Valley Pediatric Dentistry Reviews

All 3 of my children have been going to Valley Pediatric since they were little. Many years ago, when we initially started with the practice, initially I was a little concerned that we didn't have the same dentist or tech each time we were there based on scheduling & their staffing model.....but I quickly learned that with their consistent level of expertise, professionalism, warm bedside manor, all awhile providing the best care EVERY TIME - to us, THAT quickly became more important than seeing one consistent individual on every trip. The ENTIRE staff is wonderful. My kids love going there! They are not developing any "dentist fears" and they never feel intimidated or scared. We have 3 happy patients (even despite some cavities :) !!! )

My son has received wonderful care at Valley Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ben and his staff provide excellent care in a friendly, comfortable environment. The entire office from the lobby to the exam rooms are cheerful, kid-friendly, and immaculately clean. Dr. Ben and his staff have a great rapport with the kids and put them at ease about any treatment that is needed. As a parent, I appreciate that Dr. Ben and his staff take their time in speaking to me about my son's dental care plan and answering my questions.

my wife and I recently brought our 6 and 8 year old sons to valley pediatric dentistry. We are extremely pleased with our experience. The staff from the front desk was very warm friendly everyone smiles. The office was very clean and was decorated so well for kids they had a small video game section, a nice clean stocked coffee and beverage counter for everyone. The procedure rooms very clean and all where different themes kids loved it.
Doctor Ben was very nice,kids where at ease with him very fast .his work was excellent, he handled both of my sons issues (one son some drilling then a cap other son extraction) with confidence and compassion always talking to the kids making them comfortable. Technician Ellie was amazing with my son she answered everything was a very positive and upbeat which is what u want in these situations keeping the kids in good moods .my wife told me the technician with them was also excellent we are glad that we found the Wright place . I would definitely recommend this office to anyone.

I have been bringing my children to Valley Pediatric for for over four years and have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is wonderful with children and professional. The environment is child-friendly, offering enough distractions to make the experience fun! The staff really goes above and beyond to make the child and parents feel comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend Valley Pediatric Dentistry!

Excellent dentist office . Everyone from person scheduling to the dental hygienists ( Sara and Jessica thank you!) and ofcourse Dr Ben were extremely courteous , knowledgeable and patient with my son who was getting a small procedure done . Everything was explained carefully and patiently and my sons mind was put at ease . Never did we feel rushed. Dr Ben provided excellent care and explained what to do next. I recommend this place highly to anyone needing care for kids and especially any with special needs or extra assistance required .

Our families first experience was exceptional from the very first phone call to make apts. The receptionist whom answered was helpful with my schedule and they got us in quickly. When arriving for our first apt the office was clean, kid friendly and we were greeted with a smile. My son was very anxious about his cleaning and asked his hygienist Gina a lot of questions. Gina was exceptional throughout the visit. She made sure she went over every detail and made him feel comfortable while being accommodating to him. Dr. Ben had a great bedside manner and went over any concerns we may have had. My son was so excited to have received lots of take home goodies and two gifts for being a good patient. I would recommend Valley Pediatric Dentistry over and over. They were great all around!

Clean and friendly office. First time visit for my little one and he walked out happy and confident that he wants to return. He wasn't pushed into doing anything that he wasn't comfortable with. He really enjoyed his visit. Will definitely recommend.

Dr Chris was AMAZING! He was so good with my 6YO who was very nervous about his visit. Dr. Chris made him feel comfortable and did a BEAUTIFUL job.

We were referred to dr Ben through a friend of ours to diagnose a tongue tie in my 13w old daughter. As a first time mom I was beyond terrified to think my daughter would need oral surgery at such a young age, and knowing how I wanted to save our breastfeeding journey I knew I had to make the appointment. Dr Ben was one of the most compassionate, respectful and understanding doctors we have ever come across after meeting him for the first time! We weren t expecting to be able to get the procedure done in office that day during our initial appointment but we were so comfortable with Dr Ben that we immediately went through with it. His entire staff was so wonderful through out the initial visit until our follow up visit to see how our daughter was healing. I highly recommend Dr Ben and his staff for all your child s dental needs! We anticipate this office to be our children s dentist once we get some teeth!! Thank you Dr Ben!

A HuGe shout out to Dr. Ben and Cate were Amazing with my son who typically gets anxious at the dentist. My son didn t feel a thing and the best part was that he allowed Dr. Ben to do a second cavity without hesitation. We have been there before and love love love Dental hygienist Beth- who is also freakin amazing!!!! . I think we will be leaving our other dental facility that our insurance actually covers It s worth it to have a calm cool happy kid after. What a great team! Thanks a bunch!!

The entire staff at Valley Pediatric Dentistry is amazing. I brought my toddler son to their Hopewell office for his first dentist appointment. He does not do well at his pediatrician appointments at all. Needless to say, I was very worried about how he would be at the dentist so I warned the staff ahead of time that his first trip may not go over so well. From the second we walked in the door, they we so accommodating and friendly. They made us feel like we had been coming there for years. My son had such a great experience and couldn't wait to tell everyone about his trip to the dentist. The office was also very clean and kid friendly. I cannot say enough great things about this office and the staff.

Dr. Ben was great with my seven year old. She was nervous but he calmed her nerves and treatment went without an issue.

We love Dr. Krobath-What a great addition! Dr. K as most patients call her, is the most caring, kind orthodontist. She explained every step of the process and what to expect on the upcoming visit. We never felt rushed or that we were a number (or a dollar sign). She is super patient and connects very naturally with every patient. Her staff is just as friendly as she is. I highly recommend Dr. K for all of your kids that have brace's! Thank you for the great smile Dr. K :)

Dr. Ben and the whole staff is amazing! We have been going here for years and everyone is so welcoming. My son recently had a frenectomy and Shinera was awesome for the pre and post-therapy sessions. She even went above and beyond by checking in after hours and on the weekend as well. We just saw Dr. Chris and he is so great with kids. Can t say enough positives about Valley Pediatric Dentistry!

By far the most amazing dentist office I have dealt with!! The staff is beyond friendly and caring! everyone from the ladies at the front desk to the dental assistant to Doctor Mensah are helpful and caring, They answer every question and concern I have. I wouldn't bring my children anywhere else!

It's always a great experience coming here! The front desk staff is always full of smiles and interacts with my daughter! It's mind blowing the set up when you walk in, the coffee station, game station, charging station and the fun floor things!! The rooms are set up with different themes that my daughter loves! Cartoons are always playing, the dentist is always warning and reassuring. It's a really great place. I've been taking my daughter here since she was 11 months old. They're so informative and I highly suggest this place to everyone!

Dr. Ben & the staff at Valley Pediatric Dentistry are wonderful. They have created a fun and comfortable environment for my children when they see the dentist!! My son & daughter love the waiting room with games, the kind dental hygienists & the token to get a prize at the end of the appointment!

Dental Hygienist Ellen is amazing and made me kids feel completely at ease with the x-rays and all that had to be done for their cleaning. Dr. Mensah is AMAZING! My son needed some major dental work completed and she told him everything before she did it and let him see and feel the tools that she would need to use. She made sure he was comfortable and listened to every question and concern.

They are always inviting and pleasant. The hygienists are wonderful as are the dentists. My son used to be terrified of the dentist but, because of the care he has received at Valley he now LOVES the dentist. We would highly recommend them for any kids in the local area.

So happy we decided this is where we take our 2 and 4 year old's to the dentist. The entire staff including Dr. Ben and the dental Hygienist are very patient and caring. My boys were very nervous, and they just took their time with them and worked their way to getting their cleanings done. The office is very clean and so much fun for the kids including, room themes, many televisions (in which the staff was very accommodating to put something my boys like to watch on), and reward system (they get a coin and get to pick a small prize from the machine before leaving - this is a great hit for my kids). I wish I had dental experience's like this when I was younger! Definitely a great place to bring your children. I would highly recommend!

Dr. Ben and staff are the best. I would only bring my three kids to Valley Pediatric Dentistry. I ve been to Jefferson Valley and Hopewell, both great offices.

My daughter had an unfortunate diving board accident...Valley Pediatric was not our primary dentist office at the time but squeezed us in to accommodate my daughters injury. I was initially comforted by the office staff who immediately contacted the dentist before they closed for the night. The dentist then reassured me that all was well, and scheduled us for an early am appointment the next day. The office staff and dentist (Dr Julie and Dr Chris) went above and beyond to help my daughter. The level of compassion and care was astounding to a Mom who was anxious and upset. The staff helped to set up appointments with Oral Surgeons, and made sure to follow up on post care appointments to cap my daughters teeth in a timely manner. We are beyond thankful for the entire Valley Ped team, they felt like angels to our family during a unnerving time. I will now trust them with all of my children s dentist needs.

Valley Pediatric Dentistry is amazing from your call to make an appointment, visit and anything else needed. I have been bringing my two children here for the last 5 years. The staff is all friendly, helpful and truly caring people. Dr. Ben is amazing! My 7 yr old son had some battles with his teeth the last few years. From root canals, teeth being pulled and cavities. Dr. Ben has done all his work on him and I can t begin to describe how amazing he is. He is fast and tells you the truth of what he would do if it was his kid on any work that needs to be done. Even though my son might know it might not be the easiest visit. He still gets into that chair knowing Dr. Ben is helping him. If you need a local pediatric dentist. This is your place!! Thank you to all the amazing staff!!

The staff here is great with kids! They are very friendly and understand that the dentist may be intimidating for some kids. They do a great job!

This was my 2 year olds first dental experience. I'll start by saying this place has a wonderful, kind and caring staff. They made what could've been a stressful situation a lot easier and were very comforting to both myself and my daughter. My daughter is Autistic and they handled her so gently that I'm confident in bringing her back in the future.

We are very pleased with all of our experiences at Valley Pediatric Dentistry. The staff makes each visit enjoyable. They are very knowledgeable and have encouraged good dental habits for our children.

My Daughter's first dental experience at Valley Pediatric Dentistry in Hopewell Junction was AMAZING!! Dr. Eric was pleasant and made her feel so comfortable. She smiled the whole time! The staff was amazing as well. One receptionist, whom I didn't meet in person, took note of me telling her that my daughter was excited to see the dentist because she wanted a cool toothbrush like her cousin and she made sure that my daughter had an extra special toothbrush at the end of her visit. The whole staff was very welcoming. I am happy I chose them. My daughter wanted to go back to the dentist the very next day. Amazing, amazing staff. They have TV and games for the kids and coffee, magazines, and a charging station for the parents. They are friendly and kind to each child and take the time to explain every detail to you. My daughter gets nervous when she isn t sure what to expect. They are very patience and make sure to make it such a fun experience. Every employee who works there is INCREDIBLE! They are so sweet and amazing with kids. I honestly wish they took adults because it s such a great atmosphere! I recommend them to anyone who has kids!

I have a 9 yr old son that is beyond scared of the dentist. Now that being said he went yesterday and met Dr. BEN, what a special man. Dr. Ben is beyond patient, he is funny, and just a great guy. My son had a very large cavity in a permanent tooth filled. He walked him through everything and gave him nitrous to help keep him calm. He got to watch Netflix too while doing it. Such a great experience overall. I highly, highly recommend this office and especially Dr. Ben. They are phenomenal!!!

Valley Pediatric Dentistry is by far the best children s Dentist in the Hudson Valley! The staff are warm and friendly and make your child s visit very enjoyable. We have been going to Valley Pediatric Dentistry for many years. Dr. Ben is amazing with children and really focuses on the child and their needs. The administration staff and the dental hygienists and warm and friendly. I wouldn t take my children anywhere else for dental needs.
We especially like tie dye Tuesdays where the entire staff dresses in tie dyed clothes!

Dr Ben was absolutely wonderful with my son. He was very patient and knew exactly how to talk to/interact with him to get his sealants done. My son left happy and excited he did such a good job being still! I m very thankful Dr Ben made sure to put my son on the schedule with him in particular so the sealants were successful. Much appreciation!!!

This is a great office to take young ones. There is a quiet corner for video games, the floor is fun for dancing, and they give the kids a surprise when they are done. In addition, there is an assortment of conveniences for the parents too. It's a great office and they make you extremely comfortable during your visit. I love it so much. All of my kids are patients. I recommend it to everyone!

Such a great experience. My daughter was complaining of tooth pain and her pediatric dentist couldn't see her for a week. I called Valley Dentistry and they saw her the same day and scheduled the follow up appointment for the following business day. everyone was so kind and they truly have a way to keep children at ease at the dentist. highly recommend!

I have used Dr. Ben for both my 7 year old and my newborn when she had her tongue and lip ties revised. He was always very gentle and respectful with both kids. My older child definitely appreciated the way that Dr. Ben and his staff took the time to talk him through the procedures he was having done and making sure he was comfortable before actually doing any work. I highly recommend this dentist's office.

We are so glad we were referred to Valley Pediatric Dentistry. They have been so gentle & patient with our daughter. We cannot say enough about the staff from the office staff to the hygienists to Dr. Ben & Dr. Mensah. We highly recommend them to anybody.

Dr. Ben was amazing to work with. We brought our 8 day old baby in for a tongue tie procedure and while we were there Dr. Ben took the time to fully evaluate our son and found that he also had a pretty severe lip tie as well. We were able to do both procedures the same day and Dr. Ben made sure to take his time to go over the procedure with us, as well as the after care, and he truly put our minds at ease. He did a great job releasing our sons tongue and lip tie. He gave us his personal cellphone number to contact him if we had any concerns after the procedure and made sure to provide a follow up call with us the next day to check in and see how our son was doing. He also had us in for two follow up appointments to check that his tongue and lip were healing correctly. I highly recommend Dr. Ben.

Having been to several pediatric dentist offices, then coming to this office for a second opinion in regards to extensive work my daughter needed I am so glad I did. Such a happy friendly office. LOVE the big open 3 chair room for basic appointments, it really relaxed my girls seeing other kids (some classmates) getting their cleanings too. I also what to express how honest the Dr was, when I came for a 2nd opinion he could have raked me over the coals saying she needed all that the previous Dr told me, but he didn't. He told me exactly what she needed which was quite some work but not as extensive as thought. Thank you to all the Drs and staff for being so wonderful!

Valley Pediatric is a wonderful office for children! The office is colorful, inviting and they did special things such as silly sunglasses during the cleaning, a token for prizes and stickers that my daughter really enjoyed! I was really unsure of how she would react since this was her first appointment but they made it into a fun and easy experience. On our way out she told me, "the dentist is really fun"! It meant so much to us to have such a positive experience at her first visit.

Always a pleasant experience from the front desk staff, to thevdental hygienists and the dentists as well.

My son has had a tooth ache and we were ultimately told he needed his tooth extracted. They scheduled us for a tooth extraction for us in the morning. We skipped school to get this done, and the dentist stated he needed to be on antibiotic before so he wouldn't be in that much pain and so wouldn't do the procedure. She never informed us prior that this would be the case. Now he's can't get it extracted for another week, he's still in pain, and will have to miss another day of school to get it scheduled. Expect to get jerked around

Our 10 year old son is incredibly comfortable with everyone at Valley Pediatric but especially with Beth his hygenist and Dr. Mensah! The staff goes above and beyond for you here and even tackles the dreaded insurance claims.

Great Experience! My son still talks about Diane his dental hygienist. Loved how she took a few moments to introduce herself, and make my son feel comfortable with her before she took him in the back. More doctors offices should practice that habit. This helps children feel more comfortable with being at the doctors office or dentist office. Well Done :)

The office has a very welcoming and friendly vibe. Dr. Ben is very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with young kids. I can see that he cares about his young patients. He goes above and beyond to help resolve any issues and difficulties that my son had with his teeth. I switched over to Dr. Ben from another local pediatric dentist who was rude and unprofessional and I am so glad that I made this decision. I will definitely recommend other parents to pick him as the preferred pediatric dentist.

Amazing care for pediatric dental emergency! My daughter had an accident involving her two top front teeth on a Saturday afternoon. I called the office to leave a message on the emergency line. Received a call back within 30 minutes. Dr Ben agreed to a brief video chat to determine the extent of the injury and upon deciding that this needed to be examined right away, he met us at the office along with an assistant within the hour. He calmly and expertly examined my daughter and explained everything to us in detail before executing the procedure.
Both Dr Ben and his assistant were extremely pleasant and professional and gave up part of their Saturday for us. I would highly recommend Valley Pediatrics and Dr Ben. He went above and beyond and showed true care and compassion! Both my children love going to this dentist for their regular visits and after today I am even more certain that they are in the best of hands.

From start to finish it is always a great experience at Valley Pediatric. They go above and beyond to make both parent and child comfortable with learning about the dentist and establishing good dental habits. My daughter is always excited to go get her teeth cleaned and I m happy that she is not scared or resistant about going. The staff - from the front desk to the dentist - is beyond pleasant and everyone is always smiling and happy. The office is super clean, has WiFi, coffee and water, a charging station and a bunch of things the help keep the kids entertained while they re waiting (I ve never had more than a five min wait and that s because I ve gotten there early). I would recommend them all day every day. We love them.

As a mom and family therapist I honestly wish I could give them a 1000000 start review. Such care and dedication. I was beyond impressed with how they clearly take kids introduction to the dentist in such a compassionate way. If I could go here as an adult I would. I have never liked the dentist and this experience was fun. Your kids will love it here. Mine asked to go back ASAP it s so fun. Also my 4 year old is now flossing for fun. Talk about life changing.

Valley Pediatric dentists and hygienists are friendly and professional. We've been going there for 5 years and have only had positive experiences. These experiences have made going to the dentist a positive experience for my kids.

My family switched to this practice a few years ago and we are glad we did! The staff here is friendly, accommodating and extremely efficient. Every experience we have had has been stress free and the knowledgeable staff is supportive, detailed and not pushy. My child just visited. Due to family issues, normal visits make it incredibly difficult when it comes to my child. Linda and the rest of the staff at Valley Pediatric were so accommodating and wonderful. My child was happy and was so positive about his experience. I was informed of everything that was occurring and given so much peace of mind that my child was being taken care of. Thank you so much! Thank you for also supporting me as a mother!

We had a great experience with our 16-month-old. There was no wait, and the staff was incredibly friendly and patient while answering all of our questions.

2019 Genuine, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and very kid friendly staff! One of their goals is to end on a happy note. That is definitely achieved when my 3 year old daughter visits. I LOVE that they include her in the process Which tooth should I start on to clean? This business came highly recommended to us from friends and we would highly recommended it to all!

2020 My 4 year old had another amazing and successful experience -this time with COVID precautions in place (which they followed wonderfully). The dental hygienist, Amanda, was so genuinely sweet toward my daughter and walked her through every step of the cleaning. She also complemented her during the exam, making her feel very special! For X-rays, she let my daughter feel the bite guard to make her feel comfortable. She also answered my questions very clearly. Our dentist, Dr. Ben, was very kind, thorough, and patient with us! Overall, we had a very pleasant experience with experienced and professional staff from check-in to checkout. My daughter arrived in tears. She was scared to death to get sealants, and fill a cavity. She suffers from severe anxiety, so she can be extreme. They got her in the chair, and started sweetly talking to her. Showed her on her hand what they would be doing, let her be involved every step of the way! She was a rockstar! Thank you to the wonderful staff, who knew exactly what to do, to make my girl comfortable :) Success!

Dr Ben is always great with my kids!! He has an assistant Tanisha who is also amazing!!! Thank You guys for always being great!
