Van der Valk Hotel De Bilt - Utrecht Review

Good room, nice restaurant with nice, courteous service.
Breakfast was good.

Recently had a brunch, for my taste very dated, is out of date, coffee from a thermos, yesterday lunch was really not tasty, I think this is the least vd falcon. Everything is very dated, but the public there is perhaps, I think, only older people.

Good food, nice restaurant also to get a meal served quickly. Attractively decorated and plenty of privacy.

Great place for a course or study day! Lunch is extensive and good un buffet style. Only the noise from the busy road is less.

We had booked a Christmas package at this van der Valk location; The food was good, the service was friendly, the environment is very nice.
What we regretted was that no one from the ministry seemed to know what the Christmas package entailed; we had to explain ourselves each time and indicate that we had already paid ...

Top hotel, professional staff. Very accessible by car.

Booked a special weekend for my sister who is turning 60. Ordered flowers to have them delivered to her room. Called the hotel twice to make sure everything is going well. The hotel is also considerate and puts out a card with congratulations on her husband's birthday (how do you make this up?).
Just expressed my disappointment to the hotel.
I'm going to find out what went wrong, that's all I can do for you .

It is a pity that customer first unfortunately does not work for the staff of this hotel. I expected a different response from a reception.

I hope my sister and her husband are not disappointed further.

I had good experiences with this hotel and do not think that this action happened in the spirit of van der Valk.

Had a nice meal with my Father as always been coming for years.

It is a very nice hotel the food is delicious nice environment, but the shower jet is not so hard so you can rinse your hair very hard.

This restaurant is in a location that is easily accessible by car.

The food is good for a good price

Was there for work. Food and drinks, well cared for. Clean toilets. But it remains a massive affair.

We had to wait several hours before we could go back to hospital. We got a lovely spot and were well looked after by the staff.

Operation friendly and fast. The dirtiest cup of chocolate milk ever drunk. First only half a cup was served. When I said something about it, I got a new one with the excuse that the machine was almost empty. What I tasted then was plain water with a color. Horrible!

Friendly staff with a homely appearance as well as the design of the restaurant, the location is rustic located on the provincial road. The kitchen brigade should try a little more to finish the menu with the example of the pork tenderloin ordered medium and executed as a dry mouse tail and dessert chocolate truffle cake with orange ice cream without any decoration.

Always plenty of space outside and the dogs more than welcome, receive a large bowl of water. Really super hospitable ...!

Beds are not comfortable, pillows are so thick that you almost sleep upright. Restaurant expensive and little choice

Hotel chain always well attended. Superb room of 25 m2 mini. Spacious bathroom .. quality restaurant .... warm welcome. Very professional ..

Rooms are very warm. Lunch good but the evening food mediocre

When I wanted to pay the waiter said that I had to pay 33.50 without a receipt. I have done that. But I also wanted the receipt. He could no longer print it, he said. After some pressure I still got the receipt. 29.10 was the amount to be paid. So I return. Immediately got my money back. So he wanted to sell me 4.40 euros. Rarely experienced I must honestly say. Very bad. So pay attention at the Biltsche Hoek !!!!

Smooth operation table but cleaning after use by previous guests must be specifically requested and then is done with a single small anecdote, the story with a cloth and she was gone again! Small piece of table clean rest was dirty! ??

Good value for money. Friendly staff. Free large parking. You do not have to book in advance, but at busy times this is highly recommended, especially if you come with more than 2 people. There is even an indoor swimming pool where you can swim for a fee, without being a hotel guest.

Very disappointing. Operation far below par. No knowledge, very slow, when serving the main dish that was served too late, the empty glasses of the aperitif were still on the table. In between, and that was more than an hour, we were only able to have a second drink in stages after much ogling and that was also brought back 25 minutes later (after inquiring). The two stars are exclusively due to the kitchen. The starter with marinated fig was excellent.

As you can expect at Van der Valk, everything is available. Business or private use of restaurant, rooms, bar or meeting room ... all top-notch with neat service-oriented employees.

Beautiful hotel WITH swimming pool. Very friendly staff especially at the reception and breakfast, other staff also greet you friendly when you come across them. So you really feel welcome! Delicious breakfast!
And nothing to complain about ??? Maybe some (artificial) plants in the swimming pool? Gives a friendlier appearance !!
