Once upon a time ... How the ratings differ ... Well, I've been to the Utopia for the fourth time and I'm totally disappointed. How can some reviews result from the fact that a lot has changed ???
I mean, a lot has changed, but in a negative sense. The new Vera Club integrated in the Utopia (only for would-be rich and beautiful Italian citizens) has ruined the Utopia. Let's start with the food ... 8 years ago it was first in Utopia, and then the food was really great, and now? Just a small example: For breakfast there was initially for three days e.g. B. spring onions, black honey, different jams etc. suddenly only two kinds of jam, no onions, no black honey etc. anymore. But half-dried parsley and dill bunches. Complaint to the manager didn't bring anything, but we were told that there are now three, instead of two types of cheese compared to earlier . All in all, the food always tasted the same. The best is and remains the baked flatbread in the beach restaurant.
The founders for the deterioration of the hotel are obvious, since half of the staff for the Vera Club has been withdrawn.
Otherwise everything is still ok. Had a Superia room this year, these have been newly renovated and are tip top. The staff is also really nice and friendly.
Diving center as always everything was great.
Unfortunately, a very big drawback is that the great house reef is suffering more and more from the masses of snorkelers and divers.
So, ... Conclusion: What should I say ... If something doesn't improve soon, I won't visit it again, and I won't recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately!!!
