The hotel was just large, the rooms nice, tidy, constantly being renovated. Terrible heat, everywhere sand, corals, all fish, beautiful snorkeling right by the shore, very much food, drinks, ..... And that's why we drove here - SO SUPER !!!!! I point out the lady who made pancakes during lunch (especially garlic fantastic) and also an incredibly fun, assertive bartender at the IBRAHIMA pool bar - she is a smuggler, our girls were excited .... we all spent together, without a virtual world. During our stay 50% of Italians, 40% of Czechs, the rest of France, Poland, Germany, .... Not one citizen of Russia ..... I would go right back, at least twice a year, a small piece of paradise in the great desert.

It is very far from Marsa Alam and millions of mosquitoes and there is not much variety in food, but the workers are nice and the food is good

Hotel is fine, typical Egyptian food. Purely. A beautiful coral reef near the shore. Sandy pebble beach.

Price performance is right ... Nice little hotel to chill out. Had new bungalow room after extra charge was really nice. Great house reef very friendly staff and clean. There was something for everyone. The complex itself is a bit older but did not bother us. Tgl fresh towels .... And again the house reef is great

A very nice hotel for those who want to spend a wonderful diving holiday. The rooms are well appointed and all have air conditioning (good at 39 degrees in july). The food is varied and the waiters and staff are friendly and competent. The local dive center, Eurodivers, is top notch. The house reef is one of the best on the Red Sea. You can also see thousands of fish, rays, shells and corals in all colors and shapes when snorkelling. We were there for the second and certainly not for the last time.

Once upon a time ... How the ratings differ ... Well, I've been to the Utopia for the fourth time and I'm totally disappointed. How can some reviews result from the fact that a lot has changed ???
I mean, a lot has changed, but in a negative sense. The new Vera Club integrated in the Utopia (only for would-be rich and beautiful Italian citizens) has ruined the Utopia. Let's start with the food ... 8 years ago it was first in Utopia, and then the food was really great, and now? Just a small example: For breakfast there was initially for three days e.g. B. spring onions, black honey, different jams etc. suddenly only two kinds of jam, no onions, no black honey etc. anymore. But half-dried parsley and dill bunches. Complaint to the manager didn't bring anything, but we were told that there are now three, instead of two types of cheese compared to earlier . All in all, the food always tasted the same. The best is and remains the baked flatbread in the beach restaurant.
The founders for the deterioration of the hotel are obvious, since half of the staff for the Vera Club has been withdrawn.
Otherwise everything is still ok. Had a Superia room this year, these have been newly renovated and are tip top. The staff is also really nice and friendly.
Diving center as always everything was great.
Unfortunately, a very big drawback is that the great house reef is suffering more and more from the masses of snorkelers and divers.
So, ... Conclusion: What should I say ... If something doesn't improve soon, I won't visit it again, and I won't recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately!!!

This complex consists of 2 hotels. Hotel Pensee, which I would rather not comment on, and Hotel Utopia. Hotel Utopia is of an older date, but it can be seen every day that there are reconstructions, repairs and maintenance of the entire complex. The smiling manager Ali K always has some credit for a pleasant and trouble-free stay.
The animators, led by the tireless Dasha, the eternally smiling Habashi and the breathtaking pyroman Hesham, also contribute to active recreation.
Another advantage of this area is the undestroyed beautiful coral subsoil. Access to the water is sandy and gradual, compared to other resorts in Marsa Alam. So no pier! The resort is home to a prestigious diving center (PADI) with Czech instructor Eva. You can also book a trip on quad bikes, horses or camels directly on the beach. Let yourself be pampered with massages, manicures or pedicures (everything is tried and recommended!). Only water attractions (such as Parasailing, or riding inflatable bananas, etc.) can be forgotten here due to the dense coral subsoil.
The noisy diesel engine was mentioned several times in the reviews. We had room 219, so we were very close and I admit it's noisy. But once you close the room door behind you, nothing can be heard and sleep will definitely not disturb you.
Thank you to the whole hotel for an unforgettable stay. I believe that I will return to you again and I am already curious how new you will surprise me. Good work!

P.S .: Tip for Ali K .: Cancel Wi-Fi charging! Or at least take care of stability and expansion throughout the resort.

Very nice hotel, with many rooms. Upon arrival, you will be picked up immediately by the local staff (receptionist), who are at your disposal throughout your stay.
After a few hours you will receive the keys, a bracelet (all inclusive) and the right holiday begins for you.
The local area is dirty, but there is nothing to prevent you from enjoying your holiday to the fullest.
Inside the resort, there are several bars where everyone can do their own thing (from alcoholic drinks to non-alcoholic ones).
At the back of the resort, the sea opens up to us, which is beautifully clear and suitable for snorkeling.
Pool lovers will also enjoy themselves here (there are several slides in the resort).

You will always be stopped during your stay by several local people who offer you various services (whether snorkeling, massages, etc ...) it is a "business" for them.

Also a cleaning service, works here very well.
You will return to your room during the day, you have new bottled water on your table, tidy, swept and ready for further relaxation and peace in your room.

Nice hotel for us, we just don't like that even though we put "bakshish" in our passport, for a better room, we got a nice hotel, where the toilet was constantly flowing and it was impossible to flush.
The only welcome we would blame for the hotel and therefore 4 *.

The beach is fantastic, half sandy and the rest has the house reef, there is one spot amid the corals where the sand is starkling white reminding me Matrouh's sand, it's not popular and at the deeper end which I usually enjoyed by myself. Put on some snorkels and look down and you will never get bored, I saw sting reys, corals that change color, huge shells that close when you swim near by, not to mention the unending colors of fish.

The place itself is so beautifully designed, the walking path to the sea reminded me of Dahab, everything is accessible, my room was sea and pool view which was a blessing to wake up to such beauty. Try to walk up early and enjoy the sunrise on the beach, I have watched the sunset almost everyday as I wouldn't get out of the water untill they announced that the beach was closed. The room is regularly cleaned every other day which was quite enough, you can ask for more of you need.

The restaurant is very good, staff were helpful and chefs were graceful, I have never tried bread as tasty as the fresh baked bread you will eat there, food was always well cooked, tasty, obviously clean, the varieties weren't the best and I am sure they have seen better days prior to the pandemic. The desert was always to die for, alas only one portion was served and not as much as I would have liked. Also a major disappointment was the plastic cups where they serve you sodas barely 100 ml cups, I almost cut down my consumption of sodas while there because I couldn't really enjoy getting refills all the time, which may have been a good thing after all lol.
P.S: Never miss the pizza snack at El Fayrouz restaurant, it's fantastic, I missed it the first few days because it's served just after lunch and I was usually full, big mistake, huge.

The bar served nescafe and late as part of all inclusive plan, not the best I tried but good to have. You get a small water bottle every morning in your room and one at each meal which is obviously not enough but you get to refill from the restaurant or the bar.

We stayed at the Utopia Beach club from August 15th to August 23rd 2019. It was hard to come back to reality, a unique, magical, beautiful place. A vacation to repeat. Utopia WONDERFUL village, very friendly and helpful staff, all speak Italian. Very clean environments, good food, for all tastes, very clean beach and crystal clear sea with coral reef on the shore and colorful fish that swim around you, a unique spectacle. Beautiful excursions (abu dabbab, super safari and luxor) really deserve a lot. IT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY WE HAVE MADE UP TO NOW AND IT WILL REALLY BE REPAIRED TO UTOPIA BEACH CLUB

Hello I would like to advise you to book as a German tourist in this hotel. We were there last year and were also very satisfied. That's why we had booked a bungalow again about 4 months ago. Today we got an email that we can not get a bungalow, but a double room with garden view. - Class - :-( Based on the recent reviews it is now obvious that all bungalows are only available for Italians, in other words they have just withdrawn our booked bungalow Our decision is certain and we recommend you all negative reviews since approx Half a year to read! This is just an info what happened to us.

Utopia note hotel, great hotel which has changed a lot, in a positive sense. Plant and rooms have been renovated properly. Also in terms of the kitchen, I was pleasantly surprised. It is a pity, that from the end of April for German guests no bungalow available. The hotel should be divided, the bungalows for Italians and the main building for the Germans, each with its own reception. This will cost the hotel many long-time regulars.

It was very nice again! We are a group that like to meet there.
Unfortunately there has been a change over the last year!
We have always lived in the bungalows, some of the group for 10 years! Unfortunately, this is no longer possible because these were assigned to an Italian tour operator!
Therefore one star less!
Otherwise everything was as before - good food, very nice staff.
The massage treatments in the newly built spa center were just great!
Gladly again!

Utopia Beach beautiful and distinctive, the room always neat and clean. Even the kitchen of the restaurant lacked nothing, only that it is not suitable for those with food intolerances. Waiters all friendly. Animation always cheerful and nice. Excursions a little expensive.

I stayed at Veratour Utopia Beach from September 21st to 28th with my husband and a couple of friends. I would like to point out that the international village is a part has been taken over by the Veratour and partially restored. The cleanliness there was my room was perfect, the gardeners were there everyday, the staff very helpful, I had problems in the room immediately solved. Very good Italian cook, reception and staff and guides very prepared and always available. Very good buffet food plus freshly made pasta and fish or grilled meat. Theme nights with Japanese or Egyptian cuisine. I would still like to remind you that we are not in Italy so there is no complaining. Animation super Gianrico animation chief, Mikhail Niki Anita Noemi Victoria Luca Eugenio Werther, fantastic, very sociable engaging but not intrusive. Beach accessible to all with daily towel change. There is a spa, bazaar hairdresser, souvenir shops, clean and well-maintained swimming pools. The only flaw the pier at the beach leading to the boats for sea trips or simply to admire the coral reef is not practical and accessible, should be redone. A dream for divers and snorkelers. Early in the morning you can sometimes watch dolphins. The house reef is a dream. Water 31 degrees in 20 meters depth 16 degrees. Water crystal clear

The house reef is amazing. We have just returned from the 17 visit since 2006. Everything says yes. Bungalows have all been renovated. The food is good too.

I stay from the 23rd to the 30th of June the very old structure, small restaurant so there was no room for everyone, so we ate outside, in the evening it could also be pleasant but at lunch time it was very hot. More inside the restaurant there a flutter of birds that can be on food as schifoso.Nella to our room we found in a lot of Jacki those lizards that roamed across the room we will have had at least 6.Il staff did not know a word of italiano.Vacanza to forget..

Should be brilliant with nice pools and sea. Atmosphere is toxic. Feel like you have to elbow people out the way to get food, which is mostly inedible anyway. Wine is undrinkable. Beer is delivered in a thimble which you are allowed in designated areas, for example nowhere near the sunset. Rooms were nice and big but everything about the hotel is stingy.

Went there for snorkeling and diving. Great reef, accessible directly from the beach. Hotel itself is also good, a bit older, but clean. The staff was very friendly and courteous, the beach and grounds were well maintained and clean. The food is good. One could reduce the consumption of disposable cups. The diving center there is really great, good guides, German-speaking guides. Only the power generator could be insulated a bit, as it can be heard a bit loud in the left wing of the hotel. Distance from Hurghada about 2.5 hours, but you will be compensated by the reef.

We were very satisfied. The hotel has met our expectations.

Every thing in the hotel is bad, especially food, rooms, and housekeeping services for a Peugeot every two days ... and the individual is not satisfied with a small amount of water in the meal, meaning in the day less than a liter of fresh water from the hotel .. and drinks are not anything but Pepsi and ships, everything is with money, even industrial juices with money and no snacks By God, this hotel is not a sandy beach, but this is not, frankly, it deserves to remain in the category of 4 stars. Other 3 da even the swimming pools are two working and the others are not working and small, that is, the hotel is already dark at night and the bars close quickly. If one wants Pepsi in the first place, I will not find anything but eating. Every bad thing. If they eat disgusting words, you literally eat every thing except for the power. Honestly, this hotel has pure tissues, not in the bathrooms and in good health. I don't really know the hotel.

We are already 4th day and we evaluate further.

Service-Very nice, non-imposing what is welcomed by us. Nobody bothers you in shops like in other hotels. You do not need flags to protect yourself from undesirable intrusions from local tour sellers. The waiters are very nice. If someone wants to give a tip. it can be put into boxes on bar counters, which we first encountered in Egypt. The gastronomy manager is present all the time among tourists and always available to help.

Bars-

The lobby and the cafeteria are a total surprise - climate !!!!!!!! .Even in the 5 star El Malikia it was not like that. Everything served in glass -plus Nice service.

Bar in the water - small and constantly crowded by the same regulars for several hours, which suggests that they do not take care of their physiological needs outside. It is difficult to get a drink for yourself or a child. Swimming pool ok all day sunbeds.

Sunset Bar - between the pools and the beach of a higher standard. Drinks served only in glass. Coffee from the coffee machine very good. Service very nice.

Here a nice surprise for dinner only in T-shirts and very good. Cool shaded with a thatched roof and, additionally, windmills.

Small pebbles are better to have shoes. On the right side there is a giant swimming pool for those who want to lie down and do a little lingering.

On the left, the entrance to the bay is a bit of a reef and there are some fish for undemanding ones.

Food

Compared to El Malikia and e.g. Elphistone it is a fairy tale. Tasty seasoned soups. Tasty beef and chicken. Not so tiny pieces, only everyone wants and as much as they want. Nobody secretes food. We eat lunch on the beach with a variety of dishes and not like other hotels only burgers.

There is a lot of food.

There are still almost no Poles. Only one family with children.

Evening entertainment - much richer than in hotels which I compared the animators run it differently. much better .

The stage is displayed at the tables in the sunset bar, so you can watch the tables at the tables and not on the stairs.

For drinkers :) they serve drinks in 250 ml glasses and not 100 ml disposable as in other hotels. Beer only from a bottle !!

Overall: a big plus for the Utopia Management Board for a well-chosen team of employees. Nobody imposes itself and everyone is helpful.

Excellent village of Veratour, the rooms a bit dated as well as the bathroom, to be reviewed, inserting the classic shower in the toilet, a solution adopted in almost all villages in Egypt.
The beach is nice even if a little crowded in the sense that the umbrellas are too close.

Perfect resort with adorable design and view... First line on sandy beach where you can do snorkeling to see all red sea colorful fishes.
Food is good with variety everyday.. They have different types of desserts with perfect taste... Staff are very friendly and helpful... They have perfect bar inside the pool.
Rooms are very clean..
Daily party, cinema or karaoke with animation team " Hope ".
Place is suitable for families, couples or friends.

It was a nice place in Quseir before Marsa Alam . There was a variety of delicious food specially the Mexican food. The reception and reservation team were very helpful, cheerful . We enjoyed the animation team in the morning and their show at night.

A wonderful place for children. Depth-free reptile for grubs full of fish. I don't even need to talk about the temperature in this location. More info and photos on email :-)

Always a place where I find peace and relaxation. I charge with diving in the bay and long walks in the surrounding desert. No danger no nuisance of local people. All very controlled, also suitable for children

We found it very nice there. Food was ok. Room was always clean, everyone was nice and friendly. Diving school Euro divers is in the hotel and you can go diving from the beach.
