Kinda borning but what do you expect with this kinda world right now?

Very dark inside and not too many options for eating.

I love shopping there, amazing stores and amazing choices for food! I love every thing in it and always spend money more than planned, especially in forever 21

Who doesn't wanna go to the mall. Even just window shopping is the best. gotta love the stores options

Great indoor mall. Mostly clothing stores, could use a little more variety there. A mall without a drug store? A little unusual.

It's a mall. I'd rather pass a kidney stone than go to a mall.

Great place for shopping over all. Food court is outstanding. Only issue is the pretzel place by spencers puts out a burning chemical smell that makes me serously physically ill.

Clean, easy to find, lots of shopping choices. Love the movie theater!

One of my favorite places to shop. The variety of stores available and the occasional events make this a guaranteed shopping enjoyment.

Best mall in the area for clothes shopping. They haven't remodeled the flooring and some other features in well over a decade, but it gets the job done.

Big mall, lots to see and do. Biggest Macy's I've been in, everything is clean and well maintained. Nice food court and great cinema.

Decent size mall. But to me you seen one you have seen them all. Pretty much all the same stores, Clean, busy, I was visiting from West Sacramento CA and needed a couple of things so went in.

Love this place for Spencer's and Hot Topic. A hot pretz w/ cheese is a must every visit

One of my favorite places to shop. Been going here since I was a kid.

I really like coming here because the Gateway Mall is absolutely s***. And I hate to put it that way but they have really gone down a harsh spiral they have gotten rid of half of the stuff that used to have and it just seems like an empty huge 5 block radius building. I really love the Valley River Center they have everything I need and I can come in and get something and head right back out I also like the fact that it's really close to where I live.

It is alway so family friendly and we go just to stop by the play area!

It's mall.... But good stores and lots of selections.

Nice mall, has a lot of shops and such. There's also a cinema and a play area for kids. There's plenty of parking too. :)

Good mall overall; but we need a couple more cheaper shopping/eating options.

Large shopping center with a couple big stores like Penny's and Macy's...also has good restaurants adjacent like Red Lobster, Olive Garden and BJs

Valley river center is nice but I wish that they never took out chills because they wanted to be selfish with their money (VRC owners). Every since they took out chills I stop going to the mall and realizing how broaing it really was

So many good spots all in one place. Ample parking and something for everyone!

Well, it is the only shopping mall in Eugene so it is not bad for shopping.

Wandering through headed to the bus stop piece of advice: all the vending machines are cash...or "tap and go" (pay with your phone) kinda machines

Very sad to me! Valley River with the most Grand Mall when I was little in 1977 78 when my brother was born in the 80s it was so well taken care of they had everything that was new and nice. Now, there are red plastic shopping carts in JCP hangers everywhere clothes everywhere it looks like my cousins closet when she was in high school is redonkulous! The bathrooms were filthy my mom made me go to the bathroom on the other side of the mall. Valley River Center itself during Christmas there were five stores that I'm aware of that we're doing their blowout closeout sales leaving because it was so nasty it's too bad

The shops while mostly well stocked was very very pricey. And the staff at Macy's was difficult to find when we needed them. The movie theater had decent selection of good movies and as expected the concession stand was over priced. How ever the staff was friendly and helpful.

The only real mall left in town. The place itself is decent, with lots of space to stop and just sit. Although it would be nice if they had wifi through out the mall.

I love to go there. You can shop then grab a bite. We don't have a mall in our town.

Great movies, clothing, hanging out is always a blast. Check out the famously notorious wetzel pretzels. So amazing!!

It's a mall. It's got mall-like stores and mall-like people. And of course, mall-like prices.

It has a wide variety of shops an restaurants. Friendly employees, cleen well lit.

So. I must say. Had pretty darn good parking lots! Smooth...mostly and so well lined! Was the perfect spot to meet a random person I was meeting from Facebook to exchange $8 for some goods. I thought, "Wow! I feel safe here!" Was just as great exiting as it was entering!"

Is ok. The food court is ridiculous now. Not much to choose from. Used to be A LOT better

Like that it is indoors and lots of shops and food to choose from.

They used to be great, then they got rid of the riding animals and boba tea. There are a few good places left, but none that are worth the drive.

Parking lot was being worked on pretty tight trying to park.

So till you drop! Fun for the whole family!!This is somewhere is definitely visit again and recommend to others. It's really a place the whole family can enjoy! Really good shops and not a bad place at all!!!

Excellent Bible book store. We lack one in our community.
