cleared away, this was a big disappointment because we paid for three hours
