Booked a special weekend for my sister who is turn...

Booked a special weekend for my sister who is turning 60. Ordered flowers to have them delivered to her room. Called the hotel twice to make sure everything is going well. The hotel is also considerate and puts out a card with congratulations on her husband's birthday (how do you make this up?).
Just expressed my disappointment to the hotel.
I'm going to find out what went wrong, that's all I can do for you .

It is a pity that customer first unfortunately does not work for the staff of this hotel. I expected a different response from a reception.

I hope my sister and her husband are not disappointed further.

I had good experiences with this hotel and do not think that this action happened in the spirit of van der Valk.
