Van der Valk Avifauna Review

We were asked at 14:00 if we wanted the lunch menu. We wanted a nice cool drink. When our glasses were half full, the bottles were already cleared and when another person was still drinking, the other glass was already taken away. Very bad. Not worthy of the Valk. We are not coming here anymore.

Had a nice boat trip. Unfortunately not with a large boat, but a closed one. Consumption prices very high considering the quality of the consumptions.

Well cared for, complete, nice staff and great food!

Super hotel not too expensive, affordable, nice bar and of course the park

Nice big room with toilet, bath and a separate shower.

Simply because there is much to see for young and old

Very good and cozy, the food is nice the service is good and the people of the service are nice the games on the cupboards are fun. the stay is excellent otherwise you will not stay until closing time

Avifauna is a beautiful exotic bird park, really worth it. Do inquire if it is very busy. Especially on the weekend with warm weather.

Restaurant looks fancy and the food is good too. The prices are a little bit expensive tho.

Avifauna is a nice place to go if you like birds. It is perfectly maintained, the birds look happy and healthy and the bird show is a must.

Clean, quiet, welcoming. I can't talk about price since I was on a business trip and I didn't pay. Definitely strange to see an African animal park from the balcony !! The ostrich wanted to eat my cell phone

Nice weekend away to avifauna with overnight stay at van der valk!

We had booked the Christmas brunch on Christmas Day for our family. We were 15 adults, 10 adults and 5 children. Then you assume that you are sitting at 1 table. But unfortunately we were spread over 2 tables without having been notified to us in advance. Was not nice and therefore a damper on our family outing.

Delicious eaten in a cozy environment. Friendly service and a wide selection on the menu.

Steak perfect. Mixed Grill too bad for words. Absolutely not worth the money.

Live cooking. Enough variety, slightly less choice than at other "all you can eat" restaurants but certainly good food and drink. Nice that you can also enter the bird park in advance

Last week we were introduced to the completely renovated rooms !!. And I can only say that the rooms have a very high level of finishing !!. And the bed is an experience in itself !! So a must !!.

Nice swimming pool with nice slide. Water is very salty or has a lot of glory.

Nice boat trip through the beautiful surroundings of the green heart. Cozy captain with a lot of explanation!

The park, playground, boats and mini cars are very enjoyable.

Booked the most expensive room in the hotel. Very nice bed and a very nice sauna. Bottle of bubbles in the room and breakfast in bed. Free access to AVIfauna. Very good, but not the luxury that you expect for a substantial amount.
Jacuzzi smells like a sewer when you turn it on. Doors that do not close properly. The entire hotel was refurbished, so Polish workers everywhere and the floor taped in the corridors. Staff were not very welcoming, but unfortunately that will be due to the time in which we now live.

Hotel is great and is really great right on a wonderful bird park, you can visit for free. But if at 3 nights not 1x the room is sucked, let the floor tiles in the bathroom wiped, that is quite poor and a bad room service.

Always good food and good service for a reasonable price!

What a poor and associate staff present on the boat! Customer friendliness is hard to find, especially with the 2 elderly ladies with a short spicy haircut

Delicious eaten at the Avifauna, have been coming there for about 25 years and it has never disappointed me. Also very nice for the children in the playground (I also feel like a child again!)
