Van der Valk Hotel De Bilt - Utrecht Review

At the reception not adequately treated, concerns a misunderstanding about earplugs

One of the most Amazing hotels I ve ever been. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious. I always enjoy my time there.

Great restaurant for larger groups or family meals. Wide choice and good quality, service friendly and helpful. Tip: do not ask immediately after the last bite if the plate can be taken away, that is too hasty.

Tonight we sat at the Easter buffet of vd Valk De Biltse Hoek.
To be fair, since Christmas they've improved a lot.
More supply and less waiting and more staff.

You have really positively surprised us now.

Lovely family room, everything was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a good breakfast and the dinner was fine, except for one point because the children's menu with the pizza was very poor.

The food was good, the service was not good. Uninterestedly hunted and not tidy. And that's neatly said ..

Good service, everything just fine, but meeting facilities are outdated.

The room is excellent and finely furnished.
Nespresso like machine for coffee and tea in the room.
Brand new bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Being all new it is bright and very clean thanks to the excellent room cleaning service. 5 star rating.
Room with plenty of space and nice interiors with exposed brick corridors, swimming pool.
Elegant restaurant to the left behind the reception (there is another one on the right that I have not tried) expensive and subdued both in terms of food and service. I was not happy. For the rest excellent structure that I recommend.

Very pleasant, cozy, friendly service, clean, spacious room with a wonderful bed and fully equipped (tea / coffee, fridge, a vending machine in the hall where you can get soda / snacks)

Nice hotel, nice that early in the morning there is an opportunity to use the swimming pool. And pleasant location in terms of collision.

A typical Van der Valk that remained in the 1980s, including the same menu and quality of the dishes. Staff generally good although a drama cannot be excluded. Hotel rooms recently renovated but offer little luxury for the requested price. Pool present heavily dated and sometimes not cleaned properly. The public that comes here has generally exceeded the retirement age, the business market is already leaving here. Enough alternatives to be found in the area.

Great hotel. Good vibe as soon as you arrive and extremely comfortable nice big rooms. Staff bent over backwards to welcome and especially over Easter weekend when the hotel was packed, the weather outside was wonderful and they were stuck inside working. The attitude and hospitality towards guests was outstanding. Thank you for a terrific stay, I will only ever pick this hotel when visiting Utrecht.

You have to deliver something and lose your trailer. Are there any of those smart guys who then block your trailer when you have to leave? And the employees of vd Valk indicate that they cannot do anything. It is a pity that it is normally used to vd Valk.

I went swimming there. Very small but cheap. Spacious restaurant. Mostly friendly staff. Wonderful hiking trails in the area. Bus stops in front of the door.

De Biltse Hoek is again one of those branches of this hospitality company where life is good.

A nice dinner with French onion soup and generously filled pasties. After this coffee with a moor cup and good pumpkin. A tip for the attentive youthful good service.

No windows in the meeting rooms. The lunch was fantastic.

Like to drop by from time to time to spoil ourselves every now and then.
Always friendly and correct service.

Sad.. the Schnitzel are always that good. 18.50 with some bacon onions etc. Here is worse than in the first snack bar close buy. Totally not the Van der Valk spirit .. cheap all over

Lunch buffet lots of choice and good food. Friendly service that clear the tables. It is a pity that only one person had to do everything at the hot buffet, so he worked his way around and we had to wait a long time.

Delicious food, despite the crowds, the service was very attentive.

Pleasant and very friendly service. (As usual). Acoustics is a little less for a quiet conversation but otherwise great.

As soon as I finished the varied and rich breakfast, the cuisine was phenomenal and the quality service and the rooms are relaxed and old and good old age.

A very standard van der valk. Great for business meetings, otherwise not special.

Nice location, nice decor, modern and the atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly.

Pretty nice and relatively inexpensive hotel. Directly on the street. Swimming pool available to guests.

Restaurant lets you go back in time. Operation was not alert. We were regularly 'forgotten'. They did not have Cola Zero, but that was the same as diet Coke? Food was not really special.

Excellent dinner, fine and extensive breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
It's just not possible to sleep. No ventilation, so too stuffy. Or open the balcony door, but not sleep from the noise of the adjacent provincial road. In short, eat here but not stay overnight. (Update: it appears that an upgrade is possible for rooms with air conditioning)

Nice hotel, nice rooms and a quiet location. Very visited by seniors

There is a lot of space between the tables inside. There is a full menu. There has always been a spacious terrace. The food is still fine. The parking lot is well attended.
